SonofDevil:Unfortunately for you and other enemies of Governor Makinde and Oyo state, those disgruntled elements are not LGA chairmen and councillors. They are fake LCDA chairmen and those LCDA are not recognised by law. |
Afamed:And you are being stupid and ridiculous. |
seunmsg:Is LCDA recognised under the laws of Oyo State and Nigeria at large? That is a technical knock out against the rampaging APC, expelled chairmen and councillors. |
Afamed:That is my opinion and it will definitely sound clueless to you especially since we belong to different school of thought. The case is in court already so you should wait for the outcome. However, LCDAs are not recognised under the Nigerian laws so technically, the position of the fraudulently elected councillors and LCDA chairmen are null. |
Afamed:If it can be proven that those elections were not done in good faith and were compromised. Makinde should conduct another election and kick all those guys out of office. |
solmusdesigns:Makinde must find every means to nullify that election that brought those guys into office. It was callous of Ajunobi to conduct kangaroo election when he was about to leave office. |
unitysheart:Which election brought them into office? Was it the one Ajumobi conducted when he was about to leave office? The AGF and APC are simply trying to frustrate Makinde's government. |
ehbellsho:Please find your sense of reasoning, you seem to have lost it. |
SangoOlukosoOba:This one dey pain you abi? |
I like the epistles that you wrote about the Dantatas and Dangotes dynasties. I appreciate their wealth and contribution to the society. However, there are a lot of silent and wealthy people in Nigeria that you do not know. Most of them source dirty money, they cleaned the money, are in the process of cleaning the money and are still cleaning the dirty money till tomorrow. A lot of them clean the money through Dangote and some other business entities. In other words, the Dangotes dynasty is a success story that is still being written as I write despite that it is driven by dirty money and proxy investments. The major actor - Alhaji Dangote - is a front for some rogues, politicians, government officials and money launderers. This is my personal opinion, speculation or position. You don't have to believe me. |
LabDNA:And I assume: your position on the Nigerian movie industry is your truth. Please read: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinema_of_Nigeria |
LabDNA:After Nigeria's independence in 1960, the cinema business rapidly expanded, with new cinema houses being established.[14] As a result, Nigerian content in theatres increased in the late 1960s into the 1970s, especially productions from Western Nigeria, owing to former theatre practitioners such as Hubert Ogunde and Moses Olaiya transitioning into the big screen.[15][16] In 1972, the Indigenization Decree was issued by Yakubu Gowon, which demands the transfer of ownership of about a total of 300 film theatres from their foreign owners to Nigerians, which resulted in more Nigerians playing active roles in the cinema and film.[17] The oil boom of 1973 through 1978 also contributed immensely to the spontaneous boost of the cinema culture in Nigeria, as the increased purchasing power in Nigeria made a wide range of citizens to have disposable income to spend on cinema going and on home television sets.[15] After several moderate performing films, Papa Ajasco (1984) by Wale Adenuga became the first blockbuster, grossing approximately ₦61,000 (approx. 2015 ₦21,552,673) in three days. A year later, Mosebolatan (1985) by Moses Olaiya also went ahead to gross ₦107,000 (approx. 2015 ₦44,180,499) in five days.[18] After the decline of the Golden era, Nigerian film industry experienced a second major boom in the 1990s, supposedly marked by the release of the direct-to-video film Living in Bondage (1992); the industry peaked in the mid 2000s to become the second largest film industry in the world in terms of the number of annual film productions, placing it ahead of the United States and behind only India. The truth is that Dangote Group of companies is operating with several proxies funds. Dangote's net worth actually comprises a lot of people's fund. Those people are trading in proxy, some of them are cleaning dirty money through Dangote. That is the reason he gets his way with every government in office because any attempt to hurt his business is an attempt to devalue the investments of a lot of these politicians, individuals and government personnel with dirty money. I have got no qualms with Dangote or his business strategies however, I wonder why he seems to be bent on deploying a lot of trucking from Lagos despite the traffic problems in Lagos, the potential risk of these trucks on Nigerian roads and the wear and tears on the roads. Why is he not thinking pipelines to move his products from the refinery. Except he is planning to engage the services of tanker vessels to ship to some other regions in Nigeria before trucking from those tankfarms to several destinations in Nigeria. I also hope he is targeting the local Nigerian market primarily. |
Otsam:Oh, I didn't get the sarcasm initially until you clarified it now. |
Xisnin:Law is about equity, fairness and justice. Just conotes justice so when cases are declared unjust, it indicates injustice. My point to you is that unjust isn't meaningless in the context of law. |
Afamed:Does this mean you only understand corruption to be stealing? Can you please find the definition of corruption. |
Afamed:Can you define corruption? |
Xisnin:"Unjust" meaning: not based on or behaving according to what is morally right and fair; Not fair; characterized by injustice : UNFAIR 2archaic : DISHONEST, FAITHLESS. See https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/unjust://www.google.com/amp/s/dictionary.cambridge.org/amp/english/unjust |
digitaltrades:I strongly believe that Mr Buhari is no man of integrity. I see him as a dishonest man. |
UthmanUnique:The parents should acknowledge their mistakes first and let the trained professors and facilitators guide the kids, the parents should stay in the background when that topic is up. |
I assumed that GEJ is no longer with PDP especially considering his, and his wife's, stunts during the Bayelsa gubernatorial election. He and other expired leaders of the failed PDP left the party decimated and bloodied in the struggle against the dark forces of APC. They left the party leaderless and with no vision or purpose. Tell me who leads PDP today and I will identify them as charlatans, selfish, untactical and purposeless persons. Unfortunately, the evil APC has taken over government, impoverished the people, relegated merit and competence in preference of Nepotism, Partisanship, Ineptitude and NorthernHausaFulaniCracy leadership. The nation is badly damaged by the current deceit, disingenuous, sectionalised and corrupt personality packaged as Mr integrity. To think that the evil APC was able to deceive the electorates and Nigerians initially and subsequently rob Nigerians of their power to elect in daylight emphasises the failure of the PDP and particularly Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. GEJ had every opportunity to be the best president Nigeria ever had but his carefree, unintelligent, drunken and clumsy nature allowed his thieving cabal and associates to fool him, destroy the nation and steal the nation's resources dry. Little wonder he said stealing isn't corruption in public. Anyway, I don't want to dwell on the recruitment eror, failure and scandal called GEJ. God will punish all the deceptive and failed leaders of Nigeria that started, perpetuated and sustain the underdevelopment, backslide and decline of the Nigerian nation, especially the evil APC leaders that reduced Nigeria to this shame. |

baby124:We will be waiting to see you come here to complain and seek sympathy the day your husband beats you up too. I am certain you have no husband or you have received a lot of beating from your husband too. Besides, these adjectives are to qualify your father and every of the husbands you will marry "Idiotic slowpoke. Silly brat." Certainly, you will not last in the various husband's homes. |
baby124:Did you just mention my father? Well, there is no point having this conversation with you, your husband or man will definitely teach you some manners soon. That is always the case with brats, like you, that are poorly groomed. |
baby124:How sick is your own husband or man? That your spouse or man doesn't complain when you order him around or decide for him does not mean every man must accept that behaviour from you. Some men will not give you that privilege and that doesn't make them mad. |
Mrsprissy:There is a build up of negative emotions and perhaps anger in your husband over time towards you. The fact that he was good with you prior to the display of anger and beating does not mean the negative emotions were not there. You must have been complaining about his choice of clothes in the past, that wasn't the first time you selected clothes for him to wear and he objected or complained and that is part of the negative emotions that was built up. You provoked the emotions by repeating the behaviour of picking clothes for him to wear. However, he went for his own choice of clothes yet you despised and disapproved his choice yet again. That behaviour provoked him but he reluctantly went in to change his clothes. You noted that he took close to an hour to change his clothes. He must have been fuming in there and trying to calm down. This should have been a warning sign to you but you overlooked it. He came out with a different shirt but every other attire remained yet you went ahead to request a family picture and I can bet that you made a condescending, cheeky or disapproving comment in that situation. You might have been saying some negative comments behind his back when he was in the room and you felt he didn't hear you but he probably heard you. Think about it, maybe you forgot what you said or chose not to mention it to us. I am sorry you got beaten by your husband on Christmas, that was not good behaviour from him and he knows it. That is why he is avoiding you afterwards because he is disappointed in himself, still sad about all you said and uncomfortable facing you. Anyway, we need to create an environment where our spouse and kids feel comfortable, ease and less pressure around us. I don't like being too careful at home around my wife, it makes me tensed and prone to more errors. Let him wear whatever he is comfortable wearing to wherever, there are polite and pleasant ways of communicating your message to your husband and getting him to do your bidding without making him feel less of a human or despicable. As per his current behaviour, be nice to him, keep cooking for him, pray for and with him. He will come around soon. Best regards to your family. |
