Earlier today some zbs were jubilating over suspected discovery of oil in the North East. Well just to let you know facts behind the figures.
If at current rate Nigeria produces average of 2m barrels a day, North East oil will most likely last for 1 and half years. That is assuming zero wastes. Except the minister meant to say 100 billion barrels. What they found is not just economical enough to create the hullabaloo.

Let me also drop this off. Armed robbers have now gone digital. They now have devices to check if a car has tracker and they disable it. In fact, the first thing they do now is to point a gun to your head and ask you about the tracker before disabling it. When they stole my pastor's car, they first gave him a dirty slap in front of his wife before zooming off with the car. This happened at eleme junction here in Port Harcourt.

On the other hand, Nigerian insurance companies are too fraudulent, they're your friend as long as you keep paying your premiums but as soon as you come to make claims for payments, you become their enemy.

Insurance in Nigeria is FRAUD. I insured my car and later had an accident that involved Kekenapep. I called my insurance and was shocked to discover the policy does not cover ANYTHING. The broker said what they do is give you document to avoid police harassment. Just imagine!! In 2017 I lost my mother and before then had paid premium for 4 years. The insurance company came up with issue of improper documentation at commencement, yet they were collecting premium on an improperly documented policy. The document for a policy sold to me by their own appointed agent. Stupid as they were, they sent me a demand notice in the new year for my mother that died the previous year without fulfilling their obligation. Insurance in Nigeria is a BIG SCAM. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON INSURANCE IN NIGERIA.

At the time Jesus was arrested, Peter was armed and indeed used it until Jesus stopped him. Christianity does not mean becoming weakling and defenseless. Yes, we must pray ... but faith without work (self-defense) is dead!!!

In any case, her appointment was a call to service and NOT an entitlement. She was appointed and if found to no longer serve national interest, can be removed, which was what happened.

On Tuesday, February 4, US President Donald Trump presented the State of the Union address to Americans. Nigeria like the US practice the same presidential system of government.
My ask is when will President Buhari present the State of The ~~Union~~ Almagamation Address? The president should update Nigerians on developments in Nigeria. We deserve to hear from him his achievements, plans, etc. Nigerians need to be aware of reforms, challenges and prospects. Do you not agree?

On the contrary, INEC should set standards for political associations to meet before being registered. Secondly, State Electoral commissions should be disbanded. LG Chairmanship elections should instead be conducted by INEC on same day as Governorship, while Councilliorship and House of Assembly are held same day. INEC should restrict the associations to LG level, with the condition to win atleast 10 LG council seats to be registered.

Another point of importance is to invoke the relevant sections of electoral and constitutional provision making defections ILLEGAL. There should be "DECAMP AND LOSE YOUR SEAT" enforcement.

With the South-West launching Amotekun, there is the need for the South-South to quickly launch their own security outfit, failing which all the criminals from the SW will flood the South-South. This to me is far beyond political parties. I am hereby suggesting that the security outfit be code named Operation BRACED . The acronym BRACED is derived from the first letters of Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa-Ibom, CrossRivers, Edo and Delta.
It is now more important than ever before that the SS governors create a security outfit that will help reduce kidnapping, raping, extortion, etc to the barest minimum. Noone state can do it alone and the SW model should be an example.
