He sees your heart, conscience, good and wickedness.

He does not reside in a church or temple of any sort.

His word has been planted in your heart, you don't need to read any book to know him.

The bible says God is merciful. A "merciful" God is not supposed to be selective. I know of people who don't love God who are making it big time without much effort, while people who worship God can barely eat a meal. Sometimes I am tempted to believe that God does not exist.

But Unfortunately, while studying in Western societies, they bought the entire Western economic paradigm hook line and sinker.
They came back, not as Africans with new progressive ideas, but as Western colonial clones eager to fill the shoes of their role models.
They continued to perpetuate the same lopsided educational and economic policies that preserved the parasitic relationship between Africa and the west.

Lets start with the prevailing hegemonic economically system in the world today. This is a product of Western education.
Western education falsely imprints on our consciouness that the resources of the world are scarce, and gives us ever changing formulas for the allocation and distribution of resources, .. And viola!, we Buy into it.

Then they bring in credit and debt instruments as wealth creation tools. We Buy into that too.

Then surreptiously, they smuggle in social chaos, bring in military warfare as economic policy tools that are their exclusive preserve, we keep quite.

Now fast forward 100 or 50 yrs, the entire planet is in a mess.
Look at at American debt, Greece insolvency, most of Europe, Africa, just to give a few examples.
Isn't it obvious that the Western economic system has woefully failed in what it was promised to do?

Where is much touted efficient allocation and utilization of the world s resources? Why are there still hunger and discontent all over the world?

That Western education has been the dominant system does not mean that we couldnt have done better or could not have evolved a more efficient and egalitarian system of resource allocation and distribution.

Lets not use world statistic in measuring the good and bad of western education, a case study with our dear Nigeria is enough, in fact let's pick on a particular custom and see how egalitarian it has evolve with respect to resource allocation and distribution ( all these greedy and gullable black faces i see)


The fact still remain that western education has done more good than harm,

Customs and tradition has been an impedement to industrial development in nigeria but today shrines are being leveled in the name of oil exploration and mining.

Today all land and its mineral resources belong to the govt, the shrines and the evil forest(okija shrine) is not excluded, and so the govt gave us resource control law.

Bullsit to the barbaric custom which says women cannot own landed property, how have they evolve into an egalitarian custom without statute and judicial pronouncement?

Up until last 100 yrs or so, European cultures also suppressed, and subjugated the female gender. Infact, female priests are still forbidden in the European cultural religions like Catholic is.

In the middle east, women are still legally considered personal property. Middle east religions encouraged the buying and selling of female children. No African culture that I know of ever practiced such.

In Asia, women are still culturally opressed in this day and age.

On the hand, in certain African cultures, for example Ghana, their matrilineal system ensured that women enjoyed more rights and roles in their culture.

In Igbo culture, women played very important roles in the social cohesion of the Igbo society.
Womenhood was celebrated, not looked down upon.

I am not totally ignorant as you think, the good thing is that you are well versatile and have manage to cite numerous examples accross the globe,

I feel, there is need to harmonise mankind, as it is mankind is currently under threat, we need to think outside religion, customs, and a whole lot of beliefs idealogies of a way forward, carry what we need with us and abandon those ones that actually impede harmony.

We need positive statute to get things right, everything must be regulated: including religion and customs

Religion and politice are two instrulment use in either controling or deluding peoples mind, they seems to be tided together as far as leadership is concern in nigeria, our politician are a religious people, i belief there is a trick in camoflaging with religion, we will never know until we dellibrately seperate religion from politice, that nigerian musician was right( religion na politice)

A concept of spiritual leadership and political leadership, the people must be subdued spiritually for effective political control.

@op, god and the devil are two sides of a coin. One can't function without the other. Take the story of Job for example, they both polled their strengths together to make his life a living hell. This is exactly how it is played out on a regular. Without the devil how would the churches flourish? How would those tithes stack up? How would those private jets become airborne? Of course god needs the devil to play the fall guy,8the bahdt guy even though we all know god is the real evil mastermind (Isaiah 45-7) so the mentally enslaved can remain whipped into line. After all said and done,they both retire to their haven,high five each other,laugh heartily over a few drinks of the holy spirit of course and discuss the day's activities...sigh this has got to be the best tag team in history of mankind.
