I hereby announce my change of profession from a Safety Manager to an Astronaut. I want to be the first to land on that new found planet of diamonds. Am doing this for Nigeria, my country which i so much love. Am i sounding like a politician now? ![]() At least Neil Armstrong has made America proud by being the first on the moon. I want to serve my country in this capacity too. Please accept my most humble request. Thanks ![]() |
jadakiss213: why wouldn't he? Is that figure not reasonable enough for all MDA's under the PresidencyU mean he's under the presidency, no wonder! I should have known better. Hope i got ur line of tot? |
Chuksaluta: Ignorant people always come to nairaland to speak thrash. Once the first poster has an opinion, others seems to follow blindly. If the half of the 650million is used for maintenance and the other half for fuelling, it means that 325million for diesel per year, which is equivalent to about 890,000 per day. Which amounts to about 8500 litres of diesel per day for all federal generators. Let's try and be objective for once.We are trying to be objective, well at least i am. ![]() I have noticed that the FGs' budget for generating sets is lower this year which is a good thing. Hope they can continue like this while channeling more funds into power generation by PHCN. U simply can't blame Nigerians that share a different view, cos everyone is well aware of how spend thrift our FG is, and it bothers us. Everyone can't see the same thing, so don't expect them to see exactly what u see. |
greaterlove: Just N654m for all the federal government agencies all over the country and you guys are complaining? I can't believe some guys on nairaland. Go to the nearest 3star hotel in your area and ask them how much they budget for powering their generator. For my office alone I used to spend as much as 300k on fuel yearly until recently that it has drastically reduced. This to me is not an issue it should be applauded that some agencies are even getting less than N2m to fuel their generators nationwide.U know, u're right. At least they are budgeting lower for generators this year, compared to last year and, i hope that trend continues in good faith. Remind me again, how much of the budget went into electricity generation by PHCN and not generator sets? We are burning so much on generating sets. Nigerians deserve more. |
prettyify:GEJ and his goons havent got brains for thinking, but for mass stealing. Point of correction! Upon that, GEJ is still a dull thief. |
damola57: This people will not stop stealing. How will nepa, sorry phcn, will ever see the light of the day when some vandals are there chopping from generators sales and maintenance. Let jona chop wetin he wan chop. As for me, everybody don tire. We are waiting for him to finish his term with his army of thieves and vandals. If he decide to come again through election, it go RED. Nobody voted for PDP but him during election. But he don Bleep up.Have u watched the movie, "PRINCE OF THIEVES"? Well, GEJ is the new prince of thieves . This is just season 1, and i think the season ends in 8, or is it 9 again. ![]() |
Trust Billyonaire to come up here and rant his usual $h!7 in support of the presidency. |
ubaobi: yeah! U re d only oneUbaobi, u're not the only one trying to make sense outta Billyonaires' nonsense. The guy is an overgrown buff. |
knotty: Boko haram has claimed responsibility for Super Eagle' victory.Funnyman! |
buchibabe: Eyaa!!! My prayer too. I love twins. Are u a fine babe? then come-on over and lay all ur burden (UR PUNNY) on me (MY SCHLONG) and i shall give u twins. ![]() |

Stromae: FALSE NEWS! THIS IS A VERY OLD VIDEO. I HAVE HAD IT ON MY PC SINCE LAST YEAR!!!Please we need proof that this is false& old news. I want to believe u, but i need proof. |
pDude: Nigeria na wa o.Our leaders are from out of our stock. "Birds of a feather, flock together!". Am not surprised this is happening again, but very angry Nigerians still haven't learnt anything. ![]() |
I know this can be in no other place than the North. Pedophiles! ![]() |
mimima: Am doing it and i dont regret doing it.So that i will know when my things becomes another person's kiniIts natural to ladies. So am not surprised. |
ice_fish: I feel d fact dat she slept wit ha best friend s hubby is horrible being drunk isn't a tenable excuse. 1 of d numerous reasons sum of us do nt kip female friendsGirl, when u get married, cos i dont think u are yet, try getting high and stay close to a man u've always admired, other than ur husband. Lets see how it goes. Pls dont take my advice o. Sweetie, its not as easy as u think. DRINK RESPONSIBLY! or AVOID ALCOHOL. |
Ariyke: U av to confess and ask for her forgiveness even if she doesnt forgive u then u knw u av cleared ur conscience.Don't u think confessing to the woman will tear her marriage apart? just asking. ![]() |
andyanders: What you did is wrong and I think approaching the lady will break up the marriage and you will be responsible and will not be forgiven. I think you should go for deliverance and confess your sin and ask the guy to go away from you.The prophet of God will advise you on steps to take to restore peace to yourself and also for you to know God's opinion.Synagogue wetin? Sister no go o! |
247naijagossip: A reader of our blog needs your advice....Please read carefully!!!Girl, its a pity and it was bound to happen once ur guard was down. U find the man attractive, and all the hidden fantasies u were habouring about him, only surfaced due to the drinking drama. Am an attractive married man, the kind you would call a Ladies-man and i fell into Adultery, without even knowing it. I never thought it would happen to me, never thought i would cheat on my precious wife. When it did happen, i almost killed myself with self-pity. But i went for confession as a Christian, called the Priest that officiated my wedding and confessed to him, he counselled me over the phone. The next day being a Sunday, for the first time in my life, i cried heavily while confessing my sins to God, and after crying, i felt so light and much, much better. I made a solemn vow never to re-visit Adultery again. I also browsed, and got some materials on "How to avoid Adultery", "How to forgive myself". Sister, it was a mistake and, good you realize this. Confess to God, forgive yourself and try to do everything right to avoid Adultery. Vow, to God and urself, never to be caught-up in such mess again. Most of all, avoid heavy drinking cos ur guard will be compromised. Anyone can fall into the sin of fornication, once his/ her guard is down. Heavy drinking led me to mine. Remember, the spirit is willing, but the body is weak. Lastly Sis, "DRINK RESPONSIBLY!". Good luck! |
Since Sydney 2000? mehn, hope say these Naija guyz never fling their medals o? |
igbo2011: Barack Obama is half Kenyan but he does NOT serve the interests of Africa. He funded the rebels who started the black genocide in Libya. He kills Somalians with drones even hough the are famine struck. He supported Joseph Kabila an illeginamate Presdient in the Congo. He helped France overhrow Laurent Gbagbo and insall a puppet Outtara. He sent "advisor" to search for Kony last year. He will bring hell to Africa under AFRICOM. Mi Romney is no beter. They will both be the same ol imperialists.Guy, let me ask u, why are u taking Panadol for someone else' headache? Obama is not Africas' problem but Her senseless, heartless and what have u, leaders. If u feel so bad about Obama, then go take the reigns of govt. in the US and don't come here making noise. U dey disgrace us o. |
DMainMan: u c y Sharia is gud. if it were to b in a sharia state, d worst de would av done is to cut dere hand and that is if they are guilty with witness. But in a lawless christian dominated state, look at what happened. This is a proof of barbarity, violence, hatred, avarice and evil mongering among non muslims. u guys are bloody, scallywag confirmed terrorists infidels killed your fellow christian uniport students,LOOK WHAT THE CAT DRAGGED IN! WHO'S THIS @SS (FU)CKER? JUST SHUT UR CATTLE-LIKE @SSHOLE, PRI[CK]. ![]() |
Goldieluks: They are all useless, both GEJ and all other Nigerian leaders.Yeah, u re right. But almost all African leaders are the same and the African constitution encourages our leaders being heartless. I tell u sometimes Nigeria seems like a hopeless situation, but what can we do but to keep fighting for a better society for the younger generation. It'll happen one day, but when? |
jude33084: Even τhe Gov of River state did not address τhe state Őᵑ τhe issue because Ť☺ him Wђɑ̤̥̈̊† Aluu community did is trivialBirds of a feather, flock together. GEJ, Rotimi, T.A. Orji, u name it all irresponsible PDP buffs. Fashola of the ACN would have made a speech sharpishly. |
Goldieluks: Me neither, that man is nothing but a puppet.GEJs' style is the kinda $h!7 Nigerians have been made to contend with. Some Buhari supporters somehow saw this weakness in him in the first place, and they were right not to want him on the saddle. |
Goldieluks: How come an ikwere chief bears a muslim title ' alhaji'?? Like seriously?? I hope they are not thinking of sending him to jail, because that would be an abomination. The mental I.mbecile along side his boys who carried out the killings, recording and the eyewitnesses should all be hanged. And there should be a written constitution on how to put and end to this useless jungle justice of a thing. And anyone found wanting should be executed.Seriously Sis, does GEJ seem like he's in control? Am asking, cos i don't think he is. |
Good, the fv-uking Chief Alhaji (what a combination) has murdered sleep, he and his community shall know no sleep again. |
chucky234: Wetin come concern BBC for this matter na,shey amebo no dey tire dem. Abeg make dem leave dis matter for us jare.Guy if we are going to get to a meaningful end of this matter, we need to involve the international community. Don't u trust Nigerian govt and people again, we are good at sweeping sensitive issues under the rug. |
Okija_juju: You are right!! When BUHARI was in power, civilians could never brutalize civilians.. It was the sole jurisdiction of the Military to brutalize and kill civilians.. We hear..Must u be sarcastic at every opportunity? |
This is so wicked and unfortunate of the govt. Why disrupt the already disrupted school calender and, even going to the extent of chasing the final year students home. I have a dependant in ABSU, and i know how we had to run around to pay her insanely hicked-up final year school fees. Now the money is paid and now this, this is so UNFORTUNATE. |
vivacious vivi: No so called man should ever ever lay hands on a woman. Else, he is nothing short of d lowest form of animal! That said, Shame on them both!!!Madam Vivi, the best way to bring up ur girls is to teach them to control their tempers and mouths, or else guys (either their classmates, schoolmates or anywhere) might beat them up and, neither will u be there to save them. Not everyone has a sound upbringing. That'll be the best legacy to give ur girls. |
JallowBah: I find it more irritating with peope I dont even know trying to act a boss on what people can and can not wear.Girl, u get me so wrong. Its not a matter of what people can wear or not wear, but its a matter of, if u must wear cloths, pls wear it decently. Why do u think movies come with ratings? Answer: cos obscenity does not appeal to everyone. Note, we ain't talking of ladies wearing trousers or not here. |
