Properties / Re: How Much Is A Plot Of Land In AYOBO Area by Unclerukus: 9:38am On Apr 10, 2016
Please don't fall into the hands of scammers. My parents have a house in Ayobo and the area where we stay the price range for a plot of land is between 2-2.5 million(might have even increased as that was a figure of two years ago). Roads are being constructed there and land is actually getting scarce to find because it's developing speedily with an okay electricity. It's a real residential area. If you had close to 11 million, I would have linked you up to a family that wants to sell their property because they are all moving to Canada. 1 and half plot with a house in it.

rushman003:

Then they should not have allowed Muslim brethren if they knew they wanna do business by poisoning the mind of those minors. Think of it yourself if I should feed you and do good for you countless time won't you bow to my order as an adult Tak less of the minor.
Or Christianity teaches you to do good and stand by the good that the person must compensate you for doing good. You do good things because you are commanded to do it. So don't expect that good done to human being must be reciprocated except from the Lord of the world.

Allaah knows best. Peace.
Are IDP camps made up of ONLY minors? I believe they've made their choice. Christianity is not and can never be related to force so its not a case of expecting when you give out. The groups were probably left red faced and decided to include the words "forcefully" and "minors" to draw attention. If they cant provide a suitable place for the people , they should pipe down. Instead of focusing on welfare of people they choose to talk about religion . I know that place well, run on charity and they are even well fed, clothed and catered for by kind hearted people.

you hit the nail just right. Unfortunately nairaland seems to be where these hypocritical elements gather and fester. Muslims on nairaland condemned Yunusa unacceptable acts to ese despite this those hedious elements still repeatedly maligned and insults various Muslims in this forum now the sams shameless wailers are celebrating what they just condemned this is sad this is sick and an indication of questionable character.
You are IQ deficient. Ese's was a case of abduction/kidnapping of a minor. A good hearted christian organisation decided to help IDP's with their own funds and you expect that "CHRISTIAN" group to preach Islam. Its logical they'll be easily swayed to Christianity. Guess they are tired of violent and backward doctrines. I am 100% percent sure they were not forced to accept Christianity, we don't do that. These groups should pipe down and keep shut, i am also very sure, if it were christians suffering the same fate, No muslim group would have been kind enough to help out. Muslims should learn from that instead of making baseless accusations Learn to show appreciation, its a private camp not funded by government.

Business / Re: Entrepreneurship In Nigeria Is A Scam And A Multiplier Of Poverty by Unclerukus: 6:44pm On Mar 14, 2016
You actually got it wrong OP. Reverse is actually the case, in most economically strong nations, America, sweden,Australia, etc, they believe in what we call the underground economy (SME) that actually go under the radar of taxation because they are small. They account for close to 70% of employment opportunities abroad. The problem with Nigeria and Nigerians is that everybody wants to work in a firm or wear suits and leave to office even when you earn "meagre stipends", we are so dependent on working for somebody, not creating your own opportunities. Its like this because Tertiary Education has been made cheap and easy to secure, its choking the labour market. Entrepreneurship is not about being big like dangote but making yourself a living out of your creativity, in doesnt have to be big. I am a Nigerian and i can tell you that Nigerian youths are easily the most unserious and lackadaisical you can find around. A lot of them change expensive phones between 50-240k frequently but still complain of unemployment. Why not invest in a little business. My brother don't blame the country. Sort yourself out. I started my business with 186k which was part of my savings during my NYSC mixed with other little savings, i started at the final 2 months of my service year.I export farm produce to some pig farms in china. The business wasn't easy at all at first, i wasn't making much for some time, close to a year, until recently. An ex-friend of mine got a job at KPMG and started acting funny and told me he was not in my level anymore, he was earning close to 250k, to God's glory, that's actually chicken feed to me now. If someone were to tell me to come work for shell right now, i'll be seriously offended because they cant pay me what i earn in my business. I didn't wait on Nigeria to help my case, i believe being educated gives you the platform to express your inate creativity and prowess at something not being a zombie behind a desk dependent on a stipend every month end. Enterpreneurship is the way forward . Only average joes depend on a salary, you can never be rich and experience freedom earning a salary.maybe comfortable but not rich. Nigeria doest have the framework to support Entrepreneurs, yes, create a framework for yourself. Lot of entrepreneurs are making silly money in Nigeria, take a look at computer village , lagos, i know a few young guys below 28 years that make millions every month , between 8-10 million, do they have ten heads?

Incorrect! That python is not a small one, probably big enough to swallow that guy, they attack and swallow crocodiles(bigger sizes though). With a mamba, theres a chance to use local medicine on time. Once a pyhton starts coiling and gets to your torso, my brother, thats game over because they are so strong, they easily overpower bigger prey. Kudos to the boy. Not a small feat.

Religion / Re: Do You Actually Believe In The Existence Of Witches And Wizards? by Unclerukus: 9:34am On Feb 22, 2016
Most of the people here discrediting their existence are witches or wizards who want us to think they don't exist. When I served in Edo state, I had an encounter. A student in jss3 walked up to me to confide in me that some boys in ss2 and he's own class where threatening him to join their coven, he confessed he was initiated through bush meat and later that night he saw his friends call to wake him up from sleep, he flew around the village and they even travelled that night to Lagos, he told me he was scared and didn't want to be involved anymore. I reported to the principal and even flogged the supposed "bullies" (thought it was a fairy tale). Everything changed the next night, I started experiencing chronic sleep paralysis (where something is pressing my neck on the bed) sometime I experience close to 2-3 times at night, and cats suddenly came crying at my windows and scratching at my door. They wanted to make me unstable. they didn't skip a day. I barely slept, I was not prayerful then. It's too much to write. It later degenerated so low that NYSC Edo state had to be involved and transferred me to another village. Witchcraft is everywhere even abroad. Some people are just too spiritually passive to notice them and their activities. They exist but do not acknowledge them for you have a grater power in you, Christ's.

This Linda is very immature. They say pride goes before a downfall, must you always brag about your house at every given opportunity, God has blessed you, fine, but talking about it with every given opportunity is just pointless and childish. What do you expect the Dangote's and Danjuma's to start doing? Walking with their head.

This reminds me of the snake that swallowed a whole goat last week. There's a good chance this dog was being curious poking the snake or trying to play with it before being paralyzed by venom. It's going to die a slow and painful death if the venom isn't removed immediately.
Ermmmm...... Pythons are not venomous, the kill through constriction

Career / Re: Is Working For Access Bank That Bad? by Unclerukus: 9:04pm On Jan 03, 2016
The problems facing Nigerian youths includes being driven by money, they go to school to get a job and earn money, not build a career. If you get a banking job, don't sit back expecting the salary alone, improve yourself, write professional exams like CIB or ACCA. Once a banking job starts to progress, you tend to earn more and delegate duties(more time). Make sure you have the passion for a banking career before entering it and saying trash about it. NB. Tellers that collect your monies at stands are mostly contract staff( I wouldn't call them bankers) , not graduate trainees and they are well paid. In management of banking, you'll find salaries that exceed what people earn even in the oil companies.

And your Christianity is not a satanic religion? A religion that supported colonisation and slave trade. A religion that supported witch-hunting in Europe for 400 years. A religion that supported crusades and inquisitions? A religion that posits that the black man would forever serve the white man based on the ridiculous assumption that he is a descendant of ham. Its obvious that you get your information from CNN. Go and read!
My friend, you know nothing. So the turks and Arabs didn't trade slaves? Clueless. Who abolished slave trade?, the Muslims? Go and read about Salem, without witch hunts, Europe might not have progressed as it is now. Crusades were carried out then through the Catholic church( I wouldn't call them Christians) because of Muslim turks, doing what they know best, forcing their doctrines by force through jihad all over the place. They were a cancer that needed control. You contradict yourself, in most Islamic nations, they detest the black man even till today, compare that with most of Europe where they mix and marry there. Am not surprised by what Muslims are, they are the sons of Ishmael and are only fulfilling the prophecy in the Bible that they are going to be scourge of the earth. They'll still take down U. S and bring Europe on its knees. It's all in the Bible. They are an instrument for the anti christ.

I knw the case of som1 dat performed woefully in a job interview, and he got the job. His performance was so bad, that he was recruited because the manager felt he needed to impact on him, afterall it was a graduate training role.
It takes guts and WITS to survive in the labour market. She lacks wits. Am sure she can't write a formal letter talk less an essay.

just imagine u criticising her as english language is key to economic hardship and unemployment, how many chinise or indian tech guys that dominate world tech understand english, alot of engineers come solve our technical problem in nigeria with out knowing how to speak just a sentence,do u know if she is an engineering gradute?
So who english do help.....go alaba u go prefer igbo language
You made mention of the chinese and Indians, if you don't know, the chinese speak Mandarin and Indians speak Hindu which are their official languages, so if they can speak English fluently, that's an achievement.
Nigeria's official language is English, taught in schools from pre-school to post-graduate level. If a person can't master that language, it's a very bad thing. If she gets employed, can she write an official letter to a client?, represent her company in official matters in public? or be in a capacity to communicate properly with the company's stakeholders? Any client who communicates with such employee would deem the company as incompetent and it doesn't reflect well on the goodwill of such company. So many Nigerian graduates are like that, maybe not being fluent in their grammar but lack the basic qualities needed to be employed, only few are competent. They don't add skills or improve themselves, most can't make use of the Internet to their advantage. Everybody is not meant to be a degree holder.

Politics / Re: On The Trail Of Frail Madame Diezani Allison - Dele Momodu by Unclerukus: 11:22am On Nov 07, 2015
Mr. Dele Momodu made his name by being a lap dog to people in politics. Trying his best to make Nigerians pity diezanni, a smart Nigerian knows what up. I think diezanni and any politician who has taken money meant to improve the life of the tax payers and deprive them of basic social amenities deserves everything cruel to them. Think of the money these people steal from the coffers of Nigeria it can be used to monstrously revamp the medical and educational sector and more. think of lives that are wasted everyday because of poor social and health care services (hundreds of lives each day). Take a look at Qatar or Dubai. Nigeria is supposed to be like those countries but these people decide to stockpile for themselves and their generations like an animal keeping food for winter. I have no iota of pity for her, let the money she stole give her a good comfort and heal her. She and other thieving politicians should know that blood in their hands.

This is just theatrics, it will soon go quiet and the case would be forgotten or the court would keep on amending the dates of trial till we all forget he was even charged. This is Nigeria, 90% of the current "angels" in APC have all been PDP party members at a point, so who is deceiving who?. What has been done to James ibori, Emmanuel Uduagan, Tinubu?, even Amaechi has been recognised as a ministerial nominee. What has been done to to get back and address issues of illegal and unjustly sharing of federal oil wells to party loyalists and allies? The farm Obasanjo is farming belongs to the Federal government, the U.K government was the one to really put on the spotlight on Diezanni while our government were busy pondering or pretending to ponder whether she should be investigated and charged. These guys are smarter than many Nigerians, who are just stupidly claiming allegiance to one party or the other. These guys are close allies who prey on the collective naivety of most Nigerians. Watch and see how this pans out, this man will never smell a jail cell, talkless of a black Maria.
