oyb: naa its the breath of jmaine and the legion of gej promotersIt's the rot of your seared and serrated conscience, and your dead brain which is impervious to reason. |
It is ridiculous the length people will go to sabotage government's efforts. These false reports almost always spread thru phoney online tabloids like Sahara reporters and premium news. The pathetic part is that some clowns still make reference to such trashy gutter journalists in their posts on Nairaland. ![]() |
moderattor: he prophesied judas' death, he prophesied his own death.Peter's death? Where? |
How on earth did this get to Politics? Should be in the Jokes section. |
NigeriaKwenu: Good ridance to bad nonsenseAnd what does being Igbo have to do with the crime? |
Aside from the fact that some people have been contracted to castigate this govt on Nairaland, I can't find any other logical reason why some people will come here to deprive the president of the gratitude that the comrade Governor has willingly and freely offered him. |
“ I want to appreciate Mr President with his resolve and public pronouncement that he would provide adequate security for the people and the INEC staff before, during and after the election. “I am glad that Mr President kept to his words of assurance that there would be no thuggery, hooliganism and violence during the Edo Governorship Election. He said that the president had led by example, which is the hall mark of a statesman. “He is indeed a statesman, a man of honour because there was adequate and effective presence of security agents on ground. “I am impressed because the army actually played a neutral role .in the election,’’-Adams Oshiomole. |
dayokanu: You tell us since you dont seem to know. Read your history books Retardeen Jonathan wasnt President when Ngiges election, Osunbors elction, Omehias election was annulled. You're clearly the slowpoke here. |
bayooooooo: Junk!Folly! |
dayokanu: Jonathan rigged for PDP and declared Oni as winner until the Appeal court nullified the electionsIn a desperate bid to vilify the person and office of the President, you have in asking someone to go "read some history" made an open show of your ignorance. Read your own lines; "GEJ rigged for PDP and declared Oni winner". Was Oni's election conducted during GEJ's tenure as President? FYI, Oni's election was in 2009 and pre-dated the administration of GEJ. Get your facts right before you fool yourself |
warrior01: Pls tell us how?It is an interim report. Hopefully, the final report will answer that question. |
wesley80: ^ Because erm erm, Facrouks report was more erm erm erm kinda more erm erm more open you know and erm erm erm Farouk did not have any erm erm relative in any company investigated you see? Having a relation in a company being investigated renders the entire process null and void. If you think its a lie ask auntie Kobo, Voodoodoll and the rest of them, they told me so. It makes perfect sense to throwaway the baby with the bath water in this case. And the "Farouk/otedola" imbroglio is not enough reason to discard his obviously tainted report? Be objective pls. |
wesley80: Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, No way, I still prefer the Farouk report. Farouks report was more thorough than this. Ermmm well! It's the height of absurdity that you consider a tainted report put together by an embodiment of corruption masquerading as "Mr. Integrity" to AIG Imokhuede's obviously more balanced and objective report. Even with all the allegations of bribery, marked dollars, cap-stuffing, and call records, you still vouch for the Farouk report? Your surname must be Lawan. |

mantote: I have been dormant on nairaland for over a year but am back to deal with that sss agent called beaf and company. @ seun osewa, watch out for meYou have been dormant till you were recruited by your new paymasters. I want to assure you that you will soon go back to being unemployed. Get a proper job! |
Already, his achievements are visible in every sector. All the Zaria-Funtua-Gusau roads, Oshodi-Apapa with expansion and drainage works, dedicated bridge frm liverpool roundabout to Tin can ports, trailer park, Dualisation of Ibadan -Ilorin, ENUGU-Onitsha, completion of OWERRI -Onitsha, 9th mile, ongoing reconstruction of Benin-Ore-Sagamu highway measuring over 265 km, Kano-Maidugri Dualisation. Keffi -Akwanga-Lafia, award of Afikpo-Okigwe, Auchi-Okene being handled by Setraco. Loko-Eweta-Karishi bridge, Kolo-Nembe -Brass to mention but a few. In Transport, massive reforms at the ports. Sanitisation and reduction of operating agencies to 7. Introduction of 24 hrs ports operation. Ongoing Construction of light gauge train railways across the 4 cardinal points of the federation. In Aviation, massive reconstruction of major airports in the land, Enugu airport is undergoing total rehabilitation. The domestic wing of Abuja airport is also being reconstructed with expansion of roads and car parks. Same fr the international wing and the kano airports In Education, establishment of 9 new federal universities in less than 1 year. Construction of 2 new campuses of the Nigerian law schools in Yenagoa and Yola respectively. Launched the Almajiri schools for education of itenerant Islamic pupils in the north which Buhari and other northern leaders abandoned. Increased funding to almost 400 billion to education thereby setting the all time highest record. Reinvigorated the inspectorate oversight of schools leading to the revocation of some licenses from mushroom universities. Executed the landmark upgrade of university lecturers retirement age from 65 to70. This administration has been burdened with the Herculean task of addressing the rot in the land as a result of years of neglect by successive military administrations and policy summersaults by the administration of late President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua. The neglect has occasioned the need for total transformation which the present administration is carrying out despite the distraction of rabble rousers like Buhari and El-Rufai, who having failed to acquire political power legitimately have resorted to using scoundrels like kobojunkie and his team of scoundrels to tarnish the image of the administration and the Nation at large. My verdict for you is that Nigeria will outlive and outlast her detractors and you haters and your paymasters will be shamed. LONG LIVE NIGERIA. |
Kobojunkie: I am sure you can read. The @Post you responded to does not tell you any of what you have above. It simply tells you that Aig-Imoukhuede was in fact appointed LAST WEEK by the President, and the links included show that. The appointment of Aig Imokhuede to head the commitee is an open secret. What is being debated here is the assertion that he owns one of the indicted firms. The burden of proof lies with he who asserts. If you're indeed certain that ICE ENERGY or whatever is owned by AIG Imokhuede, then you have to prove it. Your ranting will only make sense if you prove this from credible sources other than premium news and the even more infamous Sahara reporters. |
"However, a source in the Presidency confirmed to our correspondent on Sunday that spirited efforts were being made by marketers to discredit the report"-Punch Newspapers. This is just a diversionary attempt by the marketers to try and discredit the Committee's report which they know cannot be manipulated. The source said, “The audit report of the Aig-Imoukhede committee is causing apprehension among oil marketers for obvious reasons. You know that after the Farouk Lawan committee submitted its report, a lot of marketers faulted it, saying the report was more political than a reflection of the true situation. I think it is fairly obvious that the Cabal will stop at nothing to give the committee a bad name like the proverbial dog in order to hang it. |
Kobojunkie: Why I share your caution, if you google this news, Premium times is NOT the only news outlet with a story on this appointment. The appointment happened last week, and was carried by most all media channels. And this new revelation is also not carried by only premiumtimes.Nothing in any of the links you provided indicates that AIG Imokhuede owns the said firm. The premium times story is only corroborated by Sahara reporters. The doubts about its credibility remain. |
How is it that a story as important as this was ignored by all the major Dailies and reported only by a phoney sounding online tabloid? I'll take this with a shovel load of salt till I see it from a more credible source. I don't think GEJ will make such a gaffe. |

jmaine: We might need to conduct a sting operation to get the correct answers to your legitimate questions . . . .There may be no need for a sting operation. W only need to ask. Who's on the side of truth? |
lacasa: When did buhari use sentiments anϑ religious undertone wen campaigning pls? When did Buhari not use religious sentiments? How many southern states did he visit for electioneering campaigns? Buhari's Nigeria is Nothern Nigeria. I can not fault his integrity but Buhari is a bigot and a religious fundamentalist. |

dedeike: you have made a profession out of confusing issues and spreading falsehood. To have a rethink, one must first be capable of thinking. That said, a rethink for kobojunkie is impossible. |
It is a ministerial Task Force so what if he has submitted it to the minister? What if....... |
GenBuhari: "The Abacha family house on Gidado street, GRA, Kano is a modest twin duplex located in a rather small compound. "Abacha never looted? God forgive you |
superior1: Laptop No 15, how u dey?It is rather sad that this is the only valid deduction you have been able to make from this post yet it is people like you that refer to someone as clueless. Even when the clue is put forward to you, you'll not be able to take it. ![]() |
Pataki: It is bleeding to the eyes to read your verbiage without paragraphs. There is no point in refuting your lies here.Even if the entire report of the Ribadu led ministerial committee is not yet out with it's final report, does anything stop the minister from acting on the information she may have received from him in the interim? Given the failure and high level of damning allegations that have emmanated from the attempt by the House of reps to carry out a comprehensive probe of the activities of players in the Nations oil industry, is it not only normal that the Executive take the proverbial bull by the horns and set in place machinery for the proper examination and overhauling of the petroleum sector. I think that the intentions of the government are noble and the integrity of the members can hardly be faulted, wouldnt it be nicer if we just watched and see things play out. |
Mcfemad: Gone are the days...How many of you remembered or used this?If you used this, you probably also ate Okin Biscuits and drank three top drink #goodolddays |
Akanbi_edu: LMAOI think it absurd beyond words that there are persons here who genuinely think that any serious minded person saddled with the hectic business of government will be idle enough to to devote time, resources and energy to join issues with the their uninformed rants on Nairaland or even consider employing people to do same. |
