Here's a wet dream I have been experiencing lately....

Imagine that the country has been clearly delineated into the original six Geo-political zones, with each zone contributing the best of what it has been known for, prior to independence.

SW: region was the powerhouse for export produce such as rubber and cocoa. Just this region rivaled Ghana and Ivory Coast in cocoa production! Don't forget the gold and limestone deposits!
SE : region noted for palm oil and commerce. Folks from this enterprising region knows no limit when it comes to trading. Integration was never their problem. Add that to the coal deposits.
NC : held sway with food crops such as yams, tomatoes, onions, beans, groundnuts...you name them. Add that to iron, tin and other minerals!
NW: was noted for quality hides and skins (leather) and cattle
NE : Noted for cattle, hides and skins
SS : Fishery, rubber, oil palm produce.

We got oil, we got independence, and we all lost our senses! The Black Man mentality got us in a choke hold. For how long are we going to practice a system of government that hasn't lifted us out of this quagmire of over 50 years? Don't people get wiser anymore? Regionalism is the way to go.

Well, since the bulk of our political leaders have suddenly gone deaf and dumb over the issue of the rampaging herdsmen, we are not to eat any other food except beef. Fried meat for breakfast, barbecued beef for lunch, and go to bed chewing a strip of kilishi.

I am totally fed up with a country that doesn't know a true and immediate danger when it's around the corner. If any other people except the Fulanis were wrecking this havoc across the country, the northern oligarchs would have fully armed every almajiri to lay to waste the rest of us.
Somebody should tell Bubu that ranching doesn't require a genius. Even stark illiterates can score A+ when it comes to this very simple concept of animal husbandry.

All these comments about fulanis/hausas to go back to their land are quite amusing. If the igbos too are to go back home, who do u think will suffer most? Note that the igbos in the north are more comfortable than the fulanis/hausas in the south. A very simple example; who benefits most in the north-south transportation business? An average Hausa man is very simple to do business with because he is not greedy. I am not Hausa, but I patronise the business of other tribes only when the hausas man is not available. Common satchet water is still sold at 5 naira in most northern states today because even the hausa manufacturers are contented with the little profits they make. There are still 20 naira okada drops in most northern states today.

Igbos are their own problem while they points accusing fingers at other regions, you can imagine with the recent killing in the nearby state of Enugu and the outcry for Fulanis to leave igbo land, one of their governor is saying he oppose it. Beside is another indication that the Igbos cannot live on their own independent of other Nigerians, you see the reason Nigeria government cannot support the Biafra agitation of the igbos.

You only need to look at leicester and realize why Nigeria sucks at football today. They are playing the way we used to play under westerhof. The conventional 4-4-2 formation, fast attacking wingers, and every single one of them has pace. Not to mention big mutherfuckers as defenders. Our politics especially as youths has to go beyond Buhari vs GEJ, APC vs PDP, north vs south, etc. it is one of the shackles dragging us back as a nation.

On the issue of the IMF list, I still maintain it smells fishy. We all know the IMF a strong political tool of the US, and along with the World Bank, a major way it (the US) controls its puppet nations. Only few would fail to note the stark coincidence between the timing of this list and the refusal of the present administration to dance to their tunes just a few months ago.
As in, do you really mean to tell me that you believe Nigeria is not one of the top 5 fastest growing economies in Africa at present, not to talk of a Top 15 list?
