Finding it hard to book a ride self. No much drivers despite the long waiting time.

Bolt should do upward review the fares so we can get enough of them on the roads
If they do upward review, how many people will be able to pay ?
A far that used to be N1,000 can now be N3k. WHo will pay ?
This increment will affect the middle class and the poor. I doubt if there's any middle class again.

TravelRe: Things I Found Out About Sweden! by vislabraye(m): 5:02pm On Jul 20, 2023
CalmTravels:
Things I found out in Sweden.

• I paid commission to exchange my US dollars to Swedish krone! Foreign currency is actually not craved for here like we do in Africa

• Everyone is helpful, nice & kind. Can give up their food for you. Their social welfare system is the best in the world.

• It's a totally cashless economy here. Yes, you actually dont need a paper money. Everything is digitalized including buying anything!

• Everyone works. The bills are crazy so any krones is needed. The Swedes are naturally, big, brawny, smart and strong. So working hard is never a problem.

* Work resumes by 10 am here due to weather changes. I mean formal jobs, not non skilled jobs.

• During summer, the sun doesn't go down. Meaning, there's no night. You can get sick due to body adopting these time changes. My first night i Stockholm, i slept around 1am without knowing its that late.

• Its really stable here. Count your self lucky like me if you have access to Sweden, it takes a lot to get their papers! Their paper can straighten out some shits in your life. I am a testimony.

• Stockholm is an idea City to raise up a child as everything is cool, lovely and good! World class primary & secondary schooling FREE.

• Crime rate is really low. Yahoo, fraud or other social vices can not work here. You will be caught easily as there are traits to everything you do

• Swedes are normally thieves, they are the original Vikings or sea faring thieves of past, so to curb that natural trait to steal, the government has done a lot to ensure everything can be tranced, this gave rise to a cashless, contactless economy that has proved to very efficient! In order words, it has made the Swedes to be law abiding because off what use is it to steal when you know you will be caught? Well, their prison is better than most average homes in Africa!

• Transportation is relatively fixed. For 3.9$ (39SEK) you can get a ride on the bullet train to anywhere in Stockholm for 75minutes. No other fee applies.

• Beside Rent, food, anyone can survive in Stockholm without much of a deal! With a Salary of $3000 per month, you'd live like a king! Especially if you work remotely!

• You don't really need public transport/a car to move around city, except you are hopping from one island to another. A scooter or bicycle would be more helpful!

• Swedes are Innovative, they have customized bicycles to various roles in the house, or work.

• I prefer living in Stockholm than anywhere in USA or Canada.

• The gap between rich and poor is low compared to France or UK. Here the richest man might be that fellow riding an electric scooter, or drinking low beer with you in the pub.

• Most houses in Stockholm do not have physical keys... They use codes type into the door to open. So if you have no business there, you gat no reason

• Almost everyone drives a bicycle, or scooter to move from one place to another.

• Sweden is really expensive to live in, but has one of the highest quality of life you can imagine.

• Everyone drink tap water. It's squeaky clean & safe. pH value is almost 7.0 on the dot!

• I met several Nigerians, most of them left Italy to reside here. They're always preferred before other African nationalities.

• Nigerians here, as in Kigali keep the law.
Thank God for this thread. I once applied to a school in Sweden way back. Didn't pursue further cos of other stuffs.
I think why people choose UK or US is because of English. If not, why would i go to UK with all their problems ?

no other race on earth finds a black woman attractive an average white man would rather turn gay than marry a black woman quite deceiving yourself you are a lost course outside your race if you were to live in an all white city you would remain single for the rest of your life as a black woman any non black man that marries a black woman did it because he can't get a good woman from his race
.
Na gay dey their eye in that case.
On the average, black women are prettier. You compare women of the same age group from 20-25, 30-35, 40 and choose.
But mixed race is usually the prettiest.

Why would you come to the public and make it seem that you were forced into the marriage?

MS247:
cool

You must learn how to negotiate salary with your boss

Tell them confidently you are ready to work diligently and honestly but a 25k salary needs some side attraction for you to be effective

You have a conversation like....

Sir; due to increase in cost of living 800 daily isn't enough for me to work effectively

Then you go further....

Sir; My feeding cost 600 to 1000 daily
My transport cost 200 daily
Accomodations cost 60,000 anually

Please would you be open to negotiate my salary further I will be very happy

.
Even 10 years ago, that money was nothing. I used to earn 30k as a teacher many years back. I was able to survive cos I was managing in my family house.
I just used the money to buy some few personal stuffs. If I spent a little fot leisure, the money go finish. You can only survive with that amount if you're living with someone.

I laugh at you guys who say sex is overrated. If it were overrated, you would only have it once or twice. Worse ase scenario, you wouldn't have it more than 10 times in a life time.
The problem here is that men get tired from one sex partner. If you have the kind of status David O has, you won't hesitate to have sex everyday.
Just imagine if you have 100s of women chasing after you everyday. You won't be saying this.

amadil14:
Good day all,
I met my wife 4years ago, before we got married she told me that she has a boyfriend and she do call him pet name as ( MAJESTY) and I do see it wen ever he calls her not until our relationship became strong and we eventually got married.
However, before we got married my wife changed her sim card entirely and even till today I have never witness any strange number call her and we have been happily marriage.

Not until last week, my wife older sister gave birth to a baby girl and we both went to visit her and the baby with gifts. Infact my wife took along with her so many things in our house including baby baff my mum bought for her wen she put to birth.

My worry now is that, my wife sister named her daughter after my wife ex boyfriend and that has been disturbing me because the name still rings in my memory and I'm yet to know why among so many names on earth why I'll she chose (MAJESTY) as a name for her new born?

Note: this my wife sister is not yet married, she just got pregnant for a married man even as I write, the married is claimed to have traveled to London.

Please ur kind advice is highly needed.

Thank.
It's disrespectful. SOme women don't even think before they do certain things. SHe's still into her ex boyfriend for her to do such. I don't know if they still have something together.,

This country has been retrogressing under APC

Nigerians can no longer afford basic things of life they could conveniently afford in 2014.

Nigerians wake up and take back your country.
It's now very obvious that majority of Nigerians are tribalistic. I remember how Nigerians protested when GEJ increased fuel price to N97 per litre. APC and co. started protested. Tunde Bakare and Wole Soyinka led a protest walk to freedom park in Lagos.
Fast forward, when PMB increased it to N195, they were all quiet. Today, BAT has taken it to N540 and still climbing but they are not saying anything. They are rather praising him for removing subsidy. They are happy that their tribesman is in power. You increase fuel price without increasing minimum wage. There are Government workers that have to pay 3ce the amount they pay on 30k. How do you expect them to survive ?
Let us see. All of us will suffer it together. SOme f**lish people are saying the government will favour me. Let's see how it will happen.

okito:
Let me start by saying you can successfully relocate abroad at 40. I left an oil company job Nigeria at 40, relocated and within 5 years, I now have footprints not only in Nigeria but in 2 North American countries. The western world is such that you can be what you want to be cos the system is an ideal one. However, the truth is Nigeria is a promising country and lots of people in Nigeria are doing better than some people in diaspora. So, ask yourself, do you have conviction about relocating cos if you are not convinced, stay back and make it work. it's not a bed of roses in Europe or America but if you are hardworking, resilient and surround yourself with the right people in diaspora, you MUST make it!
This is the best advice i have come across

Not only Nigeria is divided but the division has seared into the churches...

Even pastors now preach it openly every Sundays.

Don't tell me that the pastors are Igbos as major churches in Nigeria are anchored by Yoruba men of God.

As the division has now taken religious undertone; that once united country is now heading into tatterrs
Na the plain truth be that. Look at the pastors in Christ Embassy as well as the pastors in MFM AND RCCG. Most of these pastors are from the same tribe as their GO.
I once attended a mid-week service in MFM Port Harcourt when they were appointing new pastors. All of them were Yorubas.

I recently secured admission into a state university in the north. And as an intelligent guy, I was noticed the first day in class. My first class was fun, the female lecturer always point at me to respond to questions.
She later asked me where I came from, my goals and all that.

Two days later, she invited me to her office where she asked me few questions. During the questioning session she was looking at me straight in the eyes while smiling in a sexual manner.

That was how we got so close and I finally got into her pants. This lecturer doesn't want to see any female student close to me. I'm truly in love with her too. I'm seriously taking it into consideration to propose to her.

Love is Sweet!❤️

She saw her son inside the car and she was like 'kelvin wetin u dey inside person motor' the young man was shy and had to deny that he is not the one I confronted him. Continue..
That's the effect of materialism and peer pressure. Maybe he had lied to his friends that his parents that he is born abroad or that he goes to Canada for holiday.
But that being said, why did she shout his name, "Kevin wetin you dey find inside person motor?" Is it wrong for him to have friends that own cars ? It's sort of embarrassing. This calls for emotional intelligence.

PoliticsRe: Households Under Pressure As New Electricity Tariff Due July 1 by vislabraye(m): 2:19pm On Jun 19, 2023
Flets:
Before we all get carried away with the media propaganda, here are the summary of Tinubu's government to date:

1. Fuel subsidy is removed and you will buy fuel for 500 to 900naira per liter (depending on the exchange rate). The savings will be looted like that of kerosene and diesel. There will be no commensurate succor/ palliative for your suffering. Instead of going after the subsidy thieves and stopping the smuggling across boarders, they have transferred the responsibility to the helpless Nigerian people.

2. Naira has been devalued (though they call it floating). The FG has handed over the exchange to the market forces where speculators and banks are king. Naira continues to fall in the I/E and parallel market. Anybody who tells you Naira will appreciate is a joker, for a corrupt country like ours, the banks and speculators are the new cabal and will drive the rates how they deem fit. Don’t believe…. Just observe. What most don’t get now is that CBN now has no obligation to provide FX at a particular rate to the market, as such the new FG players can access FX from CBN without noise.

3. FG funding for tertiary education has been removed. Students will pay upwards of 400K tuition fee starting next session. A lot of students will drop out and cannot complete their education anymore. The so-called student loan will be almost impossible for an average student without connection to access. Guess what happens to the savings from this funding…. To be looted by the same people who have impoverished the nation.

4. Electricity tariff have been increased (without increased production) and will take effect from July 1st. This is a death knell to small and medium scale businesses. You are now stuck between the devil (PMS at 550naira per liter) and the blue sea (extra expensive electricity tariff).

5. All the FG has done so far is abandon almost all responsibilities it has over the people through the bills being signed since May 29. All Tinubu has done is to make available funds to be shared by him and his goons at the expense of the people. Not a single bill or action aimed at ameliorating the suffering of the already downcast Nigerian people rather adding to the pain in the guise of elitist policies

6. Guess what…. None of these policies have any impact on the political class and they have not made a single sacrifice. Same old political criminals are back in power, Gbaja, Akume, Asari Dokubo etc and you expect any real change apart from increased suffering?. How do you expect Tinubu to pay back the these same criminals who supported him into power?

Nigerians…. Suffer no dey tire una?
reaThat's a gloomy picture. We just have to wait a and see. I don't have full confidence in this man. I wish he proves me wrong. He was part of the people who brought PMB to power.

After his death, his wife has been getting closer to me, always calling me and visiting me and am still single. I have had failed relationships in the past. I have been so unlucky with the kind of ladies I met. They are always violent and disrespectful which I dislike so much.

But during my cousins lifetime, she was so good, cool and caring to my cousin and they never had any misunderstanding and they married for just 6 years here in Port Harcourt before he died and they never had a child due to infertility on the side of the cousin. But now everyone like friends and family knows me and scared if I should make advances to her if they won't be saying things against me or should I just forget and look for another lady to marry.

Pls i need ur serious advise. She has fallen in love with me already.
