I thought this programme is voluntary? It should be a free service without pay na!!

What does voluntary work mean?
"1. a person who voluntarily offers himself or herself for a service or undertaking. 2. a person who performs a service willingly and without pay".
Politics › Re: DPR: Nigeria’s Oil Reserves Will Run Dry In 49 Years by Validated: 12:55am On Feb 21, 2020
It is too long. Can we drill everything in next 10 years and chop the money so that everybody go rest. All these quest for power is just to go and loot or drink the oil. The earlier fossil fuel as an economic resource becomes obsolete the better.

By the way, DPR is not forward looking ... rest of the world are looking to increase capacity on green energy, they are still thinking of another five decades to continue to depend on wasting and environmentally degrading resource.
Politics › Re: APC Urges Supreme Court To Reverse Lyon’s Sack by Validated: 9:16pm On Feb 20, 2020
The argumentAPC is relying on are very shaky. If you are saying that rlthe Deputy Governorship candidate remained disqualified per High Court judgement, you have thereby upheld the Supreme Court decision because you CANNOT contest governorship without a Deputy.
I was expecting them to argue that the disqualification of the deputy governor was wrong. This case is Dead on Arrival.
ONCE GOVERNORSHIP OR DEPUTY IS DISQUALIFIED, THE JOINT TICKET IS DEAD
Politics › Re: VIDEO: David Lyon Deputy Breaks Silence, Call Police To Investigate Allegations by Validated: 6:56pm On Feb 20, 2020
He was evasive on this press conference. Was expecting him to clarify how the names keep changing. For example for you gain admission into Secondary School, your Pry School certificate is the basis. Same applies to gain admission into University. I suspect he got involved in the scandal after his school certificate results were cancelled in the first secondary school he attended In Abonema in Rivers State).

A good investigation as to the name he enrolled with in his WAEC in Rivers where 5 subject were cancelled and the name on his WAEC obtained in Ogbia, in Bayelsa will expose this fraud.

Not this FG that cannot pay salary. I remembered that Ozekhome (SAN) was abducted sometime ago. He should first seek refund before you lawyers start fleecing innocent unlearned Nigerians with legal wild-goose chase.

What APC lawyers did was to get PDP to rrspond to their process without reading what was filed. By the way, they got thiers on 5th and responded on 17th.

Politics › Re: IMO: See The Magic Votes Supreme Court Used To Declare Uzodinma As Governor by Validated: 7:36am On Feb 18, 2020
The 7 Subprime Court Justices goofed big time. Even Mugabi and Gadaffi at their time were more sensible in manipulatingresults. Truth is these people NEVER expected the backlash from this fraud. They did it in Osun, went ahead to repeat in Ekiti. So they were boldened to push their luck in Imo.
Politics › IMO: Prepare For A Rerun Within 90 Days by Validated(op): 9:14pm On Feb 17, 2020
As the Supreme Court will be reviewing her judgement on Imo State governorship, it has been revealed to me that the following will play out:
1 The SC will set aside its ruling of January 24, 2020.
2. Hope Uzodinma certificate of return will be withdrawn
3. INEC to conduct a rerun elections in the 388 polling units in dispute.
4. The Speaker will be in office as acting governor for 90 days while INEC conduct the rerun.
The Elders have spoken.

Politics › Re: Even Supreme Court Misspells Disqualified Deputy Candidate's Name In Bayelsa by Validated:
The fraud in this whole thing smacks from the following:

Name change publication in Chronicle on July 2018 was supposed to correct all names but ended up creating more confusion.

Court Affidavit of correction in August 2018

Court Affidavits in September 2018

Notary public certification of name September 2018

Then he claimed that his surname changed because he got a nembe chieftancy titlehuh Who in nembe have you heard had a name change because he got a chieftancy titlehuh

All of above changes were made within 90 days (between July 30 to September 18, 2018), yet his form CF001 still had names not known to law as in above affidavits. Something is fishy, which he tries to hide, hence all these sudden changes and affidavits. Only a thief runs when noone is chasing him. The PDP team know this guy as he was one of them ... they know his falsehood. His real surname is EREMIENYO. Being that he is contesting for Deputy Governorship, he made attempt to rectify his falsehood, hence he tried to cover this by claiming it came from being given a chieftancy title ... what a lame excuse!!!

By the way, it is a criminal offence to dispose to an oath FALSELY, which is what this man did for about FOUR times. His case should serve as deterrent to all those politicians who think that they can just present false information to the public.. The Supreme Court should stand by her decision and not bother tinkering with this FALSEHOOD! Fraud need to be punished severely!

Since we are in the season of rreview, PDP and Adeleke should also ask for review of his case in Osun State. Basing his loss on the absence of lead justice at the lower court is simple technicality tha should be corrected.

Politics › Re: Bayelsa: What Manner Of Justice: Let's Discuss by Validated: 6:53am On Feb 16, 2020
Judeerons32:
I would want us to reason this. As has been brought to notice still on this Bayelsa issue that Timi Alaibe still has a case challenging the Primaries of the newly sworn in governor and also that the new deputy has a certificate case pending. If these case gets to the supreme court and the ruling is against the governor or deputy what then happens?
Will INEC and the supreme court sustain their wasted vote theory and the next person takes over?
Because this will mean about 3K people will have elected a governor for Bayelsa.Because the Apc and Pdp account for about 497k out of 499K votes.
My Opinion is that on issues like this a rerun should be ordered because the people should not be punished for things not in their control rather only the party which should be bared from a rerun. To me that is justice to the people.
What do you think?
All pre-election cases not determined within 180 days are statute-barred and waste of time.
