undecided undecided When they met in the last Olympics, what was the scoreline. USA VS Nigeria?
156-73

Note that Diogu had 27 points in that game, Melo had 37 points to lead the US the difference was Diogu not having a strong supporting cast. They will still beat us but it won't be the whitewashing we had in 2012, this is the time to make an impact.

This should be beyond just politics and the governement, ordinally you would expect lot of charity work here, our religious organizations most expecially our reknowed churches with substaintial finance to help out here.

If this is not their calling then what is it?
People are helping out but the officials are just too corrupt.

This topic has made frontpage before and here's the post of a moniker and that post sticked to my brain since then and i dont think i can ever forget as i gave it to a friend and it worked for her..

Here's the moniker response..

Whenever hubby is yelling, saying, we've to do it this way, that way and she doesnt want it that way.. She'll allow him to yell, say all whatever he wants to say and not utter a word.

Later, when he's calm.. She'll now go and meet him, pray for him to pacify him and also for him to be focused on what she's come to discuss and then explain to him calmly on why they've to do it her own way.. Note: not that, she'll go and say, we've to do it this way.. What she does is to give him detailed reasons why her own way is the best, the advantages, disadvantages of her own method over him own.

As soon as she's done explaining to him.. She'll sharply reach for his di ck, bring it out and started handling and playing with it and the man will just start laughing and thats all..

Gave this tip to a female friend and she came back to give thanks..

Igbo is known for their decency. Shaking hands does not mean the struggle has been abandoned, what it means is that Igbo are people that love to debate, negotiate, discuss, deliberate etc.
We want to achieve Biafra peacefully, even if it means shaking hands with the other side (with nose closed )
I totally agree with you but unfortunately that's not the case right now, the opposite is what we have.

Ojukwu visits Buhari in Daura

By Hassan Karofi, in Daura

Ikemba Nnewi, Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu, yesterday visited the presidential candidate of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), General Muhammadu Buhari, in Daura, with a pledge to forge a common front with him to fight for justice and a better Nigeria.

Ojukwu, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the just concluded presidential election, told hundreds of well wishers who welcomed him to Buhari’s Daura home that the visit was aimed at ensuring a more united and greater nation.

Urging Nigerians to be resolute in the defence of democracy and the enthronement of justice, Ojukwu said his alliance with the ANPP presidential candidate would ensure a spirit of cooperation between the people of the South-East and the North.

Also speaking at the occasion, Buhari’s running mate in the election, Senator Chuba Okadigbo, urged Nigerians to be firm and committed to the enthronement of democracy.

He explained that the delegation which comprised political leaders from the South-East was in Daura to consult with General Buhari on the way forward and to ensure that justice prevails.

According to him, the ANPP presidential team will soon take over Aso Rock.

The delegation had a private lunch and held discussion with Buhari. Those in the team include: ANPP gubernatorial candi-date in Kaduna State, Suleiman Hunkuyi, Senator-elect, Kanti Bello and a former Health Minister, Dr. Tim Menakaya.

Responding, General Buhari thanked Nigerians for their support during the elections but said Ojukwu’s visit was a private one.

Dim Ojukwu later in the day met with members of the Igbo community in Daura and told them they should mobilise to make sure that justice is done.

He and his host are expected in Abuja today where the ANPP flag bearer is expected to go to file a petition at the Appeal Court for the nullification of the results of the April 11 presidential polls.
This is deep, Respect to Dim Ojukwu.

A case of square pegs and round holes
You're one of the few smart folks around, that's why I'm doing this. There's really no law that stops the President from appointing a non custom man as the head of the agency. Osita Chidoka became the head of FRSC from being an Advisor at Mobil, the gist at the time was that the President was impressed with his research in transport management.

Col Kayode Are was appointed the DG of SSS and he was a retired soldier. There was no noise at the time because these guys where brought in to breathe a fresh lease of life into the system. Buhari is simply doing the same thing. The Nigerian Custom Service is a security organization, the new head is a retired Colonel, do you really think it is a case of square pegs in round holes?
