A man allegedly caught with more than 70 dead babies has been arrested in Nigeria, police said Thursday, as the suspect claimed he was employed to bury them but was not given enough money to do so.

“We are investigating the incident and we are leaving no stone unturned in our effort to unravel the incident,” Lagos police spokesman Frank Mba told AFP. He was allegedly in possession of bags carrying the dead babies and was arrested in Lagos, Nigeria’s economic capital.

The suspect said on local television he was employed by Lagos University Teaching Hospital to take the corpses away for burial in a cemetery. He said that since he could not pay the fees being demanded at the cemetery, he decided to bury the corpses secretly in the woods.

“I decided to go and bury them in a bush but I ran out of luck,” he said.

A number of workers from the respected hospital have been taken in for questioning, said Mba, without providing further details. A senior hospital official told reporters the incident was “embarrassing” and pledged to investigate.

You dont understand the genesis of the matter, but sirjohn does. I wasnt talking about miracles through pastor chris but through his children and his children children.

Pastor chris's miracles are verifiable. and they wont be on air if they have not been verified. We have a new programme "Atmsphere of  faith" which NBC had verified the testimonies. Remember thsame NBC banned miracles on Nigerian TV stations. For them to allow healing testimonies to be aired in Atmosphere of Faith. It was verified and proven authentic. If not NBC wont waste time to slam their hammer.

X-ray was not done initially I enquired how they got to know about the hole, They said that was what the doctor said. So I didnt bother to do an xtray again since there was none done before. The child is healed , walking and running arround. I can give you the woman's number . You can hear her testimony. I didnt bother raising the issue with you because the proof i relied on wasnt there. We record healings and miracles weekly in many of our churches.

There is another one today of of leg ulcer of two years. I will confirm the medical record if there is any. I will send the guy's number and tommorow you can interview him.

I forgot. Some of you talk of Jews as if you talk of Aboriginals. Jews were not Jews until Jacob and their worship of God cannot be likened to idol worship for they had already seen the futility in that. As far as I'm concerned, when one has an abstract notion of a being that is all-powerful and beyond and doesn't liken it to an object or man, this concept is God. It matters not what you call Him or how you came about this concept. So in essence the reason why Jews are Jews is because they believe in one God and nothing else. I'm sorry but I have to say this is just semantics. You cannot judge Hebrew by English lexis and structural terms. You may be correct but there's no basis for comparison moreso, this is a language that existed before reading and writing was common.

Validator has a valid point. But if man's perception of God is always subjective, does that not mean it would be impossible to ever really know Him then?

Pastor AIO made a point also that I find very cool. It's really worthy of note that the Yoruba God is as such and that is why a Yoruba Muslim or Christian has no trouble substituting Olodumare for Jesus or Allah as the case may be

though there are yoruba stories that involve eledumare, in fact yoruba try to refrain from giving him an image.  He has no shrines, no idols, no representations and is not interacted with in a ritualistic way, whereas the lesser orisha have their shrines, images, rites and rituals.
