Its not that dificult to marry a rich man, in Nija as long as you come from a good and respectable family, you are educated, speak fluently, well behaved ,friendly irrespect of your looks or background. Wealthy suitors will come knocking, even someone in their families would suggest to their sons that hey, there's this girl i use to see around, what do you think about her .

Also, a hot tip, always listen to your gf when she airs her views even if you wont take to them. Inshort, always try and communicate constructively wiht her , even if you have a tight schedule send texts or calls if your job , do not create time to see her often. In my own point of view and with what recently happened in my relationship. Women dump men when some certain men behave so proud and disregard their babe's feelings anytime they are together,as if one cant do without them, Secondly if he womanises so much ( some babes cant overlook infidelity in their boyfriends) and lastly perhaps, if a suitor with more money/vision comes around to woo her for a more stable relationship wiht what you've been showing her , then she could change her mind and move on ( Ouch! dat hurts, but na so O!

Guys still dey cry about girls again? But , wait talking about widowers, big boys and chronic bigs boys that wish to settle down, if babes do not marry them , who will? and truthfully,most guys want to get married ,either you are rich /average/poor. The issue is they will get married someday to a babe or a guy if they wish to

He is simply human, most affected couples wont love as much as they use to , when such unfortunate incident happens, God forbid. But thats life, he cant divorce her, which he would have sadly like to becuase friends and family will say he is inhuman. But if he truly loves her , he should look beyond the scars and try and understand how she would also be feeling at this stage of her life. Its sad.

@ poster, please dump the guy, cause even if he gets rich tomrrow, which i doubt ecept by sheer luck or grace of God, he wont remeber all your efforts to satisfy his needs. Why should well to do babes put up with guys that are golddiggers? Abeg start complaining about lack of money which you r using on a new project and you will notice the guy will withdraw from you when a dime is not coming his way anymore. Think babe, think wise and stop being his puppet.

because there are very few responsible men out there that are ready for marriage. and more women are becoming practical in their everyday lives , independent financially, spiritually and otherwise. More women are no longer eager to play along with the unnecessary antics of most men.

@ k1banty, yes am single, focused young minded buisness woman. All, am saying is i have dated guys who had nothing  and i was completely dissapointed in their attitudes especialy when i was not even requesting anything financial from either ones , at that time. And when they saw i wasnt requesting , they started making their own financial demands in trickish ways; even expecting me to buy recharge cards! for Godsake.
I got so pissed off, i said to my self , no more dating broke-assed guys,  finito.
Also, you don't have to be a millionaire to be comfortable.

Guys, we are not saying you all should become millionaires or billionaires. All, am saying in particular is that FACE YOUR FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND STOP WHINNING. Gone are those days , i will start afresh with any guy because, most poor guys in lagos & possibly in nija as awhole are opportunitists looking for rich young girls to woo and take advantage of their fortune. Positive minded babes keep on bettering yourselves in your chosen career/jobs. So, guys if you r not comfortable financially, dont come near my romantic radar , i dey vex for all lazy guys,complaining about caring for their babes.

woodboi, i have passion to want to live a great life and i know it takes vision,hardwork, dedication,and creativity to become sucessfully financially and live such lifestyle. I am a very realistic person but reasonable in spending money, i have a good job that satisfies most of my needs but i believe that a man should take care of his responsibilty financially when it pertains to his lover/wife even if she is financially stable or not.
  I have two brothers and i notice between them and their friends, that anytime they are broke , their friends disappear, guys O! but when they have dough, the same guys troop around, why? I also notice that most guys are so lazy to think and create a better plan for their lives. Instead, they groan everyday that their is no job and that babes demand too much. I agree some greedy  babes do demand so much , its crazy. But guys in naija should step up and come up wiht a realistic plan to be producers of labour, hence bettering the lives of other people; which will result to living a comfortable lifestyle instead of groaning about greedy babes,

Poster, pls dont accept his proposal to marry you within a week of just meeting. Its a trap, i was once a victim. My exhusband saw me for the first time and proposed within a week, he lives abroad, has a good job, but the guy was not what he proclaimed to be. I saw "pepper" . But i thank God, am out of it alive . God is good O! Beware.

i will say smart girls get good husbands, prostitutes/ bad girls do not always get good husbands while good girls, minority have good husband while majorit end up living alone or with their parents. So, good babes don't turn bad, just be smart and wise,

@ poster, of course i will look good , smell good even without a romance in my radar. But . lets say, am still a student and i have a dad and mum, who takes charge of their responsibilty of making me look good at all times. So, is it then bad /wierd to expect the guy am dating to spend on me, like going out to nice restaurants, movie spots, recreational places that you will have no choice than to SPEND THAT MONEY! Or you expect the girl to just watch other guyz buy things for thier babes with all sense of delight at such fun spots? While she mope around, or with shameface spend her own money, while you are there ?
C'mon stop being selfish and take care of your responsibility. Because its the guy responsibilty since he started the wooing game and most probably sleep with her some times , if not most times thank God, my boyfriend is not like that.

its impossible to have romance without finance, do you know that even to send love text message , few minutes phone calls of "i love you", "miss ya" costs money especially in nija. and with the high transport fares staring at us! and top of that we have to look good, smell good, for God's sake it cost money!!

But what if the rich guy loves you, cause it happens and the poor guy doesnt love you that much , because he feels , he is cute and their are loads of unmarried girls seeking to get married to himself, cause he is goodlooking guy with an average job
