Good Evening Everyone,

Please is the rating of a University an important factor to be considered before accepting an offer for a Msc prog ?
How important is rating when it comes to getting a Job after school/What are the chances of getting a Job after finishing from a lowly rated University.

The gurus and experienced ones in the house should assist.
My brother if you really want to go to school, go to school and forget about rating. Look for an affordable school and enrol. After graduation the highly rated and the lowly rated will fight for the same jobs.

I will also like people who have a similar background like my self to help out on how they got ENGINEERING jobs in the UK after masters
My first professional job after bagging a UK degree and Msc in Petroleum engineering was at a railway station in London. I Worked there for almost 2yrs and gather my work experience. After 2 years got a good engineering job and the rest is honeymoon…. You won’t struggle for jobs as an engineer in the Uk especially a mechanical engineer. You just need a bit of tuning of your CV and some work experience …

So women should bring their husbands abroad but men should not bring their wives.

We don hear you. I just pity the lady that will marry someone that has this kind of mindset. Thank God not all men think this way.

Please be clear about your intentions whenever you want to marry so the lady will know what she is getting into.

I'd definitely advise women to marry and bring their husbands overseas because men in the western world do not value marriage nor have interest in having a family. So to avoid being only _fucked and dumped marry a Nigerian man.

Men and women are never the same. Never equal, nor the same and never will be. Get it?

Honestly, it is so appalling.

What’s appalling mr man?
If the roles were reversed would it still be appalling for a woman to beg her husband?

I would never marry nor advise anyone to marry a Nigerian and bring her over to the UK or any gynocentric country.

In this case the woman brought the man to the UK (The husband is her dependent)… would you also be advising women not to bring there husbands overseas?…
Nothing I no go hear for African muscularity

i wasn't evil. minded, I believe it was just her own way.

But now I know better
Bros I think you should try to resolve whatever the issue is with your wife. Even if she was the aggressor. My reasonings are based on the fact that you’ve got about 6 months left on your visa. This type of battle go take time to win and it would affect your mental health. so if you can resolve it before it gets too far please do so.
But While you trying to resolve it, also be preparing your plan B. (Immigration lawyer).
If things work between you both, please try and make sure you have your name on the tenancy agreement and some utility bills. It would help you if this type of thing happen next time.

What can we do please? We need all the guidance and advice we can get. Especially as we are relocating with our kids and want the best option possible.
Madam in my opinion even though Bradford is a shithole town. It will be cheaper, and more convenient for you and your family than living in 2 double room in a shared flat with your husband and 2 children. The wahalla you go face for that arrangement go worse pass racism oh. Your husband can get to university easier and your kids can integrate easier in Bradford. Talking about “racism”, there are Asians also in Manchester, everybody experiences a bit of racism even the white people. You can get a decent 2 bed accommodation in the outskirts of Bradford/ Halifax which would be comfortable for your family of 4. If you are not happy after 3 months when you guys must have settled down you can change houses….. my humble submission

Help pls !!
Or should I just keep looking for an apartment within my budget that has all bills inclusive?
How many occupants are in the flat share? If it’s just 2 people it’s ok for Sheffield. But if more than 2 persons just forget about it. Also like the other person advised, look for all bills inclusive if you must rent in a shared flat.

What led to this is that he's a narcissist, disturbing the whole house with his shenanigans just because the mother of his girlfriend refused to come settle him and his girlfriend. BTW his girlfriend's mother lives in the same house.

He comes and puts on loud music, leaves the kitchen door open both doors whenever he's doing his washing. All these, I couldn't take it anymore. I'm not against him getting at his girlfriend's mother, but he shouldn't do it at the detriment of others. We are 7 seven in the whole house, if we all starts being annoying like him, would he be able to take it? I closed the kitchen he left it open and he called his brother on the phone and his brother asked him what he was doing with a black guy.

Basically he punched me for calling him out as a racist.
My brother you are trapped in a family brawl. The number of people trapped/ living together in that accommodation is a stimulant for disaster like this to occur now present and in the future. Press charges for the assault and not on racial grounds and get your ass out of the flat. Live in accommodation with fewer persons preferably amongst fellow students . (Not necessarily Uni accommodation).

Remember you are outnumbered in that house. Boyfriend, girlfriend, girlfriend mother na co. Just move Biko before you become statistics God forbid

assault is assault. whether by a 'fellow' black kid, a yellow kid, a green kid or a purple kid.
Not everything is about race. Not everybody with light skin is white. In Nigeria we call Indians, Chinese, Lebanese, Pakistani white (oyibo).
Also noteworthy is the fact that the Scottish/ Irish people are constantly being racially abused by the English white people. So when u want start playing the race card, be sure the idiots involved are actually racist and not just acting the part.
On a personal note I sometimes feel my father in-law is racist when he is drunk because of the constant jokes about Nigerian scammers other things Nigerian but then I blame the shayo

You can apply anytime after your 60 months. The extra months are for any circumstances that keep your abroad for less than 5 months.

Spacing your text makes it easy for people to read.
With this information I think I should be applying now instead of waiting till January next year .

Very bad break. Yes thats the plan. Looking for a good one to support because that £10k ehn na real ish. and pay within 14days grin grin
Sorry to hear this.. Getting a lawyer involved will cause more harm than good. It’s best your brother seats down with the insurance company and workout something. He might end up not paying the entire 10k. If it goes to court he’ll have to pay there cost as well as his legal fees if he doesn’t win. I don’t see any grounds for argument wit the insurance company. Just try negotiate and ask them to reduce the price. And set up a payment plan. That’s the only way out I think. But I might be wrong

When they do good, they are defined as British through and through. When they do bad, they are defined as ''British-Nigerian''.

Mo Farah has never been described as British-Somali even though he was born in Mogadishu. There is also a reason why they shortened his name from Mohamed Farah to Mo Farah.
Him for no get knighthood if him still dey answer Mohammed Farah. Imagine knighting a sheik or Iman? grin

Why the UK cannot simply place a ban on him, I wonder.... All he can do too, is ban back in return & expel UK ambassadors.......

They should advice him to build and equip at least 3 hospitals in Nigeria.........
Why would they ban him na. Who no like better thing?. African politicians are the highest patrons of overseas hospitals….
