benincitys:welcome to the club! i think it happens mostly with nigerian girlfriends, i dont know if its jealousy or complexity. whne i had mine they all disappeared too,but then i'm not really a 'crowd of friends' person, more like a lone ranger. i didnt feel it happenning it didnt change anything about me,infact when they all disappeared i somewhat became a happier person because now i could tell the real friends i had. |

i never knew mine , they were dead before i was even born. |
i really cant understand what all the trouble is about, one time i was there buying baby food, and some guys on the queue at the bakery were fighting ,it was hilarious ,they fought over who came first on the queue and who should be attended to all because of bread,i'm glad i dont have go 2ru allthat, all i do is throw all my recipee in my bread maker and go to bed ,wake up to the smell of freshly baked home made bread. as to the service and staff at the food section , its poor, really bad customer service relation. those shoprite staff need to be retrained. |
good day to you Dr Kathy, thanks for being helpful here, just one question , my cousin has an 8 month old baby boy and just discovered from a test 2days ago she was pregnant (cos she missed her period on the 21st). pls any advice on what to do as an alternative to abortion as the couple arent ready for the next child yet,and she's against abortion. |

my cleansing routine are 1.i use clarins cleansing gel at night (very effective in removing every trace of make up) 2. clarins cleasing milk after my bath in the morning, then i apply clinique moisturizer (the dry to oily skin type) 3. i use St Ives scrub once or twice a week,(its unbelievable how smooth my face gets after scrubing with it) and then apply rose water after drying with a clean towel.it makes my face supple and prevents it from looking all dried up from scrubbing. |
i've been using st Ives invigorating scrub for months but it does the job ,but not thoroughly,is this b'cos i use it once or twice a week? i have tiny black heads around my cheek bones and on the lines of lips, they arent that visible unless you look closely. i'll try the eden, though i hate to change my skin regimen because of fear of adverse effect. |
@fellybabe very useful tips you've posted here, quick question though; how do you get rid of black heads on the face without having to pick your face? |
@bigfather thats good ,once you engage them they never stop talking. |
i was in the gym ,and couldnt help listening to what the mothers around me were saying about what thier domestics had been doing to thier children ,and i mean really horrible stuffs and i thought God help the creature that does this to my own child/children. so everyone take note .have a relative/cousin around your kids your can trust. otherwise this is what the househelp will do to them, 1. they will drop you baby to the floor and seal thier lips with thier palm so you dont hear the baby cry.hence causing choking 2. they will use unhygienic kitchen utensils for your kids/baby, 3. they will never treat your kids like theirs, rather they will take out the anger they have for you on your kids especially when you're not there. 4. they will starve your kids/baby/toddler.and feed themselves more. 5. dont ever send your driver to pick up a toddler/baby from school or wherever without a second party (he or she may be a pervert and could do really disgusting things to your daughter/son in the car) 6. finally, dont let your kids out of your site for toolong ,teach them to free with you and tell you things ,especially things that happen around them when you weren't there.remember kids like to talk alot. |
what would you do if each time you have a delicious meal say twice a week you find your wife's or mom's hair strand in the meal she prepared? |
@Akinagirl sorry to hear that, my cousin had a a 7wk preg miscarriage last year, and it was her first baby too and she felt really downcasted , moody ,sad everything but happy until my mom said something to her that really changed everything this was what she told her. HE/SHE(the baby)was not ready to be concieved at that point in time and the baby was trying to give the parents time to be prepared for its arrival, since it was her first. she(my mom) also had 3 miscarriages in the space of 1 year before she had my brothers and i now my cousin has a 6month old baby boy who arrived miraculously like my mom had said. and is being welcomed into a beautiful home where he is loved by his parents. sometimes we think we're ready for kids but the truth is we're not. so take easy ,and be happy more pregnancies are on thier way ,i hope this helps. |
Hi everyone here are some tips for a light breakfast for weight watchers and also some tips for a full breakfast for those who dont mind packing up the calories. LIGHT BREAKFAST A. SMOOTHIE WITH TUNA SANDWICH (this can also be taken alone without the sandwich) for the smoothie 1. real fruits, any fruits (pawpaw, pieapple, apples, banana, strawberries, grapes, mango fruits, etc) washed and peeled 2.yoghurt 3.fresh milk (low fat or full cream) 4. ice cream (not compulsory it could replace fresh milk) 5. ice cubes throw all into the smoothie maker and blend for 10 secs or depending on the consistency you prefer Tuna sandwich 1. get 2 slices of bread , spread butter or jam 2. open a can of tuna into a bowl and mash with half spoon of soft butter 3.wash some lettuce and drain 4. spread the lettuce on one layer of slice bread then spread your mashed tuna and cover with the other slice cut into 2 equal triangles.and ready to eat HEAVY BREAKFAST This makes for a full breakfast on a table especially when you have friends over 1.sausages (grilled) 2. bacon 3.scrabbled eggs with french toast(best way to get a good french toast is to use either a griddle or oil spray) (break some eggs in a bowl add some cinnamon and beat properly with a fork, pour very little ,stage by stage into a flat dish and soak your slice of bread one by one each time you pour in ,make sure you toss the other side of the bread in too so it soaksmore eggs, then fry in the grddle or frying pan) 4. a glass of juice. |
not sure if this is a fashion mistake girls make or just the fact that they tend to be hypocritical, and i mean when girls start to tie wrapper or kaftan /boubou as your only descent way of looking good as soon as you get married or have kids, that really puts me off,you tend to see young girls dressed like thier grannies when they go out, just because you want appear descent. |
by the way ,nice pix of you epstitch. your makeup looks flawless. |
