Certifiedboss:
You just spilled total trash. Your kind will expect your brother who can't afford to recharge his phone to have a gf. Girls are always setting standard for guys that non of her brothers have every reached , not because they want the best for the bf but because they are after their own comfort which they can't get on their own . In a relationship you see girls wanting their bf to have a car just as if the ladies are scared of going in to a car shop to buy a car . I dated a girl back then , whenever we are going out she will be complaining that she's tired of using public transport , but her father has never bought a car , her three elder brothers who are much older than me and her married have never bought a car , and I'm doing very much better than her brother who's about my age . The question is , if she can understand the financial difficulties that can't make her brothers provide the necessary comfort for their wives whom they already committed to why cant she understand ours that's still on the preliminary stage ? And as for a man being successful and his name being heard than that of his wife . It's still same with a successful lady. Forget the fact that Mrs Folorunsho (Richest Nigerian woman) is still answering the name of her husband , What do you know about her husband ? Nothing . She's still the famous one cos of the money . Ladies should learn to earn . I've dated a girl that earn money and it's much more easier and less stressful . They take care of little challanges on their own. How can a girl be asking her bf for 200 card ? If she can't get that for herself what then can she do for herself ? Most Nigerian girls are so last to the bone that even after graduation they wont even type their own CV . You will see a girl months after graduation she still doesn't have her CV ready . They just want to be on BBM daily and beg money for everything . SPECIAL S/O TO THE GIRLS THAT PUT THEMSELVES TO WORK
Lol. My guy chill jare. I no know how rich the op be or her parents. It's only when you are making your money that you can complain of not wanting broke guys. I don't know why guys are dissipating their energy to explain things to her. grin .

Funny thing is, she is right in some aspects. Just as guys like to show off with thier beautiful babe. Girls like to show off with thier well paid n good looking guy. She can't sell his hard work to her friends. You can't introduce an ugly lass to my hommies. They will phuck you up. Buttttttt. I have noticed that the only girls that have these financial complains are broke girls. So its not good. Just as ugly should not marry ugly, broke should avoid broke. The writer looks like she is looking for a moral justification to free the guy. Leave us out of it.
Go and make your own money.

I still can't comprehend the fact that eople are complaining about this killings.
Who is fooling who? Army debunks killing the shi..tes and they saying there was a massacre.
I want to categorically say this..... Nigeria hasnt been healed from tge scourge of Boko haram, which also started like the same shi..tes movement and now...hmmm. let's all just be reasonable with ourselves, why are they confronting the military, if they aint up ti something too. Are they even a legitimate group? Yes, tell me about right to peaceful gathering, but they exempted that as soon as they faced the governmental agency saddled to protect them. To me these particular set of people are dangerous, hence killing them is very essential before they start causing another problem. Nigeria must work and exist, free from all internal and external aggressions.

Pls remember i have my right to feel this exact way
Are you serious ? shocked . You don't have conscience oh. And you are a lady for that matter (assuming you are a lady). So the Army should kill people they perceive as being dangerous huh

By Senator Iroegbu in Abuja

The Nigerian Army has berated Amnesty International (AI) for its recent report on the clash with members of Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) in December 2015 in Zaria, Kaduna State, as too hasty, partial, judgemental and subjective.

This was stated at the weekend by the Director of Army Public Relations (DAPR), Col. Sani Usman, in response to THISDAY’s inquiries about the latest allegations by the AI about the deadly confrontation with IMN popularly known as Shi’ites Islamic Sect.

He said that the International Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) was in a hurry to publish what, it noted, was a premeditated report without waiting for the constituted Judicial Commission of Inquiry set up by the Kaduna State government and National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) to submit its report.

“Please note that if there is any report from Amnesty International as you stated, we believe it is hasty, partial and lacks objectivity. The NGO should understand that Nigeria is a sovereign nation and it should be respected. Already, a judicial commission of inquiry is in place in addition to investigation by the NHRC,” he said.

The AI had on Friday accused the Nigerian military of mass slaughter of hundreds of men, women and children by soldiers in Zaria, saying that the attempted cover-up of the alleged crime demonstrates an utter contempt for human life and accountability,

The human rights watchdog said it has published evidence gathered on the ground revealing how the Nigerian military burned people alive, razed buildings and dumped victims’ bodies in mass graves.

The body claimed that the report titled “Unearthing the truth: Unlawful killings and mass cover-up in Zaria”, gave a shocking eyewitness testimony of large-scale unlawful killings by the Nigerian military and exposes a crude attempt by the authorities to destroy and conceal evidence.

The rights group also stated that more than 350 people are believed to have been unlawfully killed by the military between 12 and 14 December, following a confrontation between members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) and soldiers in Zaria, Kaduna, state.

According to the Al’s Research and Advocacy Director for Africa, Mr. Netsanet Belay: “The true horror of what happened over those two days in Zaria is only now coming to light. Bodies were left littered in the streets and piled outside the mortuary. Some of the injured were burned alive,”

“Our research, based on witness testimonies and analysis of satellite images, has located one possible mass grave. It is time now for the military to come clean and admit where it secretly buried hundreds of bodies.”

However, these claims was dismissed by the Army Spokesman, who said that the rights group is acting out a script together with the IMN.

He noted that “he NGO’s hasty report is against the principles of the Amnesty International itself as it is pre-emptive and judgemental”.

Make una keep quiet. When the army under Gej killed bokoharam, AI attacked the military and the opposition were happy with it. Buhari is now in power and the army carried out a holocaust on innocent citizens, yet they want AI to praise them. Which kind mumu we get ?

1. We can't just have a day off without receiving numerous calls from annoying set of toasters and so called friends.
Like seriously? Can't you guys just keep to yourself and don't bother us? You call morning, noon and night and all you keep saying is "how are you, how was your day, have you eaten, what are you doing at the moment, OK I will call you later" are you an FBI agent? Mtchewww undecided

2. We are tagged as flirts. This especially I hate to the bone. Even here on nairaland. So because she is pretty and she clubs and dresses with swag does that mean she is an olosho? Too many kids in this country undecided

3.we can't just walk without being noticed. OK, I am not all that pretty but can't I just walk pass a street without guys stopping to say hello? Can't i just go to a store to get something without someone offering to pay? Can't i just eat in peace without you offering to pay my bills and get to know me in the process? Leave me alone! angry

4. Too many DM, PM...do I need to say more about this? I get nothing less than 100 messages on fb in 2days. I am lucky, my bestie gets more than 500 messages daily grin she had to delete her fb messenger because the messages are just too much grin
Even instagram isn't helping matter. Should I start with nairaland too? angry

5. We are tagged as unserious students. Imagine someone saying the pretty ones are the dumb ones why the ugly girls are intelligent. Just imagine, well my gp speaks for me. Not all pretty girls rely on their beauty

6. We are called lazy and dependant grin this is the funniest grin
I have 2 jobs and I pay my bills myself. why will I want to depend on your peanut? grin

7. They call us proud. This is saddening. Sometimes it is just about having a high self esteem not pride sad

I am proudly PDP to the bones but With due respect to Jonathan, his achievement is FOI law, road construction/upgrade and Phone call. Shikena!!!

This doesn't mean that the present occupants of government offices are anyway better.
His point is that, he made Nigeria economy more stable and as a result, Dangote became the richest African and 5th man richest in the world. It should be noted that Dangote does his business in Nigeria.

Let Buhari and co do better.

Even with an 'ineffectual baboon ' as president, we never suffered such a protracted fuel crisis as we are seeing. At least he was effective in ending scarcity. This administration is totally clueless and cannot seem to figure out how to tackle this issue. DPR issues threats and their staff go behind and take kickback from station owners. Fact is tankers are being diverted to those areas where they can brazenly sell at 180-200 naira per litre...those that are not diverting sell at the dead of night to black marketers else tell me how those countless people standing on the road selling in jerry cans get their fuel...unless of course they have their own import license. I know so many people are battling with weight issues. I decided to share these pictures to motivate others no to give up. I used to weight 110kg, i wasn't happy cos to get fitted clothes is a problem. I tried using some drugs to lose the weight but it wasn't helping. I was just too lazy to exercise or diet cos i love food so much.

Then something happened that triggered my determination to lose the weight in a very healthy way, which was dieting and exercising. The only exercise i did was skipping of rope, i jumped rope 30mins everyday. So within 5 months of skipping rope and dieting, i lost a whopping 34kg.

Although my goal was to reach 70kg but Nigerians with their mentality, they were already insinuating I'm HIV positive or I'm suffering from eating disorder. I just had to stop at 76kg, also they said I'm ugly and not good looking anymore. My health is very important to me, I'm healthy, smart and light. Finally i don't spend 6hrs while shopping for clothes anymore, i spend less than 2hrs cos i easily get my size and the best. I love myself but my health is important....
In addition, go for weight training.

with this policy, investors from nigeria can invest in this sector without the fear that another carrier with unlimited capital base can run it out of business (and charge us drastically after) and also govt will be able to generate revenue from it.
Nigerians pays for this flight and all the money is taken to anither country....

Just watch as 'ultimate defenders' will invade this thread and call this development a good one, they will call all these international airlines thieves for complaining about the difficulty in converting their profits to dollars. Hailers will say 'let them go, we don't need them' as if a nation can grow in isolation. How will our economy grow when foreign investors aren't coming and the few ones we have are leaving? The implication of this development;
1. Job loss for the workers.
2. The remaining airlines will probably inflate their prices.
3. This decision may force others follow same path.
4. News like this further discourages foreign investors from coming to Nigeria.

Which foreign investors will come to Nigeria when you know you can't convert your profits to dollars?

I'm still battling to know how any news of foreign investors leaving our shore is a good news, but many will hail this just to always support govt policies even when it hurts the economy.
