"That this solemn Call is first and foremost premised upon and born of our belief that subject, Yahaya Bello, is a fit and proper person, with the right mix of youth, experience and track record to answer same firmly and decisively in 2023 and beyond.
"That we make this Call aware that only the North Central and the South East Geopolitical Zones have not occupied the Offices of President and Vice President of Nigeria since the advent of the 4th Republic in 1999.
"That we must, on behalf of our people, register our pain and frustration with the attitude of some of our compatriots who persist in treating the North Central Geopolitical Zone, and in particular descendants of the ancient Kwararafa Kingdom which stretches all the way from today's States of Kwara through Kogi, Niger, Benue, Plateau to even Taraba as third tier citizens and mere adjuncts of the 'North', utterly and totally disentitled in their own rights from the two top leadership positions in this country, under any democratic sharing or zoning formula.
"That this unfortunate attitude was again exemplified within the last 2 weeks by major leaders of our Party the APC who, in separate interviews with the press, propounded a two-way split of the Presidency between a hegemonic 'North and South' based on an alleged 'Zoning Formula' which has suffered so much sea change as to be unrecognisable in any current iteration.
"That we demand, in the interest of Equity and Justice, that in the 2023 General Elections both the Office of President and Vice President of Nigeria must be ceded to the North Central and South East Geopolitical Zones by the rest to peacefully arbitrate or contest for".
Speaking to newsmen after the plenary, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Matthew Kolawole said the Assembly will continue to enlighten Nigerians about the advantages of having brave, young and intelligent President come 2023.
He said: "We have made our case. Nigerians are very reasonable. Kogi is selfless to offer our God-given Governor to Nigeria".

Yes, the Yorubas, particularly their elite wants Nigeria to break up but are afraid to come out openly to voice it because of the consequences. So they're hoping for IPOB or the Niger Delta militants to fight the North so they can use the opportunity to declare Oduduwa.
Yorubas know that oil has gone past its prime and since Nigeria utilized the oil boom resources to develop Lagos and build up its infrastructure, Lagos is now strong enough to not just support itself but also support the entire SW/Oduduwa so Nigeria can't do more for them anymore than they can do for themselves with Lagos.....
What South East really want is a big bite from the pie - presidency.

Can't the youth in the north look up to their fellow southern youth and fight against all this calamities for once.

Adeyanju said with the spate of bandits’ activities, Buhari may be kidnapped soon by those criminals.
In a tweet, the convener of Concerned Nigerians lamented that Nigeria is going down daily under Buhari.
“Bandits have also abducted 7 police officers in Niger State. They killed one officer in the process.
“Bandits may abduct Buhari soon. Our country is going down daily but Buhari is busy hailing himself,” he tweeted.
Bandits were said to have ambushed the officers in Mariga Local Government Area of the State.
The incident had led to the death of one of the officers, while others were abducted by the bandits.
Not even in the infamous Tiannamen Sq massacre in China, where the relatives of victims defied the brutal Chinese dictatorship to demand justice for their loved ones.
So what is the deal with this Lekki situation, and why have DJ Switch and CNN failed to bring forward even ONE relative of any of the persons they claimed were massacred, to confirm their assertions?

According to the Chairman, Barrister Adesina Ogunlana, it is illegal for the governor to preside over the Panel as he is an involved party, and an involved party can not be an investigator in a case he is indicted for.
The lawyers said that it would have been a different case if the Governor had initially accepted that he invited the military as the Chief Security Officer of the State, but he made the disclosure after the army's revelation.
The Lawyers said it is not possible to be the Accuser, Investigator, and Judge in a case and so the government's involvement has affected the credibility of the panel.
