abawoman: Good afternoon Moms. Please, does anyone know more about reusable diapers for babies.. Possibly a brand name, contact of seller and how it works. Is it advisable to use it. Thanks Do you mean cloth diapers? I haven’t used them before but I think they aren’t bad if you don’t mind the constant washing. You can check Ali express to buy. It’s usually two parts, the main diaper and a lining/insert

Phamoo4u: Hello broda please I'm coming to Brazil soon.....I wil need accommodation for me.and my family ooh.....very cheap accommodation
I do need you guys support ooh For temporary stay, your best bet is Airbnb. Don’t bother with local rentals. You’ll need a dollar card to pay for the accommodation. In São Paulo, the process is relatively fast. Delay is usually from getting a polícia federal appointment but you can beat it by constantly refreshing their page for a close date. Also come with police character for everyone applying for PR, you’ll need it for your application. As soon as you get to Brazil, send it to the Nigerian embassy in Brasilia along with processing fee so you can get it back asap. Apply for your CPF as soon as you land, you’ll need it for almost everything. It can be done online. |

Scan revealed TRIPLETS ooooooo.
I am both super excited and scared.
We are just beginning and it’s a long road ahead.
We did IVF.
Kindly recommend good centres that manage multiple birth pregnancies very well especially around Ikeja/ Berger/ Maryland axis.
Thanks Congratulations! |

Soki234: Vaginal birth after 2 previous CS is almost absolutely contraindicated. This is so because, as someone rightly said, there is a very high chance of uterine rupture that may be catastrophic to either or both mother and the baby.
Depending on the type of CS, subsequent vaginal birth may even be contraindicated after only 1 previous CS. This is so mostly with a classical CS (though this isn't a regular choice for the obstetrician nowadays).
For women who have had one previous CS in which a transverse lower segment incision (most common) was done, there is no automatic qualification to attempt VBAC. There are series of criteria that you and your baby will have to fulfill during the course of antenatal care, and even up to the labour room.
Outcomes are poorer when a woman is attempting a VBAC is subjected to a repeat CS during the course of labour and delivery. Thank you |

omah1: I am a multiple CS Mama. The second C-S recovery was faster and the pain was more bearable. It might be because I kind of played the whole process in my head before the D-Day and God showed me Mercy. Wow, that’s great. Thank you |

voucher: My second CS was more painful but i have seen some women who said the second was better.. I can’t say what it depends on Chai, maybe individual body, a friend also said her second was really painful. She was in labor for a while before they eventually did CS. I’m trying to avoid that kind of situation. I’m trying to see if I should try Vaginal birth. My first, i didn’t go into labor at all hence the CS. I’m scared of pain, I won’t lie so I’m trying to go for the easier option. I know none is easy but I’ll take the less painful one. |

StephOkemini: BA! BA!! BA!!!
I gave birth to my princess on the 3rd of June through an emergency CS... EDD from LMP was supposed to be 13th July
Everything about my pregnancy was going so well for me (no morning sickness, no vomiting, no spitting and so on). I was just feeling like a baby girl till around 31 weeks or thereabout when I had that pain above my stomach that couldn't allow me sleep... It subsided and came back after about 2 weeks, it was so severe I rushed to a health center close to me to complain and after some tests they said it was ulcer... They also said I had malaria and typhoid... I was given antibiotics injections and drugs with malaria injections and some prenatals... The pain went but I noticed that I became so weak with serious pain on my lap and calf when I try to get up or sit. I went for my antenatal and when they checked my vitals they noticed I had developed high blood pressure with protein in my urine... I was given drugs for it and asked to come the next week to check again.. When I returned the next week it was still there and that was how I was referred to a general hospital to go and get the baby out immediately... They said it was a sign of preeclampsia which was a big risk for mother and child... Mehn... My heart cut... I was like how?.. Is that how they use to just go and get baby out?... That was how me and my husband went to another hospital to go and get another opinion... We got there and gave the referral letter and explained... The doctor said that the hospital was actually right.. He said they'll perform their own test and if it comes out same, they'll have to get the baby out to save our lives... I was admitted that day and they carried out a scan and some tests including liver function and kidney.. I was asking myself what I was doing there because I had no symptom of anything.. I felt very fine and strong... Results were out the next day.. No damage to kidneys and liver but I still had high blood pressure and protein in the urine, infact it increased sef... Everything just started happening so fast.. The next thing I knew, they were screaming that they had to carry out the delivery immediately, they were like "this baby should have been out since yesterday".. That was how they gave us drugs to go and buy and bills to pay for the delivery and other things... They gave me injections and drugs.. There was one particular injection that was so painful, I cried as they were injecting me (till now those spots in my bum is still swollen and painful when pressed)..... That was how I saw myself being wheeled to the theatre o (in my mind I was like wetin dey happen sef, for crying out loud I'm very fine).. The operation was carried out and my baby came out weighing 1.3kg at 34weeks (that was too small for her gestational age, I guess the BP restricted her growth). She was taken to the NICU and placed in the incubator with oxygen and stuff... She stayed in the NICU for 2 weeks and some days.. The whole delivery process and aftermath was painful and traumatic for me.. Throughout her stay in the NICU, I went to the hospital everyday to spend some hours and give them my expressed breast milk to feed her. They didn't allow me touch her till after about a week when they said I had to start doing KMC with her.. She was so tiny I was even scared of holding her so I won't hurt her.. She finally came home last week weighing 1.4kg. She's very strong and healthy, the only thing is just for her to add weight.. I pray she adds more rapidly than expected.
Errmm... Remember the scan I did said it was a male.. Well.. it was wrong, the baby turned out to be a beautiful girl.. Thank you
Sorry it's coming late, I've been so busy.. cappo @ ladyrachy Layormiii Congratulations mama Thank God for safe delivery, May she be a blessing to your family. |

CandyR: Hello everyone, I’ve been following the thread for some months since I applied in early March, thankfully just got my Visa/picked the passport. 3months validity was given. So I’ll drop some of my own experience so that I’ll also receive I applied with my husband, I was called for interview a month after, Interview questions: purpose of travel, travel history, who are you going with etc? Just normal interview questions. Then 2months after got called to pick up. Also I have a good travel history that covers countries in different continents (America, Asia, Europe, Africa).
Please I’ll like to ask for fun things to do in Brazil. (Rio) If anyone can be kind enough to give good hints to save cost etc. Plan going in July, how’s the weather etc. Congratulations! Rio is a lot of fun with lots of tourist attractions (Christ the redeemer, Sugarloaf, Copacabana Beach, Escadaria Selarion, Boat Cruises, Skydiving etc) The people are more laid back than most parts of Brazil. If you’re going for birth tourism, you may want to look at other states though as Rio is considered generally unsafe. As for the weather, it’s beautiful and mostly warm. I was there around July of a particular year, it was hot and the tourist guide said that was winter in Rio. It’s cold in São Paulo, Santa Catarina and some other states at the moment till November or so. Have fun! |

Dramadiddy: how long does the child have to be in school? I think you can apply once you enroll the child. You can check the Brazilian government website for better details. |
Travel › Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by untamedd(f): 7:38pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
Dramadiddy: Is it true that if your first child is a citizen, you can give birth to your second in Nigeria and claim Brazilian citizenship for the second? It’s true to an extent. You can apply for citizenship but you’d have to take the child to Brazil, apply for permanent residency based on the sibling’s citizenship, then enroll the child in a school (this shows that the child is willing to stay and be a Brazilian) You can then apply for citizenship for the said child. This applies to children born before and after the Brazilian child. |

armyofone: Trash it - February is long time ago with flour. If you choose to use it, you would have wasted other ingredients if it doesn't rise. And if that funny taste is ok and manageable to you, the other person might taste the difference.

I wanted to make some snacks this morning so I brought out my flour which I’ve had for a while. Turned out it’s expired. It’s sealed, never opened. It’s doing me somehow to throw it away.
I googled and saw something about flour never expires, it’s just best before that date. How true is this please?
