Christianity EtcRe: OPM's Hospital Treats A Muslim Woman For Free by VEE2010(m): 10:43am On Jun 06, 2020
Unnecessary publicity to market their church to the detriment of our collective unity.
I just hope these guys understand the negative impact they are creating in this country using the already overstretched tool of division (religion) to promote their agenda.
It's a shame that, good deeds of this generation only meant to please the eyes of men rather than God unlike the Christian guidelines on giving...
PoliticsRe: Diezani: Setback In Extradition Moves Over Dominica Republic Citizenship by VEE2010(m): 10:27am On Jun 06, 2020
In as much as I'm not in support of crime, I think the EFCC needs to step up its games if they really want to save this country from the scorching of corruption.
In management, there is what we called a "Quick-win or low-hanging fruit". We have them in Nigeria that the EFCC deliberately ignored, perhaps due to party affiliation. A very egregious case of bullion van transporting money to the residence of rulling party's chieftain during the general election speaks volumes about their type of anti-corruption. It should be a quick win for the EFCC if they are really not biased.
Why would you claim to be fighting corruption with vindictive tendencies?
Corruption is corruption no matter who is involved. We are all Nigerians and must be treated as such otherwise nobody will take us serious
PoliticsRe: Obaseki: Certificate Forgery Allegations Against Me Baseless, Will Fail In Court by VEE2010(m): 8:04am On Jun 05, 2020
What puzzles me about all of these unnecessary two-way actions / inactions by Oshiomhole and Obaseki is how people can easily betray their conscience and still sleep with both eyes closed.
I remember how Oshiomhole belittled the now late former chairman of PDP (Anenih) simply because he was considered as godfather of edo politics whose influence also extended to other parts of the country at that time.
Oshiomhole is now working comfortably on the same line. This is how man can easily change. Power seems to corrupt, but absolute power corrupt absolutely.
Oshiomhole must understand that the world is watching although I do not support ungrateful fellow but if he surely believes what he preached, he should allow the people to decide the fate of Obaseki

Another audio completion...
The Lagos-Ibadan expressway being used as conduit to embezzle our common patrimony since time immemorial.
Now, 2nd Niger bridge which is a PPP project added to appease the gods of the east.
I will like to remind APC that, Nigerians are resilient people, the same way we survived PDP, we shall surely overcome the evil spread from the centre in the name of a political party.
Shame!

FamilyRe: Seeing Dead Aunty In My Dreams Repeatedly. I Need Any Solutions Please by VEE2010(m): 5:34am On May 28, 2020
This is my opinion regarding your encounter and I wish you will take this seriously:

1. As a young boy, you felt betrayed because you innocently accepted this couple as your biological parents. That actually ignited the sense of entitlement clearly posited in your write up. Be grateful that they brought you in and the discipline you received still speaks for you today. Becoming an adult without a single visit to the police station for criminal or civil disobedience is clear testimony to support this fact.
2. Most women are so manipulative, especially when they feel threatened that, other child could be more successful than their biological children. Do not be surprised by this fact, it takes a lot of fear of God in a woman to overcome this bad blood. Do not use it against the family, always remember the first love they availed you.
3. Your uncle may have done something he seriously regrets. It may not be directly related to you, but as a successful man, it's time to recall the first love. Such a display of love will certainly erase any invisible evil that manifests against you directly or indirectly.
4. Don't stop to reach out to your cousin brothers. You can resuscitate the relationship and make it stronger than you can imagine. Nobody knows, tomorrow, things may still change, perhaps in the generations of your descendants. Learn how to build bridges. Show more affection than you think. It's a pay back time and I will advice you to take this as your first quadrant task, checking up on your uncle!

He is well endowed and I wish him good luck.

I hope that the Nigeria project will receive a positive boost when we start to have more technocrats in our political space rather than the conventional politicians who have rarely survived outside the political circle.

Nigerians aspire to new ideas and innovative leadership that is accessible with dynamic inclusive thought leadership.
Welcome on board, Sir!

PoliticsRe: Wike: Why I Demolished Two Hotels In Rivers State (Video) by VEE2010(m): 7:21pm On May 10, 2020
I have read so many comments here that people are busy cursing the governor. Tomorrow, the same people will compare our country to Dubai and China, then accuse the country of not competing favorably with other countries, they were almost at the same level of development a few decades ago. The answer is simple! These countries with which we usually compare Nigeria are places where the law works. Covid-19 is real and if a constituted authority orders people to stay at home, I wonder why some violate this order and yet you blame the government for sending a clear message to deter others. I know that if we allow the death penalty to prevail in this country, the same sentimental comments will fill the air. The same death penalty is what has helped these countries that we usually jump to compare Nigeria with the habit of developing their countries. Well done Wike for that!

Just focus on your dreams and aspirations, it doesn't matter your qualifications. The future is always pregnant for those who aspires.
However, I see pride, lack of exposure on the part of the father. He should refer to Bishop David Oyedepo, Senator Amosun, Rauf Aregbesola, etc. Aforementioned personalities are products of Polytechnics. It's not by institutions we attended most times but our driving force and opportunities utilized makes the difference

School on air?
A welcome development in a failed society. If I may ask;

1. Do they give free data? If no, it's failed
2. Do they have stable electricity? If no, it's failed
3. Other factors; Computer knowledge & affordability

If any of these factors is still opened, it's an error!

There is a major concern about this testing process which must be clear to everyone.
It is not about the number of people tested positive, they should tell us also, how many people have been tested so far, doing so will help to find the ratio and perhaps estimate potential cases in the country.
As far as I'm concerned, the virus spread is quite more but inefficient testing procedure is seriously exposing the country to a risk.

BusinessRe: For People Who Grew Up Poor And Eventually Escaped Poverty, Whats Your Story? by VEE2010(m): 9:25pm On Mar 25, 2020
It is worth contributing so that other people who may be facing the same life event can learn.

I was born into a family with a zeal but on subsistence economy life style.
As the last born, my sisters were already married and started in the same style as our parents. My father had already retired as a low-level local government employee. Mom was in the small business that barely fed the household, but we were lucky to have a small family house where we laid our heads.
I had every reason to drop out of elementary school after my uncle, who was somewhat in agreement, complained consistently about the financial burden he was exposed to in raising his immediate family and also by extending support to relatives. I had made up my mind not to be a burden to him.
I started a little business at the age of 12 just to support myself and I was very aware that the only way out was to get a good education which I knew was impossible if I failed to take a different approach even at a tender age. I remember how I traded all kinds of stuffs ranging from maggi, candy, chewing gum and cookies after school hours and on weekends until SS1.
It should be noted that dad had left us to be with the lord when I was in primary 3. With the initial support of my uncle coupled with the little that I could collect from my business, I was able to complete my primary studies
While I was doing the business, i was lucky mom had a precious sewing machine that was like a family car for all of us. I had learned to adjust some minor clothes errors, thanks to the efforts of my elder brother and my sisters who thought me how to sew. In fact, we all knew how to operate a sewing machine like a family car that everyone drives. Having mastered the skill of adjusting clothes, sewing became part of my commercial activities and from the proceeds, I was able to continue in paying my fees up to SS3.

It was quite worisome that mom being regularly indisposed due to a terminal ailment that was not ditected earlier, I had to provide for the family thanks to the little income from business and also my secondary needs were catered for.
Importantly, during all this time, nobody knew at school that I was sponsoring myself. Thanks to mum that was always praying for me to be blessed. Every evening after school, I will have to display my wares along a main road until around midnight and continue going to school the next morning. The routine actually affected my performance at school and some people thought I was a dull student, but inside me, I knew it was because of the lack of time to study that had contributed to my poor performance. I was not discouraged at least, I knew where the fault was coming from but I was persistent, not giving up until the end of my high school studies.
It was a big relief for mom that I finished school and she wanted me to pay more attention to business since I had already developed my small business to a certain level. In me, I knew that I had developed a contrary opinion on business, so I knew that I could only realize my dream if I continued my studies.
On this note, an idea to join a force (NPF) came to mind to support my education, although everyone in the family frowned against NPF (Nigeria Police Force).
I started the process but it did not go well and I thank God for it.
Now the NPF has flopped, the only way out is to move to the city in search of greener pastures.
Lagos, I come and I must be blessed!
To be contd...
FamilyRe: I Have Been With Him For 5 Years, No Sign Of Marriage by VEE2010(m): 10:38pm On Mar 06, 2020
Dear,
I can easily understand the story which is quite touching.
I must say that you made the right decision to have raised it here, even if some people will abuse you because they have never known true love.
My advice to you as follows:
1. Create an artificial shortage of your presence around him
2. Don't insult or stop taking calls in case he reaches out to you
3. Not all relationships lead to marriage, but the good thing is that you should always learn from past and present experiences.
4. Do not discuss anything near marriage with him, unless he initiates such a discussion and if he does, be sure to contribute less
5. Be sensitive, every suitor is a potential husband
6. Identify and correct your weaknesses.
7. Be sincere in your actions towards life and be prayerful

Be courageous!

PoliticsRe: Delta State To Ban Cow Meat Sale And Consumption by VEE2010(m): 8:34am On Feb 25, 2020
I think the government should think of a PP project of having a standard ranch rather than banning cow meat.

They should adopt a viable model from south America to remedy this situation

PoliticsRe: 9 Ex-Public Officers Forfeit Over N100 Billion To FG by VEE2010(m): 8:11am On Dec 15, 2019
We are tired of hearing billion billion recovery. Once we have just a little need, we turned to China to borrow and sell off the future of our country.
I'm sure this is yet another audio stolen money recovery which will only gratify the current leadership's ego.
A fight against corruption shouldn't be a 5 minutes sensational process but true recovery that will translate to meaningful development which will also serve as deterrent to potential looters.
From what we have noticed so far, the news about so-called recovered funds meant to serve the following:
1. To score a cheap political point
2. To drive a vindictive agenda
3. To intimate opposing views
4. To be re-looted by those in government
5. To cage perceived enemies against 2023 general election
RomanceRe: Two-Month Relationship, My Worst Nightmare by VEE2010(m): 12:14am On Dec 15, 2019
Your story is quite touching and I could easily relate to your story. It clearly describes a good heart and a caring father despite the circumstances that led to it.
However, you must appreciate your fiancée for always giving you a reasonable advice without letting her personal emotions erode her bright side of life.
In my opinion, I firmly believe that everything a man does with a clear and good conscience, there is always a reward. I am very optimistic that you will emerge stronger once you have found the courage to take up the idea of DNA with all the sense of commitment to achieve it. I would advise you to put this option on the table as a condition to continue reaching out to these children.
I always believed that there are 4 things that could not be hidden forever:
1. The sun
2. The Moon
3. Pregnancy and
4. The truth.

Try your best to avoid the thought of self condemnation

Be brave to take this bold step and stay blessed.

Can this country ever be redeemed?

So sad!
Today, our society is full of evils caused mainly by bad parenting. As a country, we must trace our steps to where we have missed the common sense of reasoning and accommodation, which is a function of a good family background. We are all witnessing failures in the family settings as the smallest unit of the larger society which we lives in.
Both victim and accuse are the true reflection of the aforementioned issue (Bad parenting) and they are actually victims of circumstances...
May we not find ourselves or our children living a capricious life to their detriment and to the society.
It's about time, parents have the courage to counsel their children, the accumulation of ill-gotten wealth can only make them vulnerable to unimaginable problems like this one, because life is in stages. It is dangerous to possess what you have not prepared for. Going through phases of life provides us with the basics necessary to live a well deserved and fulfilling life.
I hope others will learn from this bitter experience...

PoliticsRe: Seyi Makinde Appoints Tamunominini Makinde Head Of State Agency For AIDS Control by VEE2010(m): 12:00pm On Nov 07, 2019
There is nothing wrong with this appointment. It simply means that Oyo state AIDS Control Agency is under the direct supervision of the office of the first lady, which I think is commendable, because the basic control of this scourge is more of building a strong family values system and sensitization. The family system we practice from nuclear to society as a whole, we cannot undermine the role of mothers in a family setting in which the office of the first lady stands to represent. In some states, first lady plays a vital role in the affairs of women and youth ministries. Women and youth ministries are more exposed to the threat of AIDS and other related scourges facing humanity at this material time

PoliticsRe: Highlights Of Buhari’s Meeting With Putin At The Russia-african Summit by VEE2010(m): 4:55pm On Oct 24, 2019
Normally, bilateral meetings are supposed to establish mutually beneficial relations between nations.
The write-up seems incomplete because the journalist did not mention the benefits that Russia might derive from the discussion during the meeting or does he try to misinform the population for political reasons?
No nation is immune to challenge that needs international collaboration. Bilateral meeting is a win-win situation and, in most cases, the western world benefits more because they seem to be hiding their exploitative tendencies under the guise of helping or supporting the Third World countries.
Nigeria has entered into countless bilateral agreement and sometimes the government will colour it to look as if, such will end the suffering of a common man the next day but all turned out to disappointments.
Let's always have a balance reportage on bilateral talks as to understand what we stand to lose while we gain some...
My candid opinion though
CelebritiesRe: Nigerians React As Mompha Gets Arrested By Interpol by VEE2010(m): 3:07pm On Oct 22, 2019
This guy happens to be one of the social media influencers who has corrupted some young minds in social media space.
I have always said it, it is high time, people understood that, success does not consist in displaying a wealth whose source can not be explained. It's a complex show for me!
If you want to assert my opinion, first of all, ask yourself how many wealthy men and women with visible livelihoods display their wealth on social media, is it Dangote, Adenuga, Zukerberg, Jim Ovia, Alakija? etc.
These are models to emulate for our young people, and not for those who display material things without commensurable source for such flamboyant behavior. I hope Nigerians will learn that wealth is not just about buying cars, designer clothes, and so on. We must learn to celebrate those who add value to our society.
