osazsky:You weren't there, why the insults? For your information, Islam as I see it in other countries is quite different from what you can get in Nigeria. You have no idea what tolerance is |
This is not a big deal. I have equally gone to the mosque and prayed as a Christian |

This bill is anti-popular because, once passed, rents will skyrocket to compete with Europe and the rest of the world. Imagine that a rent of about 1 million naira per year, less than 100,000 per month, would gradually increase to 120,000... 130,000... 140,000... and so on until an annual rent reaches 4 to 5 million, especially in Nigeria where price control mechanisms are not applied. Yes, it is bearable in advanced countries because of the productivity rates, unlike Nigeria where unemployment and poor remuneration hold sway. This bill when passed will only favour the rich who have acquired so much wealth to invest in properties thereby making more money from the poor masses. |

Opportunity comes but once. Most people get an opportunity on a platter, miss the same and start complaining about village people. The man is not a member of their families, even though he might have decided to help them for his own personal gratification. If they were wise, they could have used the opportunity wisely. I recall the man even promised to send them to a neighbouring country to pursue their education which they declined. You can imagine, with the fall of the Naira, if one stays in a country where he is being paid in francs CFA is big money now. They have missed, the opportunity for self-development which would have guaranteed their meal ticket for life, a platform to maintain a good image as ambassadors of that ministry, opportunity to also help and give back to their relatives It is sad and shameful! |
Undoubtedly, ECOWAS has been very proactive in condemning the disruption of democracy in Niger, but my only objection to their approach was the immediate sanctions imposed. They should at least listen to both sides and follow a peaceful path to resolve the issues rather than threatening the putschists with invasion. |
What a clown! Do the Arabic inscriptions stop the most privileged Muslim faithful from stealing and looting our Naira? Evil people like this so-called Muric guy will always want to take advantage of every little opportunity to score a cheap religiously motivated point. I don't think it is worth it to listen to bad influences like this man |
Obviously, an important scene missing from this reportage; is a lunch scene. You can't have FFK around without "Food" I'm sure the visit was also to pick up a cheque for the last outing at Channels TV. I know for sure, "To every resounding voice, there is a corresponding invoice" Quote me and allow thunder to do the needful to you. |
Continue to deceive yourself... |
There is nothing new under the sun, it sounds like the biblical story of Joseph and his brothers...Indeed, inspiring. I still believe in one thing, once you have a clear conscience over everyone that hates you, their evil plans would only catapult you to your desired destination via providence. It is a typical example and I urge the writer to continue to be magnanimous in his success story. Vengeance is of the Lord; Hebrews 10:30. |

Ok, this is welcome, then. Thanks for the clarification. TheExclusive: |
I really commend the efforts of those who use their platforms to raise awareness, especially among young people, to get their PVC. It is a welcome and very thoughtful development but a big challenge remains; most of these people would still be disenfranchised because the current electoral law allows voters to vote only at the registration unit. Most of these guys who are registering at event locations wouldn't leave their homes to go and vote, already we know there won't even be free movement on election day. The only way this can work is if the registration automatically directs their details to the nearest polling unit based on the residential address they provided on their registration forms, otherwise, it will be counter-productive. |
There is nothing wrong with sharing an apartment with others. The only problem I see here is the moral problem that we face as a country, for example, we seldom care to know the source of our neighbors' livelihood and if there is anything incriminating about an individual in the apartment, the law sees the occupants of the apartment as close relatives although it can be proven otherwise, it will take some time to do so. Considering the situation of abuse by our law enforcement agency, an innocent person may be labeled as a criminal for a long time of litigation. There are similar situations that people always ignore, such as going to a bar and sitting where others are already sitting. A friend went to a bar and innocently sat down to share a table with a group of armed robbers who were being trailed by the police. Unfortunately for him, he was caught with the bandits, it took the efforts of good-spirited friends to prove his innocence as he was also paraded with the robbers. |
This MURIC guy is just too sick to know when to draw the line of peddling lies to promote his divisiveness tendency through religion. From the record since the return of democracy in 1999: 1. Bola Ahmed Tinubu a Muslim spent 8 years (1999 - 2007) 2. Babatunde Fashola a Muslim spent 8 years (2007 - 2015) 3. Akinwunmi Ambode a Christian spent 4 years (2015 - 2019) 4. Babajide Sanwo-Olu a Christian (2019 - Till date) So far since the return of democracy, Lagos has recorded a total of 1. Muslim: 16 years 2. Christian: 6years + I just needed to sound petty to put the record straight for those who may not know the history and can easily be deceived by the likes of this Ishaq of a man. It is time, we stopped peddling lies to promote religious sentiment. I would have expected every Nigerian to be discussing capacity and not religion. There is nobody in Nigeria who receives discounts in the market when buying anything on the account of his/her religion. These evil men are creating sentimental issues to further undermine capacity on the platter of religion for their selfish gains. I'm sure no sensible Lagosian would take him serious. He represent a bad example for a new Nigeria! |
