Petyr1:Different strokes for different folks bro and I didn't ask for everyday, I simply said at least thrice a week. Was that too much to ask for? I recently came across a post where a guy was complaining of how he loves to call and be called but his gf doesn't and he hates it, so you see, it's the person, not a gender thing. Why would you go a week or two weeks without calling me? |
Amb1045:Still doesn't mean people who converse everyday don't have things to discuss and BTW, we were in a long distant relationship and had things to talk about. Don't just assume about sex bro. |
Amb1045:Just take a look at yourself. Mtcheeeeeewwwwww. You make me laugh, walahi. Most people here often feel they know how to talk and are always right. I won't honour you by arguing with you on what you know nothing about. |
Ariza:Lol, bro didn't know I wasn't jobless. Thank goodness I stopped telling him most of my plans. Lol. I'm quite good at ghosting, mastered the art. Who you be lol. Thanks sis, I know you're also doing well. ![]() |
HomerTimpson:Ah bon? Je be savais pas! Lol I'll remember to do so. And I actually really don't care. Que sera, sera. |
Ariza:The call thing was the only issue actually. I don't hate him, I'm just so indifferent about him. Lol. Now he sometimes chats me up and when I ignore he feels bad. Maybe he never knew I'm good at ghosting people, well now he knows because mi o raiye kati kati. . I no be alaini nkan shey. ![]() |
HomerTimpson:Lol. Knight what? Abeg abeg abeg, I no get that energy. Make im dey him lane make I dey mine. Na money I dey try find. I get better things way I wan use my life do. |
Ariza:True and I'll be honest, he didn't like calls which was a problem for me. He could go over a week without calling and see nothing wrong with it. I on the other hand like to call and I even said since he didn't like calls then we could make it every two days or something and bro still had issues with it. Abeg, na him headache be that. Kama pade mo (make we no meet again). |
Hmph, kama pade mo! Been with someone like this and it wasn't funny. |
DaddyRochie1642:No, it isn't true. Much as I don't like to talk about my relationship with guys, I'll say I did these things and you don't have to believe me. However, dude had the effrontery to tell me I don't know how to love. Ahahahahhahahhahha. No be him fault sha. Na me Bleep up Remembering this, I begin to ask myself if I was stupid or something. |
What's free basics? |
GoshenNLA:Lol, this got me laughing. Ibadan isn't bad actually. I like the peace there is in Ibadan as well. |
Ahan, this guy still dey play ni? I bin think say him don retire na. |
Alexgman1:That last part, " he tried to rape me" got me laughing. Na the koko be that. ![]() |
SavageBoy:Haha, yes and that's because almost all Queens did same that day otherwise I'd never have done it in my entire life. Lol, I know girls who did it back then sha. Lol, Queens? I think the hall just has this class thing attached to it sha. There certainly were and still are girls from rich homes in Queens and of course, the ones who had to work, sell and school in Queens (the class to which I belonged) lol. So you gatecrashed abi? You're still in school or done? |
determination26:Glad to read this, I usually manifest things through my mind. I can't really explain though but it works for me, I haven't achieved much in life but I used to be very low in life, really. Thank goodness for the type of person I am, someone else could have gone through bouts of depression and attempted suicides, I'm not where I wan to be but I'm not where I used to be. Check your mail. |
I'm thinking she might be a narcissist. Block her if doing so will give you rest of mind. |
Lol, Is this thread as a result of a thread opened by one guy who stated that SWesterners haven't been able to develop despite not having experienced war? If it is? Let's not cause rows please. Dude even said Lagos was developed by none westerners, why then did those who developed Lagos not stay back in their place? See, make I no talk sef. |
pDudd:Good to read from a UI graduate, I was a Queen and of course I can relate! Lol. |
Lol, Trenchard Hall and parties ehn. There's always an event there every Saturday and I trust Mellanbites, Tedderites, Kutites and Bellites to gate crash, lol. How you wan take do party for our school and our boys no go chao? Lol Well, in 100 level back then in the prestigious Queen Elizabeth II hall (University of Ibadan ), I was jejely in my room that Saturday morning doing what I can't remember when I heard Queens saying there was an ongoing party in that mini hall (I can't believe I can't remember the name of that place where elections and events do hold in Queen's hall again, chai!), well, girls said they had to go have their share of the sumptuous meals that were being shared, lo and behold, my roomies, floor mates, block mates and other queens had started going with various dishes, bowls and coolers to get meals that rightfully belonged to them as per landladies na, lol, hmph (I'm an ambivert by nature and the introverted side of me supersedes the other side of me so I would actually never do such) but guess what, I jejely took my own deep dish with cover and majestically strutted to that place to go get ounje omo onile not because I was hungry but because if I didn't experience gatecrashing that day then I'd never experience it, plus I wasn't about to miss party amala ( not like I was going to be the only Queen there, duh .( ), and with the type of appetite I have, most times I only eat because it's necessary for my existence and that'd probably be my brunchd (breakfast, lunch and dinner maybe). Remembering this makes me laugh hysterically now though. Well, I got my wonderful amala (as the proper Yoruba girl wey I be) with I think some drinks , (we weren't about to let the drinks waste na pliks) and majestically strutted back to my room (H21) with my friends. Oh, what a day! I remember the food was sumptuous ![]() Amala, ewedu soup and MEATS ![]() That's my only gatecrashing experience. Oh, I remember now, my friends would sometimes drag me to go felicitate with graduands during convocation every November. Omg, what friends I have! And to think I didn't go for my own convocation . Convocation parties in UI dey always be like owambe weddings. Chai! |
Maybe you both were fond of each other while she still lived. My brother. and stepsister experienced something similar not knowing my dad was dead already. I also felt his presence in form of a heavy downpour, I went out to check if it was raining but guess what, it wasn't! It was a sign that I had lost my precious dad, the one who meant the world to me. My uncle told me my dad once visited him and pleaded with him to ensure that I and my brother gt educated! How do you also explain a man who was called by my dad (who had died two weeks earlier but he had no knowledge of it) and was told to ensure he helped secure his land (dad sternly warned him thrice that nothing must happen to his land, in his words "nkankan o gbodo shey ile mi ooooo" thrice) and after he had ended the call, a mutual friend called this man and when he told that one that he had just spoken to my dad, that one exclaimed and asked "which Mr ....? Lol, so he said the same man whom they both knew and who worked at Court of Appeal, lol. It was that friend who informed the man that he had spoken to a ghost, someone who had died some days earlier lol. My stepmum also told us a very story. So, she and her parents were still living in Ghana and Mr A comes visiting, apparently to stay for both Christmas and new year and then he proceeds to gist them about how he had witnessed an accident where people had lost their lives and how he felt sorry for the dead, their families and friends lol. After having spent Christmas, he suddenly woke up one morning, packed his bags and despite pleas from my step mum's family, left without looking back oooo. Upon his departure, a visitor comes and they tell him Mr A had just left, that one screams and informs them that Mr A had died in a ghastly accident! Lol, some years back or something. My friend witnessed one back then in secondary school. So, she heard a man screaming "iro ni, a Jo m'oti l'ana ni, o de fun mi ni owo gan sef (it's a lie, we had both drunk beer yesterday and had also gotten some money from him sef)" lol, well, so the late man's family had just informed Mr Rasheed (not real name) of the death of their father some 10 years back. Meanwhile, Mr rasheed had had a drink with the late man and had received some cash from him as well. Lol. It was so funny, still is. A lot happen and I believe the dead do visit the living sometimes. If not, how do you explain these? |
Baba re lo'n bawiWhat? Lol! Omg! Are you Yoruba? ![]() My goodness this response is so funny. |
