No it most definately isn't.
I have know someone who just landed 2dyas ago with 3kids in canada. 2 of the 3 have SCD.

So you have nothing to worry about if asked during medicals always speak the truth.

Practice makes permanent (thus practice the right material and strategy so your permanence would lead to perfection of the needed skill )

Good morning Guys. Please I’m new on this great thread and I need a clarification. If I have a 4 years Bsc in Physics and another 2 years Bsc in computer science, Will WES evaluate the 2 years Bsc as an equivalent to a Canadian degree and will I be able to claim points for 2 or more certificates

The reason he discouraged me was this;

He said if the difference between the writing section and reading section is more than 1, he would advise me not to request EOR. But said if I am confident, I should go ahead. But from the tone of his voice, it is clear that something is fishy at IDP MOD but that should not smtop anyone from seeking EOR if you are confident.

That is because when there is a difference of more than 1 between any module, it automatically triggers a remark of that candidate's paper.
However if you are actually very confident in what you wrote then you still stand a chance (thats like 3rd time marking ur script)

Congrats on ur evaluation. The Bnsc evaluation is yet to be proven cos we know of no one who has evaluated with Iqas and provided additional transcripts for the other qualifications and didn't get 2 or more certs assessment.I know someone whose assessment is still ongoing.She is using bnsc and public health.Fingers r crossed until results r ready then we can make valid assumptions backed by evidence.
The key is in providing evidence of whatever studies in form of transcripts IMO.

Well as long as there are separate transcript then there is a chance. I hope it works out for her....some friends of mine would be very excited .

Did your BNSc get a positive evaluation from IQAS or did you evaluate more than one degree?

I dont have a BSN.
I evaluated my RN(3yrs) and RM(18mths) diploma.

Bsn is equivalent to 1 degree even if the RN/RM/RPHN licenses may be within the program. However you cant claim 2 cert cos its just 1 transcript you have to assess. Unlike the RN who did each program in a separate institution.

I dont know about physio but judging from trends on other threads if you dont get a favourable response from WES, IQAS is the next body to risk it all on.

However just like physiotherapists, nurses also need a license to practice and we arent awarded equivalence of a professional degree also. So i guess IRCC have their criteria.

I and a friend of mine registered for WES together but i hadn't seen anyone with a favorable response so i decided to chill and along the line someone here confirmed my fears and proffered a solution(IQAS).

i withdrew my application from WES and she decided to leave hers for confirmation since she had already sent all transcripts(needless to say WES wasn't favorable).
so i was next to test the waters of IQAS because the person who told me about it did assessment for RN and psychiatry.
Am grateful it came out well......now she too can proceed.....its a win for the entire team

Yes you can apply from within canada when the score drops.
Also if you are doing a masters (assuming u had 2 or more cert to get 430) , you can apply for express entry on the ist month of your PGWP because the masters will improve your score and your work experience is already intact.
That saves your 6mths to 1 year wait period (depends on your province).

1-how possible is it to run an msc with like under 2million
2-i have a 3rd class but am presently doing a pgd would that be helpful in securing am msc admission
3-which would you want me to apply via, Canadian immigration or an msc?i am more partiular about the Canadian work experience, I hope to work while schooling and probably gather this experience that can help me settle down once I finish my msc, I also think it will take like 3years thereabout o gather this experience if going through immigration, so am factoring all this in. I just want concrete advise to guide me, so I know exactly what to do

1....if that's all the money u have to show as POF then it isn't possible to secure study permit.
2.....probably not as most msc admission require a 2.1 plus u have to find a professor interested in your area of research and convince him/her to take u as a student.
3.......finish your Pgd and apply express entry after completing tour POF and getting other requirements.

*The "Canadian work experience" you will get while schooling will range from Wal-Mart cashier, sales rep to a support worker (if lucky).

All the same I think express entry is your surest bet as visa refusal rate is almost 0% (Negligible number).

Well if these people succeed in convincing you that canada is a bad place to be then your village people are very strong and your head wasn't meant for Canada.
No need to convince anyone........who am I to make u relocate when your village people clearly are on your case

As a professional nurse my reason for not wanting to practice in Nigeria was because of the "nollywood nurse" ; the nurse that won't take a patient's vital signs and be shouting DOCTOROOOOO...LOL. I want to practice in a society that appreciates the struggles I had to go through to complete my training. Being in Canada and starting almost afresh in my career is totally worth it.
In the meantime even If I am earning slightly above the minimum wage, I have a car, i can pay my rent and ultilities and I pay my tuition without any assistance(in less than a year of landing).
It is good to manage ur expectations while immigrating to canada but it is also true that when u start from somewhere and work towards your dreams u will get there.
If it were really that bad why have those your uncles, aunties and friends who are discouraging you, why have they not gone back to Nigeria.
This is a thread for those who are ready to sacrifice their short term pride and comfort for the long term stability for themselves and their generations. I want to birth Canada's president and I know it is possible because the society won't pull me down because I wasn't born here.

You are getting me wrong. Firstly, I'm trying to play safe by not saying self-employed, all the documents that would be attached is a long thing. So, I'm saying if someone pays into my company account, and I have that money transferred into my own personal account after some days, as accumulated salary and benefits, would that be good? It's nothing fraudulent, I just feel it'll be absurd for someone working for over 3 years to have the whole PoF as gift from someone.

Better still, can my company pay me accumulated salary and bonuses in bulk? Would that work? Or am I going to upload the company's bank statement?

My misunderstanding of the situation shows you that it would be hard to fly with a VO. I think it is more absurd to say u are just getting paid after 3years of working.
So I guess it would be better to transfer the money to a close relative or parent and have the person do a gift deed after transferring it back to you.

If the company want to gift you the 3.5 then that's fine. But if u want to go into the purse and help yourself to it then I don't think u should be telling us. We can't and won't give u advice to do anything that is illegal.

However due to funds constraints, we decided that my Fiancee should apply as single with my son while ill join them later.

Please how long will it take for her to file for me if she succeeds and lands in Canada next year while I work and increase our capital here in 9ja.

1.5 to 2 years but that means you guys are going to remain single till she arrives in canada. She can sponsor you after about a year of landing....so just budget yourself remaining in nja after they are gone for 2-3yrs more.

They are as expensive as they are professional but truth is that even them do not have the power over the decisions on your application. I like them because they will tell you that. If you do not have any particular twist to your profile please do it yourself. If u do and u have the money then it's fine. I used them for my 2nd study permit app so I knew the process too and it helped because No one knows your situation more than urself.

It isn't necessary. I just completed mine with him and I didn't have to appear for him to complete the process. Just explain well for him. Sometimes he is too impatient to listen.
