@epstitch thanks for the tip,but really the unruly eyebrows are just the problem i have i tend to have the top end of my brows curving upwards hence making it hard for me to get them in the right shape like the ones in you have in the pix i guess i'll look for the brow gel to put them right, just that i have only 3 make up routine (powder, eyeliner and lip gloss) then i'm out the door. |
ever since i had a terrible tooth problem 7 years ago which led to my root canal treatment,i have never missed a day without brushing 2wice (a.m and p.m)it was a terrible experience and to be honest brushing every night has really helped. as for face cleansing ,i try to do it everynight but on average maybe 4 to 5 nights a week. |
anyone know how effective this product is on stretch marks?

just dont understand why someone would come on here and write such a thing. even God did not create heaven and earth in one day. i've always said it .,there is no safe or fast and easy way to get rid of fat or excess weight in anypart of you body. other than burning fat by working out always and watching your calorie intake. |

@dangel well well, the problem is most nigerian women/girls tend to lose it as soon as they get married and settled in with thier partner. there's a very nice way to get her to lose weight 1. you could buy her really nice dresses and tops of her previous size(maybe go clothes shopping ) and just keep them in her wardrobe then tell her you think they'll look really nice on her. i bet you anytime she opens her wardrobe and sees them she'll definately do something about her weightgain. 2. you could also lure her with gifts , you know ,, things you know she's been dying to have but on one condition she goes back to her size. then to the solution of getting rid of the fat and maintaining a descent weight. FIRST OF ALL BUY A BATHROOM SCALE (this will tell you when you're exceeding your ideal weight each time u step on it) 1. she should run 20 -30 mins 5 times a week ,seal her lips once it is 7:30pm.(food takes time to digest b4 bedtime) 2. do 10 mins aerobics ( she can find some workout tips online for tummy ,thighs , depending on where she's concentrating on loosing d fat). 3.avoid indulging in fattening foods , oils and junks,(3 times a month is fine, for eg, if you like ice creams , fizzy drinks , chocolate etc) finally get busy anywhere you are , try to do things around you, like house chores, or just walking.it burns calories. |
i'm really thinking of adopting sometime in future, i dont think i have a number yet 3 maybe 4, i'd love to have a big family, its really fun to have them around , little angels , and some little terrors too lol ha ha |
ok, here are some pics and tips. the high waist skirts and bottoms are back , but if you do not coordinate well with a perfect blouse or top you might just end up looking really funny in them. |
hmm, my genie in a bottle, perfect for day or night.

@Ivorytemi WELCOME TO MY WORLD, sometimes i try to ignore the fact that i'm tall and put them on anyway. they make you look smart and pretty, but on casual days i go for the flats they're great on a pair of shorts, capris, or even a mini skirt. my advice is forget what people say or think and put on whatever you feel looks cute on you even if its 4 inches high. |
@MC Usman try Nordica on norman williams ikoyi they used to have thier office at vgc estate ajah (water side) but moved to ikoyi recently. i know of a friend who used them when they were at vgc ,she was from a very , and i mean very wealthy family she didnt mind the cash , and she put to bed last year, baby boy. she had been married for close to 4 years without kids. |
i think the best thing to do is to get Nigerian drivers to go back to driving school, and get retrained. that way you'll get rid of bad drivers |
the funny thing is that ,these drivers go abroad and see the way people drive and obey traffic rules and road signs but they still get here and drive like lunatics on our roads , its really bad. even your average police man on the road doesnt know that you have to make way for traffic on a round about , and you dont ever stop on a round about, how ridiculous is that. |
@ikamefa thanks, i discovered that most protein foods works wonders on your hair, especially when growing it. egg white is just what you need for damaged hair, i have a long, full and dark hair , thanks to this hair recipe. |
but really man or woman , nigerians are really bad drivers , they dont adhere to road or traffic signs , they are sooooooooo IMPATIENT ! they drive into lanes without looking and without using thier lights, its really terrible they drive like they have an extra life kept at home or somewhere. one cant even take your eyes off the road for a sec, cos something will definately go wrong. anytime my friends or family get to nigeria , they cant believe what they see on the roads here, its crazy. drivers act like they are playing PLAYSTATION on our roads. |
daaahhh, guys guys guys , dont take away the one thing that keeps us going , I LOVE shopping. Everyday i step out of my house , i come home with something(s) new,it could be anything, i just love shopping , i dont even see it as therapy its just, hmm/, fun and exciting! |
so girls i'm thinking of changing my hair colour from black to brown with gold high lites but i need a professional colourist who can do it without me having to pick my hair on the floor due to breakage from not mixing the colours properly. prefferably on the island. thanks. |
try steaming your hair every 3 to 4 weeks using these home made items , it really worked for me when my hair was breaking 1. mix in 2 table spoons real mayonnaise (the one used in making salad dressings) if you dont like that use the one for they call HAIR MAYONAISE or something 2. 2 spoons of real honey 3.look for that virgin hair fertilizer and squeeze in a little 4.break in one placentyne liquid 5.add a good hair conditioner like perm repair or 911 6. local shea butter finally if you're bold enough try adding a little egg white ( you may have to rinse off thouroughly, say 3 times ,after steaming 'cos of the smell) mix together, apply to the scalp put on your shower cap and steam for 15 to 20 mins. then wash your hair and apply a conditioner , its important you apply a conditioner o your hair after washing with shampoo.try MOTIONS SALON HERBALS its in a green plastic bottle. my salonist says its a great conditioner , but follow the instructions on the bottle. The entire mixture is protein based protien from eggs , protien from mayonnaise which is made from eggs. |
hi everyone, i finally got convinced about changing my hair colour , can anyone pls give me a contact of a good hair colourist in V.I or lekki i'm thinking , brown with gold highlites. but you know, i need someone who'll get it right without having to destroy my hair in the process. |
its a no go area for me , if it aint broken , dont fix it. i've been teased about certain parts of my body, but i'm just loving it,because what i have is rare and i wouldnt change it for anything. well, about the boob region,i make the excess load disappear by adjusting the bra strap. |
