Very Interesting. I find ancient history to be quite fascinating. I had never heard of the Nazca Lines nor the Underground city in Turkey. I have since read more on Wikipedia. Thanks Op for these insights into past secrets. ![]() |
Thanks Op |

My best would forever be that Thermocool Ad where they lined all the models of fridges according to size and this dude with weird clothes who memorized all the features about each fridge, opens them up and starts talking so fast: "10 cubic feet of frizz free freezer, a fridge freezer never looked so good, see the Z 300 its Nigeria's most popular fridge. Whatever model you choose, they would keep drinks cooler and foods richer. We call them the Thermocool creation...You call them beautiful![/i]" Or the 3 cartoon lions - Lion, lioness and the cub dancing and singing about Trebor (Peppermint, Fruities and Ginger Orange)! Then the Corona students using different musical instruments and advertising Bata Cortina sandals! Chei!!! ![]() |
Godmother: 'Awon boys' will blow powder and the next thing will be complete darkness everywhere. By the time the light is restored, dude would be naked. u know! |
Loved it! I honestly got lost in the pictures. Amazing capture of history over the years. I didn't even know we took part in World War 2. Or we rode Chariots for goodness sake! The cars, clothes, uniforms, architecture, personalities I only read about it social studies textbooks....just amazing!!!Thanks Op. |

cupid4ig: i don't think u understand what he is saying. for example go to konga.com and search for blackberry Q5 u will see that konga is selling #32,000. and then u will see other sellers in the same konga.com selling the same Q5 for 35k 37k and 38k respectively. the point is when u want to buy a product from konga look by the side of the item listed u will see sold by konga or sold by ...... the seller name. i just tire for some people.Ah, I see. I get it now |
Yoney007: For the love of God, Konga is a market place where different traders display their wares....If you have a point to raise, do that without bastardizing Konga itself.I actually disagree with you here. The independent traders who sell THROUGH Konga do so based on the premise that Konga attracts a certain number of people daily on their website and hence, they can increase their sales channels and profits at the end of the day. The OP purchased the goods THROUGH Konga (a company operating legally in Nigeria), got her receipts for items purchased via the site BEARING Konga's name and logo. In fact, got the entire service delivery package - Payment notification, Email confirmation, delivery etc through Konga and no one else. That Konga decided to increase their stock without bearing the cost of the inventory on their books via "partner dealers" is not a consumer's business neither are the attendant risks associated with that model those of a consumer. She is completely justified in complaining my sister. |
At least his underpants look clean. Next!! |
Chinwem: Wow! He spent 5 whole days in Lagos . Hope he didnt use airport taxi o!!No the didn't. Apparently he was a senior official and had a liaison Officer and a staff driver attached to him on arrival at the airport. Both the driver and the liaison and even 2 nannies (don't ask me why ), are all been part of the 50 odd persons been monitored either as Type 1 contacts. |
A growing number of offices disable links to Facebook etc. in my opinion, more people are guilty of number 2. Nice one OP. |
OP, since you claim from your moniker to be a sincere Nigerian, please what is your true reason for opening this thread? |

May his precious soul Rest in peace. |
Isn't it unethical to directly use a competitor's name and brand in an Ad? ![]() Apple should think of suing. |
Ope o! A good note definitely. Best of luck to all our contestants #TeamNigeria ![]() |
Ok, this is no longer weird but scary. How many ill fated mishaps are we going to hear in 2 months? If it isnt the air, its ships capsizing! Whats happening to the world ![]() |
I think the plastic and reconstructive surgery industry needs to be seriously regulated. Surgeons should not be allowed to perform more than 2 procedures on the same individual without the person undergoing some form of compulsory mental or psychological evaluation. This would definitely apply in the case of the Wildstein lady, cayman and lizardman. they may be adults but that doesn't mean they always know what's right for them ![]() |
The Curious Case if Benjamin Button. chei, that movie eh |
