Johnchrix:They are heartless bro, real talk! I really need to go dust off my other skills cause I had almost abandoned them, but it’s not worth it. I will definitely persevere by Gods grace in learning new skills, cause sometimes, you reach a point while learning new stuff that it all seems soo complex. Maybe if I haven’t been blocked in the near future, I will do this on the side for money for chin chin or something. One month I grossed 110k, and when I did the math, my take home was like under 50k. Sometimes I try to close my eyes to the math and just drive, but the math doesn’t lie, after you remove 25.6% commission and petrol. As they say, “Men lie, Women lie, Numbers don’t.” |
ncnerio:Even 600 naira trips, they still take their 25% That’s why you will drive and drive, yet you can’t even afford to put tyre on the car. I’m wondering if all these platforms aren’t demonic in a way to suck the life out of our cars while making money in the process. |
I can’t drive on these platforms anymore, it’s taking my sanity, plus Bolt will soon block me sef so I might as well go out with a bang! It’s funny you don’t get compensated for trips were you drive and passenger cancels, instead you get points deducted. Indriver is even worse, some passengers will stop picking their phone. I’d like to say it has been fun, but it hasn’t, and my car has been through so much. Then the riders that treat you like dirt, as if they own the car. Spits... Drivers are trying men, no lie! Let’s not forget the traffic, then having to pick someone in traffic, then they cancel, chai! You’d almost run mad, God forbid.
|
Even in 2027, 2031, 2035... They will still be telling you that if you vote for so and so, they will provide you with electricity. I wonder when Nigerians will get tired. |
immortalcrown:It doesn’t have to be a youth, but definitely not someone that is too old. One of the most important things is that we don’t recycle failed politicians. |
Asking for a friend ![]() Will your hands get leprosy or something if you don’t cast vote for either of those two parties. I don’t want to wail here, we all know our issues, but what bugs me is the fact that people haven’t learnt lessons. I even heard that Tinubu advocate guy is trying to relocate to Canada, chai!! They will tell you that you are wasting your vote by voting for a relatively unknown good person, but then what do you call voting for the popular demons? That one is not a waste ba? I don’t understand you Nigerians at allllll!!!!!!!! If you can make BBN guys and gals famous then you can also make a no name person a president. Look at the way Americans rallied round Trump, someone that had never even been councilor before. Please don’t tell me about American parties because we know they are based on ideologies. You’d hardly hear them cross carpeting unless it coincides with a change of ones beliefs. Unlike here were they are APC today, PDP tomorrow, then back to APC; shameless!! Why do we rush to support bad things en mass? Remember MMM? For every one person that tried to enlighten the masses then of the MMM scam, it seemed you had 100 people supporting the scam, screaming “GET HELP”, lol They even sang a song telling people warning them to mind their business, here is the very funny song below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EI4J1gP2gHs Anyways, I pray we get sense this time around by Gods grace, amen! |
Czario:Why can’t we vote for Sowore? Oya, let the excuses pour in or why we can’t vote for him but must support a criminal from APC or PDP |
I am tired as well, but it’s like they jazzed Nigerians. They will tell you to choose lesser of two evils, sigh ![]() Nigerians? Let’s manage Buhari na, let’s manage Tinubu na, let’s manage Atiku na... I’m tired already even typing this shit... |
They are already robbing people? This reminds me of one incident I had at night on lekki epe expressway. I was behind a petrol tanker that caught fire, but I didn’t know it was the tanker since I was looking down adjusting my radio before looking back up and seeing this huuuge inferno. I tried to reverse but I couldn’t, so I abandoned my car and ran back thinking it was boko haram or something. After about 10 minutes I saw other cars reversing and driving one way since a path had now been created so I ran back to my car so as to rescue it. Omo that’s how agberos everywhere shouting, bla bla bla, only God know what the ediots were saying. See them about to drag me for my car. If you see the way I started and zoomed off ehn, you go fear. I was like in the midst of this chaos you want to extort me? Stand in front of my car whether I won’t run you over, mudafvkers!!! How black people turn small chaos into looting and robbing is just soo shameful. |
WATCHOVER:Bros na wa for you oh. How is it coin’s fault that it is no longer useful in Nigeria? Chai! Don’t you think it’s the economy over the years that made it useless? Now you want to force Mr. Coin back by fire by force, when it doesn’t have any place left in society? What is 5 naira to dollars? That is like just one cent, 5 whole naira is just 1 cent or lower actually? So how much is 1 naira in dollar, that is like 1 cent divided by 5, chai!!!! Chai chai chai!! So what is 50 kobo to dollar, that is like 0.08 cents. I’m sure it would take more money sef than that 0.08 cents to make one 50 kobo coin. Trust me, coins will make a comeback when it is economically viable, and not before. Imagine if inflation gets so bad that bread becomes 1 million naira, would you still be supporting 1naira coins? At that point, what really is the point? So you will carry 2 million 50 kobo coins to go buy one loaf of bread? Let’s be real! In Countries with strong economy’s, coins have value. I could buy a cheeseburger for 90 cents for example, pay one dollar and I would want my 10 cents change because it’s like 10% of the product I purchased. Juxtapose that with buying something here for 449 naira and paying 500. I would gladly take the 50 naira change and tell you to keep the one naira if you don’t have it, cause it’s not even up to 0.3% of an already low cost product. |
Terrence99:Why are you so interested in my tears? Is that how you go, day after day, looking for who to devour? Looking for who to shed tears? Even if I shed tears because there is no electricity and our country is sliding into the abyss, God will wipe away my tears bro. |
Kloppo:Sigh, you are not alone bro! I can neither compute nor comprehend the magnitude of stupidity possessed by Nigerians at large. |
Oh Nigeria, you truly are a shameless entity. Not only are you not even recognized on the world stage, but every day you make moves to cripple your own people. The tale of the black man is really sad. |
Terrence99:Lol, real tears men. What about you and your family though? Are you guys somehow immune from all the power cuts and bad economy? Will you also celebrate the tears of your children? I wonder! |
When they say that we have one of the lowest IQs in the world, some get annoyed, but we see it on a daily basis.
|
Most of those guys up there have electricity with probably big gens in their houses and they don’t care about the price of diesel, even if it reaches N5,000. Yet the Nigerians that have been suffering IMMENSELY from power cuts and low income are meant to blindly follow these guys? I know how I have suffered with no power these last few weeks on top of the regular suffering of the country. At one point I almost broke down and cried. Nigeria and Nigerians will not steal my joy in Jesus name. |
bluefilm:Well I did preface my statement by saying I am no economist. However, the way you just dismissed my concern on medical tourism is quite callous, no? Besides the economy issue, isn’t is a security risk to have the number one citizen being sliced open by foreigners while unconscious on foreign soil? That alone is a red flag and a very big one at that. As it relates to the economy though, so you don’t believe that maybe, if a president could fix the hospitals here to such a high standard deemed fit for himself, it would attract medical tourism into the country? Other countries trooping in with foreign currency to use our facilities, I believe, would be a plus for our economy, not so? Or maybe I’m wrong? Or maybe you can’t even fathom a Nigeria with a good medical system. You talked about food prices, but it was under the watch of this president that we started hearing the phrase, “Herder - Farmer clashes”. I don’t think I had ever heard that phrase before Buhari became the president of Nigeria. Why claim on one hand that the herders are from other countries in front of the then USA President, Donald Trump, while on the other hand be willing to cede large portions of land to the same foreigners you claimed are responsible for the clashes as a way to end the clashes. Doesn’t make sense, and I’m sure it didn’t contribute to a boost in farm produce either with the prolonged crisis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4Cn47ePFAU As for Fuel, this same man was so ignorant of the ongoings in the oil sector that he boldly claimed there was nothing like subsidy, shouting, “who is subsidizing who?” This is the same person you put your trust in? Someone who didn’t even understand the issues at hand, yet has been forced by the reality of the situation to pay even more than 3 times the previous cost of subsidy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAriq3_2zaM Fuel is admittedly a very touchy subject in Nigeria because Nigerians want cheap fuel, heck even I want cheap fuel, but how realistic is this? What I would say though is that it definitely would be much much cheaper to get refined fuel from our own backyard than having to pay in dollars and ship it from a country thousands of kilometers away. All in all, Buhari is just not a good president, he doesn’t even communicate periodically with the masses via the press like other countries presidents do. You just hear from the guy like on New Year’s Day or something, like, the guy no even send. |
Meanwhile, they are warming up to bring you more suffering. See this quote below, this Tinubu supporter doesn’t even know it’s now safe to hug transformers, lol ![]() adekolaelect: |
Mooh247:Na wa ooo, but aren’t you the same guy supporting a Tinubu presidency? |
bluefilm:Well I’m no economist, but I don’t think being the only president in the world to fly out of your country to seek medical help in another country can be good for your economy, or healthcare system, but what do I know? Maybe one day, Biden, Putin and the rest will follow in your great leaders footsteps, by coming for medical treatment in LASU. |
Jakumo:It’s not really having problems, it’s just that the power demands have increased and the system cant keep up. We have been using solar for about 5 years now, and we had to change batteries from regular lead acid batteries to lithium batteries (LifePO4). |
guobe:When you complain, they call you a wailer, an unpatriotic citizen suffering from inferiority complex especially if you try to compare us with white countries. When you mention that maybe we get Harvard and MIT grads or the best of the best here, to be leaders, they say they rather local, tested and trusted corrupt politicians. Their trust is directly proportional to the scale of corruption, the more corrupt you are, the more you are trusted. When you say, okay let’s divide the country or at least have regions sort themselves out, they tell you that this British creation, one not of their own ancestral doing, can never be undone. Never ever ever! Who are they? Your fellow Nigerians. Can I even blame them? It’s like the chicken and the egg question, which came first? If the egg came first, then what laid it? If the chicken came first, then how did it come to be? Leaders or more accurately, rulers here in Naija bastardize the country and leave citizens uneducated, citizens in turn support the corrupt leaders to further impoverish them. Who is to be blamed? The citizens or the rulers? Anyways, may God be with you bro and help you to rise above the many challenges! It is about time I return to the deep, sigh. |
Inverter is dead over here, though our solar tried supplying 4kwh. Gen is off, cause Diesel is pricey I’m currently in my car enjoying small ac, before returning to the darkness. Mosquitoes have no love men, and I think they are getting smarter. Don’t even know if mosquitoes have brains, or maybe they are evolving.
|
Naija, the theater of the absurd!
|
https://mobile.twitter.com/EKEDP/status/1503797520962658311 You wonder just where we are headed as a nation.
|
Fernandeswagger:Pure BS. I have more throwback to post when nairaland lets me. They were just running their mouths. |
buckeyemedia:I do concur that Nigerians are a big problem. I even saw some Nigerians commenting about how they by-pass their meters and those comments had the most likes. |
buckeyemedia:I don’t understand bros? Meanwhile didn’t I read you complaining earlier about not having light? But you want to fight me now, as per cause I mentioned a politician? Just like that you have forgotten your problems? Suffering and smiling |
https://mobile.twitter.com/SJamgbadi/status/1503690196478529541 I’m happy that you will witness that change
|
Boasipe:You know how Naija is na, they don’t take positive decisions to make things better. They will rather delay and delay and delay. That is why in white man country a dead body on the streets is evacuated immediately, but in Naija, they will let the dead body rot for days on the streets before, finally, removing it. I’m just tired of this country bro, may God help me relocate, amen! I have tried to talk sense on this nairaland for years, but it’s always fellow Nigerians that will beat you down and say they prefer to suffer than join the rest of the civilized world. No light for weeks, something that should be trending on nairaland everyday, yet all you see is apc party fights, wike, Tinubu... The citizens are not ready to develop at all and the future looks bleak. Look how that guy swam inside gutter to celebrate Buharis victory. As in so you entered gutter filled with poo, pee, algae larvae... just so “celebrate” your hero. Are those the kind of citizens that should decide for me and my family? Look at the useless NYSC scheme, a scheme they told you was meant to foster unity. Imagine that. So till today we waste one year of children’s lives just so we can pursue unity, chai, my head is aching me. Nigeria will just give you a headache.
|
LeoDeKing:It’s funny, cause you are saying we shouldn’t hype whites, yet in Nigeria, no light for weeks now, people sleeping in darkness, no water, no law and order, nothing. Of course you can choose to be a proud animal in the zoo, but others see it as it is, which is, the whites so far are more advanced. You should be asking how we can catch up, but I can bet all you care about is campaigning for Tinubu and Atiku. The phone you use to make this comment, na Black Country or na White people produce an? What about the internet you are using? What about the car you use? What about even the fan you are using? ... Abeg leave matter bros. Live a day without any white/Asian invention, I’m sure that day will just involve you chilling in the bush. |
After some Nigerians are done battling with darkness and no light for days, with numerous mosquito bites on their bodies, and shhhitting in pit latrine while looking for water to fetch... They will come online and shout “Jagaban!” Because what else can a slave do? Now I know why Fela is so revered, he knew his people so well. Suffering and smiling Nighggas, ASSEMBLE! The Avengers of suffering are Nigerians, the complete team. Someone needs to sew super hero costume for Nigerians with a big S on the chest area, or S&S! Suffering and smiling nig has! |
