2 whole days off? Thats y he's not som much in form. Thats way too much. Eto is a more established player no doubt about it. He made his name is barca, hes really good. I still believe Eto and Barca did not get along well |
She's a good presenter. Whiney sexy voice, thats also cool, So she school 4 Yankee? |
This is a smart move. They just need to have a good MOU, Let me see who will sabotage the refinery |
sheriffman:True Talk, Drogba is on form, we give that to him, although we know he can cheat. That has always been his area of expertise. When Samuel Eto was in Barca, there was non like him in Africa. Henry was the closest to Ronaldo the phenomenon, but not like him. ( I marvel at some man U fans we say CR is as good as the phenomenon) |
omar22:What about Ancelotti? He won two CL with AC Milan, was at the finals 3ce and he's doing well with Chelsea. Is he much older the Mourinho? Just 50 years of age. Mourinho is not a bad coach, he's good but his mouth is better than his technical depth.
Thank you very much! ^^^ See wetin him dey call fluke. Idiot!
must you insult? |
Footballers a decade ago especially strikers were better than the present. Look at players like Zidane, Baggio, Romario they belong to the same generation and they have no comparison. When i think of strikers like Ronaldo Delima , gabriel batistuta, Klinsman, George Weah, Viali, Ivan Zamaro, Marcelo Salas etc, i dont see much strikers in their class. In this present day football, there is no striker as good Ronaldo, Even Torres doesnt come close. I don't know the reason anyway, but thats just the observation |
Henry is not known for cheating. Through out his years in Arsenal, his record was impeccable. But to ban Henry from world cup, no way. Is handball the only way of cheating? What of people who dive or simulated injury? If FIFA should ban Henry, then they should ban every player that simulates foul. No2Atheism:Excellent point. Meanwhile FIFA should be thinking of ways to improve the game. Instead of Platini ( Or Sepp Blatter ) to make constructive suggestions on how to move the game 4ward, he was suggesting that women footballers should wear sexy jersey like lawn tennis players to play football. Let Henry be. One might even argue that it was a reflex action. If you are thinking of the worst cheats in world football, they would be CR and Drogba |
When Barca gave away Eto plus forty million euros for Ibra , I became very curious. I wanted to know what was special about Ibra that Barca is making such outrageous bid. So far, Ibra has blended better for Barca than Eto has for Inter ( I stand to be corrected ). Ibra has done alot of assist, and has scored superb goals. On the other hand, Eto seems to be struggling at Inter; he is yet to fully integrate to their style of play, though he has scored some good goals and created assists. Nevertheless, I think Barca shouldn't have given out Eto because he was very good with them. But i think there's more to it cos I heard Eto was becoming too difficult to handle and Barca had to path way with him. |
It's high time someone asks this question. Mourhino is just a good PA system. He's as mouthy as Mohammed Ali ( But they can never be in the same category ). Mourhino's main strategy is to be a nuisance to the opposition by saying they are not good. It is this obnoxious mouth of his that made Roman to fire him, and i don't think Chelsea is worse off. He lacks game spirit, he doesn't take defeat easily. That's why Benitez said Mourhino is a friend to those he can beat . Really, i don't think he's better than Mancini. What he can boast of is his unbeaten home record which is circumstantial. Jose is just a good coach, but a genius, no way . A Barca without messi or Ibra dealt with him. Roman's money made him very successful and journalists are thrilled by his big mouth. QED. |
Hmmm, They should learn to post their pictures, me inclusive , |
@poster, If they can toast her in your presence, imagine what they'll do in ur absence Men just relax. If she wanted to leave u she would have, so need to have hypertension. Having a pretty babe is a plus cos if u get one, there is every possibility you can get another. Rather she should feel insecure instead of the other way round, Abi u wan poor acid for her face so that no man go toast her again? |
Scared of marriage but not scared of doing the things married people do abi? . Ok |
She's very beautiful and a very lousy actress. Mixed races are usually very beautiful, if i see one i go marry am ( but not her), For whatever reason she doesnt want to marry, na her quanta |
At least i know that Nairaland is different atleast. If IM can be introduced into the forum, it would be the bomb |
There's no comparism. mathematics is far more technical than law. I can take a semester and do very well in a law course, but i don't think any lawyer can do same in any maths course. Most misconception people make is thinking maths is the same as arithmetic or limited to addition and substraction. When u get higher u'll begin to see many other sides in mathematics |
Fashola has great ideas, but another question is how would it be implemented. And who is a true lagosian? Is it those people who are born a breed in Lagos or people who migrated from other states? How would it benefit the general populace? Does it mean that the non-indigenes would be asked to leave? Must you know how to speak Yoruba before you would be call an indigene? Lagos is the most cosmopolitan city in Nigeria, and many people of other tribes have come to settle here. He should take that into consideration. There's something common in many of our leaders/politicians. They know how to make laws without considering the side effect(s). I hope that is not the case with him cos i'm a bit skeptical. For instance the privatization of Lekki- Aja express Way. People paying money to move from one part in Lagos to another would have its adverse effect. The cost of living would sky rocket. Imagine people living in Aja, it means you can't leave home if you don't have enough money. He should think of eradicating those area boys who collect money rather than erecting toll gates and make commuters pay additional fares, Right now i'm in PH. Let me hurry back to Lagos and get my ID card before LASTMA or police lock me up. ![]() |
Imagine. Is her property spoils of war? |
Men, you have a complex. How did she get attracted to u in the first place? If she's sooooo beautiful, u should expect that men would wink at her, but u should not get upset with that. If u do, she'll sense your insecurity and in other words, you are saying she's too sophisticated fro you. One day, she'll jettison you out of her life. |
The people in HiTV are not fools. Every business focuses on a niche or develop an area of competence. HITV is known for EPL , thats their area of competence. They've invested so much in it at the expense of other aspects. If every TV has equal rights to show the program no one would make money for sure. It would favor we, the viewers and not the marketers, Its the same thing as world cup matches, only one TV station would be given the right to broadcast |
Good 4 them, but they should improve the quality of their transmission. i have DSTV at home, and there are times my favorite teams have a match and i just can't leave the comfort of my home to watch them in a viewing centre. But apart from that, i congratulate them. i wish they can give this DSTV a run for their money. DSTV prices are outrageous and they've been ripping us bad. The moment your subscription runs out, they shut you down instantly even on weekends. But HiTV should improve on their services i.e the quality of their transmission. GTay: GTay:How can they all have equal rights to air the same program? Exclusivity pays |
@meine, You sound like a bible scholar. I'm very impressed in the way many of u guys in NL analyse doctrine. Tunde Bakare is very sound and i think his criticism is constructive. I don't see anything wrong in scrutinizing the doctrine you hear; it is something that is expected of every christian. Its a different thing when one starts castigating the other person, Nothing should be taken personal. The scriptures says call no one father( the also includes Daddy or Papa ) which many christians accord to their leaders, hence making them GOD. I've heard of a guest pastor who rebuked all the members of the church he was called to preach because the pastor of the church was not driving a state of the art car. There are so many irresponsible men on the pulpit. If one listens to them, he/she would go astray. There's this same preacher who claims that he works 18 hours every day, he has never been hospitalized or taken drugs for many years. |
Can he speak French? French is a beautiful language to learn, they should make French courses more accessible to the general populace |
I read his interview in Saturday Sun; he's makes alot of sence, especially about the state of the present church. For instance, there's too much of showmanship and entertainment. I think the church has a major role to play in fighting against corruption and the ills of this nation. But it is these pastors that are very friendly with the corrupt officials. And i aslo think that some of these churches are too concerned with erecting magnificent edifices. As for the issue of prosperity preachers, it has taken another extreme. I was at a crusade held at the penninsula opposite 1004. I remember vividly that the preacher ( Kalajaiye ) said it is only the poor people that want Jesus Christ to come quickly. Then he asked the congregation, " do you want Jesus to come now?" They responded with an emphatic "NO". That is the biggest blasphemy i've ever heard. If someone had told me, i would have doubted. But i witnessed it myself, These guys dont know where to draw the line btw materialism and true wealth. Its sad. |
Naija factor everywhere. It is naija that is spoiling Naija. Any multinational where you see Naija people in power, there must be runs going on. @phuk_NL, from the way you speak, you're giving the impression you have superior intelligence. The poster said he passes, but you are saying he failed. Where you there? |
Money good oooo. If one has good success and a bit of character, he can get any babe he wants, Yobo enjoy your babe jare |
Its a free world, to choose or not to choose whoever one wants to marry. But i think there's more to his dumping her than her grades. By the way is this guy a 1st class product? Success and intelligence has much more to do with other factors than grades alone. I hope this guy knows that girls sell their body for marks. But any way, its his personal decision |
Port Harcourt is a very unsafe place to live O, If these militants wanted to prove a point, why not go to Abuja en mass and kill the politicians? These so called militants deserved to be killed in gas chamber. I think the federal government should be looking for ways to eradicate these criminals from the society. |
To be sincere, i think most Nigerian women bare their husbands name. Its usually the celebrity women who still bares their fathers' name. Its usually becos its quite difficult to transition from their father's name to their husband's after they've become celebrated, apart from that, i think women should bear their husbands name. |
Two immature teams. The quality of the game was low. The performance of the big name players was just too scrappy and sluggish. What a waste of time. But for that scrappy goal it would have ended a well deserve draw. They need to learn from gunners. Those youngstars would teach the agbayas on both side football 101, the basics of passing. I know Man U fans will always blame the ref. when it doesnt favor them. But when they won matches due to poor officiating they dont complain. Nonsense. |
It has become a habit in NL for people to insult themselves over differences. Pls guys and girlz lets show some maturity. If a woman happens to be successful, you cant blame her for it. But i have noticed that alot of ladies who want to pursue their careers usually forfeit other vital areas. They see marriage as an additional baggage for them. I have heard of a very successful lady who had already buily her own house, bought cars and living large. when she was asked about marriage , she replied " what do i need a man for? I have everything i need"/ Thats the attitude some ladies carry. |
