Obviously, Ize-Iyamu did not seek God's fsce before following Oshomole blindly. As it stands except SupremeCourt rules beforr June 27, APC may go into Edo elections without an authentic candidate. PDP wins again without a fight.

This is the scenario, except death, both Atiku and Tinubu may contest in 2023. For PDP to return to power, Atiku holds the aces. One would only suggest that the PDP leadership insist on a single term for Atiku. For me, that should balance the North and South years in democratic Nigeria considering the fact that Yardua' years were completed by GEJ. If the PDP put their house in order, a reimmergence of ATIKU-OBI or any other SE/SS running mate is sure to fly.
Now to APC, Tinubu holds the party structure in most states in the SW and may be some part of North in alliance with some associates. The big challenge that Tinubu may face is running mate. Who is there in the North to balance the religious equation? Except APC want to try a Muslim-muslim ticket in 2023. That is surely a DEATH sentence. It worked in 1993, but 30 years down the line, the forces of religion have dealt devastating blows to the structure of religious cohesion in Nigeria. Execept we deceive ourselves, religion now MATTERS.
Again, how will SS and SW view a Tinubu candidacy even if it is a Southern candidacy? One of, you betrayed ne in 2015. So it is my turn for a pound of flesh. It is on record that SE and SS wholeheartedly supported OBJ for 8 years, same gesture extended to MKO in 1993. Unfortunately, same cannot be said of the SW. In 2014, SW under ACN were rooting for a Northerner, although they sold him off on the last day. It would be recalled that only Ogbeni Aregbe that refused to cash out of the sellout. Secondly, SW enthroned PMB to the detriment of SS and the SW have held the office of VP for another 8 years, so seeking to hold office for another 8 years without consideration of other regions in the south would amount to GREED!
In my opinion, the South would have to wait till 2027 except SS or SE candidates emerge from APC and PDP.
