yommyuk:People train and prepare for war, adulthood and life outside school because those 3 things are real. They are not hear say. Your method of analogy makes me wanna loose hope in Nigeria's potential. All the stuffs you claim you saw are LIES.Stop telling lies for God.Ok? You should better say you heard people saying it OR you saw something and those uneducated explanations were given to you. What i figure out is that once you don't understand something, you do not seek a real objective explanation to it.You just quickly push it to the spiritual. Can Nigeria ever make economic progress with that? |
@alexleo, The thread https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-445085.0.html was not a prayer as you are now claiming. It is something you did to prove the power of your God.Somehow, you and your God lost. Now you have resolved to lying on your own behalf or on behalf of your God.Shame on you both. REPENT alexleo. |
You will hear the predictions after the world cup finals especially from TBJ guys. BTW, noetic, your prediction looks like a typical TBJ's. LOL |
This thread is supposed to be about how to protect yourself from spiritual attack. I guess it is applicable only to those who can experience in it. Why should i spend time learning how to protect myself from something that can never happen to me since it doesn't exist. If anyone on NL feels spiritual attack is real, let him share his experience with us. |
toba:Pascal Wager would have made a lot of sense but it's not really as simple as that in practice. It's not just about believing in God.It's about believing in a particular version of God. There are so many versions of God out there and each person says "You are doomed if you do not believe in my particular version of God". |
^^^ You opened a thread with a firm believe that anybody who dares your version of God will go blind. It turned out to be that you were just being delusional. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-445085.0.html Now this is another s-h-i-t from you. REPENT alexleo. |
saintbajar:It is a confirmed semi-scam. Whatever your qualification, you will be invited for and interview during which you will be asked to pay for posting you to the company that needs your service. It will then turn out that you won't get the job usually because you are not qualified or the company does not exist or they do not need your service for now. There are quite a number of such semi-scams. They key is that you must never pay anybody for job search/placement promises. Ester Breakthrough is a similar organization in the same semi-scam recruiting business. Beware !!! |
Guys(Mudley313 and Toba),please don't derail this thread. You are attacking each other. |
Aero Dept:Just see all the grammatical blunders in bold. That is not likely to come from the HRM of a respectable company. I smell scam too. BEWWWWARRRRRE !!!! |
@all those whose "believe" in the so called spiritual attacks, You are free to "believe" whatever but if you come stating that it is a fact that others must accept, that's when i start my debate and request for objectivity. You are free to "believe" that incredible hulk is a real life character and look forward to his saving grace but please don't stuff it down the throat of other people. They are not being stupid for asking for substantiation. Spiritual attack? I have never experienced it. I am not experiencing it. I will never experience it. Because it is pure myth/fantasy. Must you always invent something to be scared of? |
^^^ all ifa stuffs are not objective and can not help grow a society. |
We must note that pastor Ashimolowo was only giving his personal opinion. TBJ doesnt have to do his business the way Ashimolowo does his. |
Yefet:It is not everybody that shares your fears. |
@poster, since you are damn so sure of it why not sell all your assets and wire me all the money in your bank account. ![]() |
@$poOne, Analysis is for smart grown ups even with opposing views. Go suck your pacifier boy ! |
@yommyuk, In case you are still wondering why i call the bible inconsistent with 21st century method of thinking, try to reconcile Mathew's account of Jesus' genealogy with Luke's account. God bless you. |
yommyuk:@yommyuk, stop quoting a book that has been shown to be inconsistent with 21st century methods of thinking. Tell me about a real objective observation or analysis that you know of. |
How i wish it is as simple as government just deploying forces to tackle the criminals but it goes far beyond that.Crime rates and magnitudes are tied to the value system of the society. We must look in the direction of quantitative analysis in order to achieve anything tangible. But right now analyzing things quantitatively is still not part of our culture. We have a long way to go. |
Sagamite:@sagamite, I really admire your insight on this topic. Our people need to learn that anything good and enduring must be based on a system, not on a person. Undoubtedly,Tinubu built a system. It is such a system that brought in a credible person like Fashola to be governor. If Tinubu followed what he met on ground then an efficient person like Fashola would never have become governor. LASTMA,LAWMA,emphasis on internally generated revenue, etc were all systems that Tinubu built not just the names but the method and process of operation of all those things.Common sense tells us all that it takes a longer time to conceive, design and build the first car than to improve the efficiency of subsequent cars. Fashola is merely improving the efficiency of the system that was already well built and so far he has done very well. If Oshiomole is building a system then it will take some time for you to see real tangible stuffs on ground. We only need to see if he is building a system or he is just a talker. |
Bluetooth, you really don't want to be cursed by the Ooni of Ife or Oba of Benin, these Obas have the same very powerful ancestries. Just a warning to mere mortal! Before the crusaders and jihadists, there was peace and tranquility in the Edo and Yoruba lands - ever wonder why? There's quite a bit about the traditional oracles of these Obas that's inexplicable by science, and will ever be so. Just a warning to the wise.
History does not agree with you.May be you are trying to re-write history. Kingdoms in Yorubaland (Benin Inclusive)fought several wars with one another even long b4 any foreign intervention. Back to the original topic. Sagamite:Very Brilliant Post. |
The girl was just 10 and did not know anything and i guess the early touches made her body develop more than usual. Her mum should be cained for not being able to notice the changes and querry her child. Shame to such families
I guess it's a broken/unstable home. |
Really,we can not give our opinion of what should be done to him. What does our constitution say about such an act?Lawyers in the house ? |
nakoks:Do the statistics brother.Stop living in denial. We can achieve a lot in this country if we learn to "see" the negatives in our value system and work toward correcting them for the better good of all. Another typical denial is this: "most of the beggars you see are actually not from the north, they come from as far as west, east,Niger and Chad Republics".DENIAL WONT HELP US!!! |
^^ Validator, I appreciate your unbiased view to the truth. However, for the records, I remember that some months ago, millitants ravaged streets of Yenegoa, Bayelsa State in protest for "unpaid salaries". At least, I was in Bayelsa when these things happened. During that period, several shops were looted, banks were raided and robbed in broad-daylight. THE RATIONALE: I still maintain that crime happens everywhere, it has nothing to do with the culture of the people. This is reason we have Governments to curb the menace of criminals in our cities. The governments are to blame - not the people. It happens everywhere, brother! .NET
It's about rate and magnitude. There are exam malpractices in the US but is the rate and magnitude like in Nigeria? Isn't it about the culture? There are religious crises everywhere in Nigeria but it definitely has higher rate and magnitude in the North.Isn't it about the culture? |
Spiritual attack does not exist. Stop distributing your fears to other ignorant people. |
jmoore:Today is Thursday. Can you briefly tell me the ones you have seen since Monday this week?since you are so sure they are happening everyday. |
By making unfair allusions to the cultures of a people, I think you are being tribalistic, and nobody has to see "IT" the way you do. I have witnessed alarming rates of crimes in other parts of the country such as Benin, Port Harcourt and even Lagos. Those had nothing to do with the culture of the people. It was just crime.
@.NET, I get your point.I am sorry if it was interpreted as tribalism. That NOT my intention. Again,it is not a national problem. Do not be deceived. Crime is everywhere in the country. The rate and magnitude is what makes Eastern Nigeria so unsafe. Has it ever happened anywhere in Nigeria that all banks in a town close shop for a few days because of fear of robbery. That is a normal thing in the east. Other parts of the countries have their problems too and like the East are also in denial. They say the same thing. "It's a national problem". |
I am only pointing out how wrong your analogy is. Can you at will demonstrate the existence of God just like oxygen and air as in your analogy. jmoore:Are you talking of the miracles on TV? Furthermore, miracles don't prove anything about God. |
Air and oxygen can at will be demonstrated to exist but not God. |
Because each religion claims to be the only true religion and that you should be intolerant of other religions because they are false and will cause you and your people to derail. |
VALIDATOR: Passie:Please ask a sensible person to explain it to you. |
