The Russian dictator has been there for 24 years, 24 years of nothing to show for it. Just humiliating Russia in Ukraine.

Russia will loose in Ukraine. Regional power no sure again. They now want to back the arab (the first slave traders), in using their African slaves, to overtake the continent for them, where they can steal free resources and set their weapons around, while creating wars everywhere. Mali, CAR, bukina Faso, Uganda, Congo, every place of war. but they want to point at America, who mostly seeks peace.

There are some yorubas in the east, no be today thing.

From my observations, Yorubas, mostly don't like to move outside their immediate neighborhoods or states they were born in. There are many Lagos yorubas, that don't even go to Ogun state and vice versa. Yorubas will rather travel to UK and now dubai or America, than go anywhere else. They don't mind enjoying and suffering in their area that they know.

Igbos take Nigeria as their whole home. Which I think they need to mentally change, because that is not how other Nigerians think, especially yorubas.

One thing tho, igbos respect yorubas that dare to move around for reenergize financially or for opportunities. Daring yorubas are some of the most intelligent yorubas you will ever meet.

As a kid, during christmas period, we use to spend time in Anambra and some days in Abia, so maybe Christmas in Anambra and new year in Abia, or vice versa. My mum and dad towns. In Abia, there used to be some yorubas that lived on the next street, broda Akin and him babe, with their neighbor, shola, segun, and I forget the other two names, those were imsu students, so they were not around all the time when we were around for the holidays. Broda Akin, used to teach after school maths, na complete bad guy, wey sabi maths and physics well well. Broda segun used to run a shop, broda shola used to do some govt work somewhere in abakaliki. As I was growing up, I ran into more, that were there as students, as economic seekers, govt workers, and even Yahoo. I remember one day, wet some young guys dey play ball, go break broda segun car glass, na so he come out eh, catch like 3 people, sakpa them, make them kneel down, cun flog them well. Na so one of the papa of one of the boys show, wan dey rake, the mama wan cun dey yarn yoruba this and that, boy, dem chance the woman and her husband, still make them pay for the glass, because everybody been hear when he warn the boys wey dey play ball near him and other people cars wey pack for that side. Many people pass their waec exams for maths and physics, or just got better, with the subjects after broda Akin teach you. Broda Akin also dey blaze choco well for night, he also sabi play ball well well. He dey even play for the town team. I hear say he move go Ebonyi state, but he etch for our memory. They were a few others, but I no too know them like that but we see them. For ozubulu Anambra, na egbun fisayo those years. Egbun fisayo, dey teach us boxing. One day wey egbun fisayo go try one guy wey no sabi am, for ozubulu, egbun knack am gba gba, na so that guy use one kind foot work wey I later use in my later years, he use that foot work, catch egbun off guard, lift am up slam am for ground, as e wan begin work on am, egbun beg cun tap out. These saudi Arabian slaves are funny people. They think everyone just learns arabic and waits for orders from Saudi Arabia.

Please tell us what you people actually did.

These liars are not saying what they did.

In America, not everyone supports lgbt or whatever, but if you kill them for no reason, you face the law. Many states don't even want to acknowledge them. many European countries don't support them, but they don't kill them. And America don't do nothing to them. Same as Asia, north and south Americas, and middle east, even Egypt, and many african countries. The USA don't care how you do them. For the USA, they are saying they will give them rights, even USA banned them from contesting in gender sports; they just banned one fool*sh transgender from ever going to the White House, because the he/she misbehaved, when Biden was trying to show them support from the targeted discrimination going on against them in many states in the USA.

The American haters first tried to blame Obama, now they want to keep blaming Biden. Biden's stance has not changed. He supports their freedom like others, under the law of everyone. Biden also supports immigrants that are targeted by Americans. Biden also supports Asians targeted by other races who are blaming all asians for the chinese coronavirus. So, why are the incompetent and killer arab influenced ugandans blaming Biden for their own incompetence and killings.

In Uganda, for the past year, these law makers have gone out of their way, to incite people to go and bring out any suspected LGBT whatever, and kill them in public. All it takes is for someone to identify a person, and you are gone. Nigeria is not all in on the LGBT whatever, but Nigerians don't go around killing them or any suspects.

Another truth is that, the Ugandan lawmakers are incompetent at their work, so they focus on inciting their citizens against the few lgbt in their midst. Russia and Saudi Arabia, saudi Arabia has so many gays, but they are using the opportunity to paint America in a bad light and make them allies and suspicious of America.

In America, there are way more heterosexuals than any other, even people protest about trans related advertisement, or any form of trans teaching.

Ogbeni, e be like say you don watch too many jack Bauer series. That scenario is highly unlikely in the real world.
First of all no vehicle or truck could stop a nuclear attack. Nuclear is radiation, you need feets (not inches) of lead to shield from radiation (gamma) or you go underground.
Secondly, there are gas masks thar can protect against most types of chemical attacks. Even soldiers in wars use gas masks as protection and not vehicles.

Finally, an attack that would disable all the multiple layers of security around the president will most likely succeed - chemical neutraliser truck or not. The president vehicle is not only bullet proof but also to some extent bomb proof. If they can eliminate the dozens of vehicles in the presidents vehicle and the hundreds of personel in the presidents security, they would eliminate the chemical neutraliser/ fire truck vehicle also, and get to the president.

The Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri was assassinated along with dozens of security details when his bullet proof and bomb proof car was bombed in 2005.

I am still waiting for links to the fire truck that you claim follows US presidents, UK prime minister and other country's presidents, particularly when moving around in their own countries.
you go wait tire.
na only me get google? Wetin do your hand.
I dey comot DC this evening back to Naija, I dey stay 16th st for a week now, their number 1 dey 14th st. I still see convoy this week. It is actually a modified truck for chemicals, if you know, you know.

guy, you are still in backages small, there are proven gamma shields chemicals that can shield for 30 minutes to an hour or a little over that, even plant engineers can use a lower version of that, and those chemical masks are good and all but many will be used with chemical shields on d day of armageddon. Masks alone will not save you when your skin pores are exposed. Of course, everyone thinks their own will work, and your enemies will try to know what your chemical compositions are, so that they can compose a more credible weapon.

These leaders own, are moreso for rogue elements like terrorist, or a vicious infiltrator, etc Not really for a credible adversary like russia or china. But who knows where their research capabilities have led them to.

who doesn't know they have mine resistant under carriage. Just in case, it is a mine that would release other things, more than a blast, is why they move around with catalyst or neutalizers.
Politics › Re: Cameroon, Niger, Benin Citizens Lament Fuel Subsidy Removal In Nigeria by viodemus: 10:16am On Jun 17, 2023
nairalanda1:
Good point.

But, and this is the issue...the real problem with subsidy is not the smuggling. Smuggling is part of the problem, a symptom. Not the real issue.

The real issue is that the production cost and transport cost always rises.

As an example, let's pretend that fuel is still being sold at N65 a liter today.

In 2012, the landing cost of fuel at January was N99 per liter. As at May 31 this year, landing cost was N378. As at September 2022, landing cost was N502.

Now subtract N65 from all those sums...and subsidy costs rises from N34 per liter in 2012 to as much as 437 per liter.

Add these facts

1.Amount of fuel consumed is rising year in year out.

2.From 2014 April to 2021 December, price of oil...source of most of our forex...iecrude, has been below 100 dollars, and even as low as 30 dollars for some time. That reduces our ability to earn forex...and pay for our budget...meaning we have to take loans...and have been taking loans.

Now 1 and 2 have an effect on our budget.

But we have to pay for subsides...so we keep on paying a large amount of our budget...until, assuming fuel was N65 at 2022, we would have been paying far more than what we earned in revenue for subsidy....and we would be borrowing for federal spending, and paying part of the subsidy.

Sounds crazy, doen't it.

Now even with partial removals, manifesting as fuel price increases, we are spending 96% of our revenue on subsidy payments, and borrowing for the rest, plus for budget spending.

With all that in mind, we can stop smuggling, close the cracks....and the problem won't end.
You also made some great points, but these are known facts.

Let me follow up on the analogy I brought up earlier about the roaches in the house.

We clean up the house and block holes in the walls --- we build our refineries, get serious on oil and gas management. * Tinubu is not the only corrupt one in the country. Many people are stealing oil and selling them, on land and sea. The majority of the sea bed around ph, akwa ibom, and cross Rivers, are covered with oil. If you notice, Europe, asia, and even Ukraine is not complaining of oil again since the war, because they can stay on the high sea and use mini submarines to run flex pipes to the places their high imaging
satellites have shown them, then they suck it at will, while some might come the normal way and try to do land exploitation officially --- and tolerate the corrupt official contacts they meet.

My point is, leave it as is for now, while you build your electricity which can help you when you build your refineries. It might take him 4 years if he is very serious. but we know that most Nigerians are not serious, definitely Tinubu.

Blocking it, is like locking yourself in a place and flushing the keys; now for you to come out, you have to break many things, and then repair and do a new key lock with new keys. The agriculture is suffering, the logistics of things are suffering, electricity is suffering, infrastructure of all kinds is suffering, education, manufacturing, etc are suffering. People morale is at an all time low. Transportation is expensive (personal or public). Some things are done better with good timing, for better transition.

The truth is that, he had and has to appeal to the people, and bring out their best spirits, which can make people feel renewed, and feel like they can help, which can help him make that 4 year goal a reality or even less, because many experts - potential and experienced, will feel like they have to contribute. And maybe shun corruption to make things work. But when everyone sees that the head is ingrainedly corrupt, they will be going in for their own personal success. Then it becomes a vicious cycle.

Leadership is not a child's play. This guy is not a qualified leader especially in times like these. He is looking outside for them to come help him, but those people are looking out for themselves.

In summary, he could have left it for now, and even try to make it more excessive, while he diversify and do electricity and refineries, not just Dangote. Am talking country own refineries in all regions, and also encourage well planned private ones. We waste lots of oil anyway. I wish your calculations were respected by all, but no, they have other plans.
Politics › Re: Tinubu Adds Fire Fighting Truck To Presidential Convoy by viodemus: 9:38am On Jun 17, 2023
wirinet:
I never knew other presidents have fire trucks in their convoy following them up and down. Please can you provide links to verify such claims.
The Americans, chinese, russians, have it. Including an ambulance.

What sillybu does not know is that, the truck is more than a fire truck, it is more so a chemical neutralizer for chemical attack and even a nuclear attack. If you successfully attack the convoy or the truck itself, the fumes and chemicals has the ability to create a neutralizing shield within a certain area, giving the security time to quickly assess, and make fast adjustments, like put mask, jump out from one car to another undamaged car, and dip out of there. Without that, they attack might overpower their mask and temporary body shield. Yes, it also has fire retarding chemical to quench a successful mine or regular fire. But overall, theirs, is part of a tactical strategy in precarious times.

Those are serious countries. Places like UK, some asians like Japan, do only ambulance convoy, but that chemical truck - that the Nigerian dun^ce thought it is just a water thing --- is on standby, not far away. But sillybu wants to drive around doing guy, with algae infested water tanks. The maintenance on those trucks is top notch in great countries, like the other cars in the convoy. The Nigerian side is aloof to these technicalities. Theirs is for ego tripping and wastage.

Serious countries are no joke for a reason.
Politics › Re: Cameroon, Niger, Benin Citizens Lament Fuel Subsidy Removal In Nigeria by viodemus: 9:16am On Jun 17, 2023
Many people do not burn down their house because of a few roaches. What a rational person would do, is clean up better, block some openings, and maybe spray the house.

He just wants to control the subsidy money, and divert as much as possible to his and associates pseudo accounts. Plus un official oil wells that he will be given and some he will seize.

He is so mentally and physically lazy, that he doesn't know how to honestly help the country. Someone so used to stealing and taking a personal financial cut at everything he can. It is a hard habit to break away from.

Moreover, those countries were buying the fuel, it wasn't free. We have an unbelievable amount of oil, so it was selling very fast. Mismanagement made us not get the best of the oil blessings.

The fraudulent criminal is also a waste machine. Wasteful Ahmed aka stealibu and a 24/7 sillybu.

He wants to keep up with the joneses. Who told him that he needs that. oh because he saw American, Chinese, Russian, french, uk, and some well to do country's leaders do it. But those are serious well to do countries. What he should have done, is say, keep one truck at the fire dept on standby if he is going out. Something that can be 5 to 10 mins away if he feels some kind of way. He doesn't trust the north again, the whispers on the street is that they are telling him not to shuffle the security system, as not to offset the hisba/bh dominance in the security apparatus.

He is so criminal minded and surrounded by criminals, that it beclouds his judgement. Nigerians were warned, but their tribalist sentiments hindered their judgement. Nigeria is in for a very rough ride. Someone that his country cannot boast of 24hr electricity, is trying to rub shoulders with leaders that are past that, and run advanced societies.

After his first couple of international meetings, he will then know that he is not on that level he is forming. My fear is that, he might get even more criminally inclined after that, and am talking of an already very advanced hardened criminal.

you are joking, in a fair market, nigeria should be $1 to 1300 naira or more.

it is oil that is keeping Nigeria afloat, then they are also adding other suppression mechanisms that are using to keep it low.

A country without at least 60% reliable electricity is like 500 lower, then if that country is not really productive and their financial system is too shady -- that's like another 350 to 500, then enabling environment like good roads or transportation for logistics --- that's like another 300 to 500, then security, education, resources management, that's like 250 to 400. we have lots of oil that is really more than Saudi Arabia, so that gives nigeria like 550 advantage, that is it. The rest is suppression to keep it where it is.

Floating the naira now, is naive in my view. It will help mostly smart people with funds, but not the populace. if he can't level up in a year or 2, he runs the chance of creating an even worse situation.

He should build an indiscriminate infrastructure as much as he can. Also open the ports in ph, akwa ibom, cross Rivers.

They are many things he can do, if only he can avoid letting his criminal instincts becloud his judgement. A long term criminal might see that as a huge sacrifice to give.

I admire your courage about shielding yourself from his indoctrination. I just hope it was not a charged atmosphere where you might have confronted him aggressively. You didn't say that was how it played out, but I hope it didn't go down that way.

At 18, you still have a lot to learn, even at a higherage. Am open to learning, listening, and taking corrections if applicable, at my age (and am now over 18 years, older than 18. Just remember, you can get your point across to him diplomatically, even if your dad was initially aggressive. You can hold your points in until later, then one on one, you can engage him in a mature conversation.

One on one, my style used to be, --- Daddy, I felt someway about that thing you said, earlier/late yesterday/whenever (hopefully not too long ago). or I honestly feel/felt indifferent about .......

then he might say - what is it? what do you mean? or aggressively answer you.

then you go from there.

at some point if he wants to just yell or gragra the whole conversation, then you can point that out, after he shows that style of actions multiple times.
--- daddy, you see what am saying, this is one of the actions that hinders our points from getting across to each other.

You will also need to be prepared to absorb his initial or the early conversation engagement heat. Two hot heads trying to converse, is an explosion about to happen. So you will have to engineer a relief port.

One of my way, was, ----- daddy, I hope you know I love you, but you don't want to let me talk about how ---- i have been paying bills without help from those neighbors you complain about.

As long as you did not personally disrespect, steal, destroy or disrespect their property, put them in danger, ----- then you have something to say.

One time, when I was younger, I was sitting in the chair, not really watching the tv, but there was an American movie playing, there was a conversational engagement between family members, ----- that's where I got that format from, and then reengineered it to my own format, and with continuous engagement, I refined it.

Sometimes, the solution is to listen for short or long periods of time, and then say okay I hear you, I will make adjustments or consider your advice.

You both can learn from each other.

Oh soon, stealibu will be forced to do even worse than that, afterall na him be slave to the arabian slaves.

A time might come when igbos will have to ban islam in the east, like china, Russia, all of asia, etc have done. We should say we are banning it for 10 years, but we should have a way to extend the ban for eternity. Afterall, does terrorist trainers Saudi Arabia anything non islam? No mosque, no arabic prayers, no road blocking to pray, that is, no former Saudi Arabian, hardened criminal, shall be praised as a prophet or God in the east.

They are trying to expand in the USA and Europe, but they will never succeed. The only time we can build a mosque is when we get creative, like mosque beer parlour.
