gistmega:Then how come na always Ethiopia dey win Lagos marathon ![]() |
Something needs to be done. Compare the traffic there at this time to that of third mainland bridge. The challenges there to me are drivers unruly behaviors and some traffic lights not functioning. When Ambode first turned the roundabouts to traffic lights, the traffic was eased by a huge margin, but it seems to be creeping back and getting worse and worse with each passing day. There is so much chaos along that so called “express”-way and road users never get punished for wrong doings. Danfo busses obstruct traffic at every stop, never using their own bus stop but instead blocking the roads. I just don’t understand why we let things get very bad in this country without doing anything. The lanes that used to be there have all faded away, it used to be a 3 lane road, but now it’s how ever many cars can squeeze in, so maybe 7 lanes, plus danfo driving on the bush path/service lane. One time in Abuja I was shocked to see soldiers arresting everyone driving along the service lane like these unruly danfos do, but here not one person ever gets punished by police or lasma If lasma can’t catch you on foot then they just let you go, no patrol bikes for either lasma or police to give chase. There are solutions to these problems but they are never practiced.

I love it when they put lanes on roads. We are not animals to be driving on roads without lane markings |
See lekki epe traffic, my goodness!!

Drivers in the house, do you guys fill your tanks or do you just buy 1k here and there? I have to admit, I have been buying 1k here and there partly due to my budget and partly to measure just how much I can make from a certain amount of petrol in the tank. However, e be like say I vex today at Mobil and bought full tank. Since my car has been jerking after buying from multiple petrol stations, I figured Mobil is a name I can trust, and since there was a queue, I just filled her up( that’s what she said). It’s a good feeling seeing my gauge read full and knowing I won’t have to struggle to find petrol before a trip for a while, but spending that much at a time for petrol left a sour taste in my mouth, lol ![]() |
mrvitalis:Are you so sure about that? Do you see the amount of children that beg at almost every junction in Lagos? That screams overpopulation to me. Come to Lagos, you will see like 10 children at almost every junction, swarming cars left right and center. |
QuotaSystem:Bottom line is that we need to do better, but when will that ever happen? Our police don’t do drills. Even private companies do fire drills that they take seriously, yet our police don’t do any response drills. no drills to cut response times, No drills on how to blockade a part of town should the need arise. There are only so many roads people can use and with the right emergency blockade, you can effectively cordon off an area. Anyways one can only keep on hoping for a better force, and a better country. |
See Nigerians insulting Sowore, a guy that has fought and fought and fought for the betterment of the people. Yet they will hail Buhari, a former dictator, and a Tinubu that had the guts to bring not one but two BULLION VANS TO HIS HOUSE IN BROD DAYLIGHT! You Nigerians love your thieves and your backwardness. Even Buhari was asking, How can Ganduje steal money in person, that Ganduje would have sent someone else to collect the money in his agbada. Even bubu doesn’t understand that some thieves are now so bold because why not? Is it not the same Nigerians that will still support you? Is it not the same Ganduje having praise singers? What about Ibori, that his people did owambe for him when he came back from prison. Admit it, you love your thieves and hate your own children. Who cares if your children have water, or electricity, that is their own problem. So let’s all go ahead and insult one of the few people fighting injustice daily, and let’s roll in the Bullion van. Suffering and Smiling Nigerians, ASSEMBLE! |
QuotaSystem:I agree totally! However, we all know that it is extremely rampant here in Nigeria. Even I was almost a victim of soldier brutality in my own estate simply because I greeted soldiers “good evening”! Don’t have time to tell the whole story, but it was all because I said “good evening”. At least those ones abroad get punished when caught. See how the whole world was screaming George Flyods name, yet at the time, Nigerian police had murdered 22 Nigerians because of COVID curfew. Yet NO ONE REMEMBERS THE NAMES OF THESE NIGERIANS!
|
QuotaSystem:Before even terrorist, soldiers still intimidated civilians. Telling someone’s father to frog jump in front of his children for a simple traffic offense. Why not hand them over to a court to pay a fine? Soldiers that have been telling civilians to swim in gutters. Don’t act like Nigerian soldiers haven’t been this way since even your childhood. |
Blitzerz:As in, bro! Perfect location to take them out one by one. Police that doesn’t even have computer in their station, how do we expect them to be organized? Yet some people are still saying, it’s a good thing police did not show, sigh my Country! We have become so used to an ineffectual police force that we now say it’s okay if they don’t show up during a robbery. The robbers can even take time to make breakfast, coffee and eggs and our police still would not show! |
Kobicove:Another slowpoke! It police can not face armed robbers then what are they really there for? Some of you in this country have lost it completely |
See another one saying it’s a good thing police did not respond. Kobicove: |
Jakumo:You are such an ediot men! So now police not showing up to a robbery scene is a good thing? You Nigerians ehn, God forbid! Spits |
The citizens of this country seem to get more daft everyday. See this guy’s justification for police now responding to a bank robbery at Uromi Jakumo:Just imagine! You Nigerians get the kind of leadership you deserve walahi! I bet this same slowpoke, if he was in America, would dial 911, and police will show at his door in 5 minutes, but here in Nigeria he would be like leave them to rob. What is wrong with the monkeys in this country? |
So it seems that Bolt will still block you for rejecting trips. I thought they said we are now free to choose trips? I got a message saying I will soon be blocked for low activity score. So now I have to be doing arrived even for trips I’m not going for and wasting the riders time. Why can’t Bolt just let people choose the rides they want to take for goodness sake?
|
NGpatriot:Left to people like you, the whole Igbo tribe should be murdered instead of them getting their own country. |
Barbiturate:Haha, N400! Better find change bros! I get those N400 trips steady, and it always hits me like a hammer when I end the trip, and I see N400. I’m still smiling to the rider, but inside I’m like no way, no way, after all this? God whhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! Anyways, they do compensate you on your balance sha, so it’s still your money. The riders are really enjoying sha, so you enter car that I have washed and sprayed with the finest Arabian perfumes, AC chilling and you are all alone in the ride, no other passengers but you, controlling me like remote, “on your ac, maximum”, “turn your radio off”, “turn here instead”... then you drop and pay N400, N400, chai! Chai! Chai! Chai! |
IFSHR:Honestly! Some days it’s 26% commission, some days it’s 25.something%... I don’t know how the fuel finished sha, maybe cause of my errands, but they were short errands unless I underestimated. Anyways, it all just seems pointless sometimes. I will try again tomorrow or next with 2k petrol and no errands, let’s see just how far it will take me. Imagine if bolt took only 10% commission from the 5,700. At least I would have room to breathe, but no, they must swallow 26%. The fares are too low and the commission is too high. Maybe it would work if one is doing back to back to back trips, but when you do a 900 naira trip of 6km, how much did you really make? 900 - 25% commission = 675. Average fuel economy for these cars, let’s say, 12km/100 L, so 1L would take you 8km, so let’s round up to say you spent 1L on the 6km trip. 675 - 165 = 510. Then if you don’t find another trip before you get back to the point of origin, that’s another 1L So 510 - 165 = 345. So true profit is N345. I passed through bad roads, hand to endure a stranger in my car, had to be alert and follow all road rules, had to avoid bashing my car and other people cars, and all I get from that trip is N345; Barely 2 packs of hungry man sized indomie. It’s weird abeg! It was different in December when there was surge all the time. Left to me, that surge pricing should be the regular pricing. |
Is driving Bolt still profitable sef with their low fares and 26% commission? I feel like I’m driving for bolt and petrol. Look at the screenshot of my day’s earnings. First their commission today was 25.7%, imagine! Then I used like 3k worth of fuel today, including some errands but mainly bolt. When you subtract petrol money of 3k, all that’s left is like 1k after how many hours on the road. Can a high earner break down their own daily earnings? Let’s learn from them as well. Dashboard is just a mirage men!

blamingthedevil:God will not be mocked abeg. Ordinary water, none of your leaders can provide, but you are here calling on God. Do you think if God was in charge, we won’t have water supply to our houses? You steal and kill, put the masses under intense suffering. You hail a theif that took bullion van to his house on election eve and then you call on God to bless the thief. That Nigeria is upside down should not come as a shock to an outside observer, because the people themselves, people like you in the majority will keep pulling the country down into the abyss, walahi!!! People like you that entered gutter to celebrate a politician, mixing with all the poo and pee, because thats the direction your brains lead una Ordinary water you don’t have. Where did you get water to bathe this morning? Did you use tanker water? Or was it bore hole? Or was it government supplied? You see water tankers going to deliver water to people, even in banana island in Lagos. Suffering and Smiling, living fake life on the internet, when ordinary water you don’t have. You Nigerians make me sick, evil bunch!!! All you guys ever do is bash other tribes, while your country continues to burn. No debates on policy, strategy, nothing... You all just win elections by calling people Afonja, yamari and the rest. That is all your peanut brains can handle, now shout IPOB! The day I leave this country for good, I will praise you God like I never have before, because it seems Nigeria is meant for the most evil of hearts. Imagine last time, you people went and elected a freakiiing coup plotter, like? Is that one jazz? Somebody was a dictator, and part of a coup. Something that is a grave offense, yet una still go bring an come manage, as per “suffering and smiling” Other humans with functional brains in other countries were asking, how can Nigerians elect a former dictator, but of course, Nigerians were here doing owambe. To hell with your apc and pdp, Tinubu and Atiku, nonsense! Call me a wailer, but after that, you will still go to bed without electricity, unless you decide to power your gen. A gathering of apes masquerading as humans is what this country is. Country of the Apes!
|
komodapson:Haha, make bros no go carry wheel spanned on top my matter abeg, lol Before in go talk say “oya na, make we dey move” |
Viking07:Are you sure, or is it only when rider chooses the option of “driver requested a cancel”? My driver score yesterday didn’t dip after some riders cancelled, I thought maybe bolt had already listened as per the email they sent out. I am gonna experiment with my confirmation rate and only accept trips I want to do which shouldn’t affect driver score unless bolt hasn’t resolved the rider cancel issue.
|
Done my part sha, but does cancellation still affect driver score?
|
Omo so many bolt cars are online in lekki here oo Like ants on the map Guess we need a bigger microphone, a megaphone. |
Hmmm, I ordered one to the north today and he accepted. Is that how people are willing to drive far on short notice? Anyway, I have cancelled sha |
shigishege:Wait ooo, shey Buhari is selling you rice at special “zombie” pricing? Abi are you not buying the same goods as the rest of us? Are you not getting dollar at almost 600? Did you queue recently for petrol or did you show them your Buhari love tattoo on your yansh? As per, for easy entry, no pun intended. |
Chai!
|
northbird:I will cross the river for you bro! |
Driver score reducing daily
|
chiefoga:See one of the suffering and smiling niggggas What a country, gosh! Water you don’t have, electricity you don’t have, currency, security |
