Omicron007: Examination is actually the spoiler and vibe killer in schools. But, no one can actually progress in school without writing exams.
A lot of desperation and seriousness comes with examinations. Students try to avoid carry-overs while others aim at making the highest grades possible.
I was in the examination hall one certain day. In the middle of the exam, I just went blank. I wasted more than four minutes trying to write severe. To make matters worse, the guy sitting to my right was our pastor and no matter the situation, he won't reply you during examination. He later came and met me after the exam to apologize.

LetDemKnow: Over the years, there have been some impressive Nigerian records resulting from musicians taking shots at each-other, or even at other celebrities in a song. As many will agree, beefing/dissing is a fundamental musical culture, especially in Hip Hop and will never go anywhere.
So, whether you consider them to have been the pursuit of clout or commercial success, below top 10 diss songs in the history of modern Nigerian music, ranked in no particular order.
“Maga Don Pay” had earned Imo state singer, rapper, and record producer Kelly Handsome some prominence and a loyal fan-base when the smash hit debuted in 2008. But while Handsome was mainly dominating parts of Eastern Nigeria- home to the Ibo people and the Igbo language, Mo’ Hits Records and Dbanj were pretty much the name on everyone’s lips. No one could have guessed Kelly Handsome would have a bone to pick with Dbanj and his crew, targeting them with a diss song titled “Igwe.” “Igwe” was a follow-up to an earlier diss record, a satire of Wande Coal’s hit song with Kay Switch “Who Born The Maga.” In the record, Handsome accused Mo’ Hits of abusing his culture and traditions, declaring himself the original Igwe (King). People still think Dbanj and Don Jazzy’s 2008 hit song “Igwe,” where the DB Records’ boss joked he was honoured and made a chieftain when he visited Igbo land was the cause of the dispute. And perhaps it was.
Perhaps the funniest and lightest beef song that’s ever come straight out of Naija. But it makes our list because of its directness and raw lyricism. Nico Gravity didn’t hold anything back, calling Timaya out on all fronts, before going on to give him advice. Well, wherever Gravity is today, he’d have swallowed his words given how successful and influential the Dem Mama boss is today. The hook too- Golden!
Kelly Handsome dominated one of the most exciting periods of beefing in the history of Nigerian music. Whether he was doing it for fun, clout, commercial success or because he truly had a problem with the artists he was taking shots at remains a mystery until now. But he gave us plenty to remember. However, many will say he bit a little more than he could chew when he chose to add MI to his list of targeted artists in his rap song “Catch Me If You Can.” While the record was mainly targeted at Handsome’s arch-enemies Mo’ Hits Records, he did have a swipe at MI’s debut album “Talk About It,” referring to MI as short as a reply to the Choc City rapper’s claim he was sitting on top Naija hip Hop. Everyone was pumped to see how MI handles the diss, given that Mo’ Hits never really indulged Handsome all the while, and the result is one of the most talked about diss tracks in the history of Nigerian music. Till now, people tout this record to be Kelly Handsome’s career waterloo, given that we didn’t really hear much from the rapper/singer after its release.
Talk about ranting in Hip Hop and this is probably the hardest rant diss record you can get. Rappers Erriga and Yung6ix had put Warri on the map with their music, but these guys showed us exactly why you don’t want to cross a typical Wafsider. Asides perfectly mimicking the great 2Pac Shakur, this track probably contains some of the rawest lyrics you’ll ever hear in a diss track just like the original “Hit Em Up”, calling out several big names including Mode 9, MI, Ice Prince, Erriga, Banky W, 2Shotz, Rugged Man, and even accusing Wizkid of wearing pampers. Sick!
Although not targeted at anoter musician, “Telli Person” sparked a trend after Phyno appeared to have fired warning shots at then Instagram celebrity Hushpuppi. Phyno and Hushpuppi’s feud had resulted from the now convict accusing the rapper of flaunting fake jewellery. Phyno fired back in the record. The record would have even made more sense if it had been released in the wake of Hushpuppi’s controversial downfall plotted by the FBI.
The Plantashun Boys saga is one that will probably go down as the most serious and most controversial beefs of all time as far as Nigerian music is concerned. Although this song was supposed to be some sort of “I have moved on” message from 2Face to his former band members Faze and BlackFace, it will go down, ironically as one of the biggest diss songs that made the rounds. It later prompted a response from Faze. It’s a typical example of how the tone and choice of words can lead to the misinterpretation of a message. However, without the record, we wouldn’t have had Faze’s wonderful, evergreen track “Letter to My Brother.”
Talk about different personalities and temperaments. When 2Face dropped “See Me So,” his intention was to try and broker peace between him and his estranged Plantashun Boys family. However, Faze’s “Letter to My Brother” showed 2Face exactly how to preach peace from the heart. This song, although was the brainchild of quarrel, will forever remain one of Nigeria’s most classic records, and deserves to be in the hall of fame of Nigerian music, if we ever have something like that in the near future.
Of course, the history of beef in Nigeria will be incomplete without Vector in it. We later heard AQ didn’t even know Vector had planned this record as a diss track to fellow rapper Reminisce. As usual, Vector displayed why he’s considered one of the best rapper’s in the game, with punch lines that hit hard and his trademark wordplays.
Twitter was the genesis of Vector’s beef with MI, and yeah, most fans consider them the undisputed supremos when it comes to Nigerian Hip Hop. And rightly so, when you consider that Mode 9 is an underground artist. As far as quality goes, the MI and Vector saga served fans premium diss records to sink their teeth into. Many still consider it a commercial antic by both rappers, especially after Vector claimed in an interview that the beef helped him sell more records. Well, beefing is a culture in Hip Hop and will never go away, and this one certainly raised the bar.
One of the songs birthed by the MI vs Vector saga. Much like Jay-Z’s “Take Over” diss track to Nas, this record is touted by many experts as the best diss track ever recorded in a studio by a Nigerian artist. Many people were interested in seeing how MI would handle Vector’s call-out, and boy did he hold it down! MI and Vector have since buried the hatchet, going on to appear on this year’s Hennessy Artistry Cypher.

By now I was legit scared of business that I had to abandon it and seek for admission into the university. If at that I didn't stop trying
I was home for a break in school so I looked for something to do to earn money for the main time. A friend of my mom was selling bar soaps then and according to my mom she was swimming in money though she didn't look it o. I met her and she told me how she was making millions by taking the soaps to other States to sell, she advised I went to pH since they had high purchasing power. I used to hustle street trading in pH so I was familiar with the environs which was an advantage or so I thought. I did my calculations and was in high spirits as I was going to hammer this time. I borrowed 100k from my dad, bought about cartoons of bar soap and set off to pH on a faithful Wednesday because I targeted oil mill Thursday market . I first dropped at obigbo junction and set my cartons of soap by a corner that the owner was absent and started screaming on top of my voice soliciting for customers...buy your original soap here, only 100 100 naira, e don dey finish oooo, eleme dey look bayelsa dey buy oo, after today no more ooo....I kept shouting.... I got some occasional glances by passerby's as they proceeded to their destinations, one hour turned to two hours yet no one has asked me whether na sample I sample abi na sell I dey sell. I got exhausted from my fruitless shouting and sat down, I realized it was getting dark so I called the number of the person I would pass the night in her place at mile 1....ghen ghen number no dey no reachable .... I shaa packaged my cartoons of soap and set off to mile 1, after all I came for oil mill so I'm sure I would sell all the next day. Getting to mile 1 around past 8, every where was dark and deserted. I was scared so I had to proceed to mile 3 that was livelier. I packed my goods in one park and started looking for a place to pass the night, I went to a police station but they were questioning me like a criminal even after narrating my ordeal to them. I left and went the a church and the security turned me back that they only allow people to sleep in the church during vigils. I ended up sleeping in an uncompleted building in the state university. The following morning I set off to oil mill market, I remember when I dropped a barrow pusher came to carry the goods to a place I would keep them but since I was running low on cash I asked him to help me place it on my head....haa oga this thing heavy o e go break your neck o, just give me 3h make I carry am for you.....he exclaimed, don't worry I'm fine I replied. Five minutes later I was sweating like a Christmas goat with my neck now at 180 degrees, it was remaining just two poles to my destination when I gave up and dropped the bag. I called another barrow pusher and he quoted 250 naira.....chai see penny wise pound foolish, I barely had any strength left to haggle price so I agreed. I found a corner outside the market and set my cartons of soap, I took one carton and went inside the market screaming on top of my voice as usual, three hours later and I had just sold only 5 bars of soap to make matters worst it started raining and my cartons of soap was in the open. I ran like a mentally deranged man to where I kept my wares trying to save it from the rain, while I tried to carry the cartons to a shed some gave way throwing some of the soaps on the road with tricycles running over them. A barrow pusher came to my rescue and helped me save the rest. After the rain subsided I went back into the market and started selling the soap at a 50% loss yet I was unable to finish one carton, while I was struggling to sell my kaya those agberos came with their wahalla and collected #300 from me, I went to a different section of the market to try my luck and 4 different agberos surrounded me with different tickets each not less than #200 . Oga abeg I never sell anything I tried to explain to them, come on give me my money joor one of them roared. By now I was close to tears as they made away with my goods, heiya its unfair o, you people should pity this poor boy naa, see he's even crying, some market women pleaded on my behalf. They finally collected #500 from me. I managed to sell two cartons just enough to get my transport back home and set off to the park. I was looking very dirty and unkept, at the park I bumped into a girl I was wooing when I was in ph, she kept staring at me probably trying to deduce if I was actually the person she was seeing. I kept a straight face and went to sit at the back of the bus away from other passengers glare. At home I took the remaining goods to the woman I bought it from and sold it to her at over 60% loss and gave my dad the balance, though he complained but I carest not.
Even though I'm beginning to feel that business is not for me. I still want to try more. I'm still broke and I've got more ideas though no capital but something keeps telling me I will get a breakthrough I business one day. I will still come back to testify here.

My wedding is approaching and I'm so excited about it. Before I met my husband to be, there's this married man I know. Right from day one he told me who was married but his family based in a different state. I told him I'm single and I can't marry a married man nor date a married man. We both laughed about it.
Years passed, he became so close to my family and everybody around me. He comes to my house, gist with my mum, siblings and my family members are very accommodating. I had my boyfriend whom everyone knows, that I have nothing with this man. he support me financially some times. I have been helpful as well in my own ways. most times, I helped him out with cooking, even followed him to supper market to pick beautiful clothes (wears) for his wife and children. I have known this man for about 4 yrs now, but never have I had intimat.e relationship with him. He's like a big brother to me although he deeply loved me and have asked me out severally, but i have never involved myself with him s.exuallly.
This man have been so good to me, but now, I want to get married and he's so angry with me, he appears so hurt and heartbroken. He's behaving as if I betray his love. He's acting as if nothing mean anything to him any more. He almost lost his job last week due to lack of concentration. He takes his job carelessly now,
How can I help him heal emotionally, without distracting my own marriage?

In any case, I think ladies and guys alike should really ask lot of questions when deciding to marry someone who had kid/s for another person before going on to marry them.. especially, if the first spouse is still alive. They should keep in mind, all may not be truly finished between them and anything can still happen.
Marrying legally does not stop anything..laslas you go divorce...so, think am well
