So in your mind tinubu is coming to fight the north and the northern governors that put him in power will fold their arms. That is far from it, he is only fighting his perceived enemies, people that were against his presidency but leaving out buhari. No president can do away with the north.
MightySparrow: You dey try Tinubu. He is a politician you can't dare. Our Igbo people must build a structure first before asking for presidency. By the time Tinubu will be leaving office, the north will not be the same again.
I am obedient, but I don't see Obi, who was coming to tackle only the economy and leaving out the bad structure that is giving us bad economy.
I pray Tinubu will further weaken the northern structure. Before Obasanjo, there was nothing like six geo - political zones. Today, Obi can win in Nasarawa state and Lagos states
Igbos should please team up with Tinubu and south - south. It is only then we can throw the northern yoke off our necks!
See the appointment of southern Kaduna man as the head of the army. He will be a fool to allow fulani herdsmen to annihilate his people. They will collect.
maasoap: That's why I laugh at mumus supporting fuel subsidy removal for the masses. Whatever amount they successfully divert away from the masses will one way or another ends in their pockets. I mean, why should an oil producing nation not enjoying fuel (kerosine, diesel and petrol) subsidies? First of its kind among all the oil producing countries! Now, people with personal cars can't go to work in it. And the people who removed subsidy are still getting fuels free of charge or paying for it with our common resources.
Poverty is the root cause of all the problems the country is facing and we cannot eradicate poverty until we start boring the right people into power that really want to serve the people and not to acquire wealth. Politicians use poverty as a weapon to divide and conquer the people.
Has nuhu ribadu come out to make a statement that all these men he persecuted he did so under the influence of obasanjo.Stop defending politicians they are not worth defending in nigeria we shouldn't let the change these guys throw around to becloud our judgement. We need to build strong institutions so we can have a better society.
Kay25: I don't know how old were u in 2006 but if u were old enough u will know that all that was said by ribadu was on influence of Obasanjo..these men were the one against his third term bid so it was basically political persecution..go and find out
They share poverty in the county and throw around handout to gain supporters that don't use their brain. The most surprising one is even the so called literates that said they went to school still reason has illetrates, how can this country be better.
In 2006,the EFCC Chairman Nuhu Ribadu, before the Senate, listed 5 govs as the Worst Stealing Governors as:*
1. Orji Kalu , Abia State 2. Ahmed Bola Tinubu , Lagos State 3. Ahmed Sani yerima , Zamfara State 4. George Akume, Benue State 5. Abudulahi Adamu, Nassarawa State
Today, in 2023, 17 years after.
Orji Kalu = Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu = President Ahmed Sani Yerima = Senator George Akume = Senator now Appointed by Tinubu as SGF. Abdullah Adamu = APC Chairman.
The then EFCC Chairman Nuhu Ribadu that did not prosecute Tinubu, appointed by Tinubu to be Special Assistant on Security
The Senate is currently headed by another EFCC regular, Senator Akpabio still under prosecution for stealing billions
It's like our own electoral college make them dey there dey deceive themselves we would definitely take the country back from all this blood sucking APC and PDP politicians.
discusant: No. But because the president also acts as governor of Abuja, that's why the Constitution made it mandatory for a president to score 25% of votes in Abuja capital territory before declared winner of a presidential election. A presidential candidate can win all the 36 states, but if he fails to win 25% of votes in Abuja capital territory, he cannot be declared winner of a presidential election. The constitution is not ambiguous on that.
In 2019 even buhari knew he lost the election and power of incumbent determine the case the same is going to happen in 2023 as our judiciary have sold themselves to the highest bidder. It is said he who pays the piper detect the tone.
donphilopus: Same Oluwole graduate, Wole Olanipekun won Buhari's case in 2019 for him. Your so-called Livy Uzoukwu - who's Obi's lead counsel today - represented Atiku then and Olanipekun took him to the cleaners with his legal prowess.
I know you're too young to know this but Google is there for you to confirm.
The one una chop for buhari regime never do una.How many SME are actually in the North bank of industry have those data and it was shared that way so money don't go to politician s and then embezzled. The govt of each state should start promoting people to engage in business so they can get larger share of this grant/loan in future.
SOSinNigeria: Lol, make una dey play. Smart Nigerian leaders when men were in control, prevented a bigot like Awolowo from ruling Nigeria. They knew that a tribalist like Awolowo will destroy Nigeria's unity if allowed to rule.
However, the dumbass called Buhari, allowed a worse tribalist to take power. Buhari is the most useless and demented person to ever rule any country.
Anyways, this is just morning. No be to give monkey banana be the issue, na how to collect am back!
Just try to paley up with the bosses.i guess you organization is more of a political space so you have to play politics.when you gotten the attention of who that can further your cause then you tell him your issue and see how he can help you with the HR.
Nigerian govt have not been transparent in SME funding, most people that get the loan have no business idea or business itself.Politicians have been using those program for political patronage, we need to get this funding to the real business people and you would see growth. Forget all these conditional cash transfer, Npower, Trader mini, all these were waste of our resources and a drawback to our economy, when these program started I said these program would yield nothing but only make our economy worse and also make people poorer.we need to make people work so that wealth can be created that is what makes an economy grow. It is the duty of our govt to support SME through low interest loans to aid productivity which inturn will curb inflation but not categorically improve our exchange rate but who cares about the exchange rate if we produce what we use without any need for the dollar?we cannot alley rely on investors to build our economy as most of them ae ornhe short term. One doesn't have to be an economist to know what would work for nigeria.we have failed most time to include the human factors in our analysis and that is why successive govt has failed.
jaxxy: This is meaningless. SME support is doesn't work in a harsh business environment. What is business and plan? We already have SME programs running with no results because of the economy.
We have scam feeding programs that people need to be probed and arrested.
Supporting more SME even if successful will not reduce inflation or improve the exchange rate.
SME program support are not for short term fixes bt mid/long term.
Transportation palliatives in What manner? Will the Transport workers reduce their fairs or we want to subsidise the brt and how sustainable is that?
My point is palliatives even with the best execution like in civil climes were accountable is well monitored is meaningless if the issues with the economy are not actively addressed and tackled. Palliatives are very temporary and mean nothing long or mid term.
So what is your suggestion? Palliative loans should be given to SME(anyone with business and plan that has applied and not ghost businesses as they did during buhari time) and also Transportation palliatives(in form of Transit Buses, intercity Rail networks, loan for car conversation), then before increase in minimum wage. Then government can get back these loans and get more taxes.
jaxxy: palliatives loans will not fix the economy or reduce the hyperinflation caused by the subsidy removal.
palliatives is even a scam in Nigeria hoard by government and their cronies.
Which registered companies. Is companies making money or companies on paper.Stop calculating rubbish, govt can go after politicians and companies that they give contract jobs too(by man know man) to collect their tax from.
vanitybutiwanti: please stop misleading people, from the link you posted, it says 4,501 companies and 167, 272 tax paying individuals not business enterprise, civil servants are included in that bracket. Now calculate the number individuals working in registered companies in the states listed above, the number of tax paying individuals will be running into 500k - 1 million
Tinubu has made them relevant again. That is why it's good hold unto your state you govern by putting loyal and competent people who will work for the benefit of the state. Then they will in turn support your ambition. Most of these guys are irrelevant in their party.
Lack of education is the main cause of over population. An educated couples knows they shouldn,t be bearing more children than they can cater for.so our leaders are the major problem because they actually need this population for their own ambition and they ecourage poverty so we can have more population growth.
Oga we can never get sense the wickedness is inbuilt.Tribalism, religion, ethnicity is only the fuel to the wickedness,my neighbour will not suceed syndrome. These are what is killing nigeria.
bjdon: It should drop to 1000 self. Nigerians MUST get sense by force. I'm fact part of me wants the courts to not give PO justice. Let Nigerians Suffer for the next 4 years. By 2027 those that are still alive might finally have sense, and vote wisley.
Oh transport palliatives is a scam too?Transport palliatives to farmers is a scam too?Always think before you talk.
Khyrvxjzy: bro paliative is a scam, come to think of it no paliative can equate that petrol na, unless we won dey use d money from petrol chop bread...
Subsidy removal was just to have free money for them to loot. The money will in no way be used for good to develop our infrastructure.
Johnrake69: Expect dollar to trade for #1000 in December. Nigeria needed massive cut down on waste. But instead we chose to continue on same path. We never start.
The so called subsidies removal is already a failed policy.
Oil theft is still happening brazenly and no one has been prosecuted. But subsidy removal will solve every Nigeria's problem. Make we dey play
Bros JM don't need to beg for investors if actually he is trading and can compound easily.Even if he is trading he doesn't make that kind of profit steadily.
In crypto and forex trading, mouthwatering profits can be made within a scope of time. I have traded myself last month and had over 300% of my small capital within 2weeks, (though lost some to the market later). So, with discipline (which bots have), if JM promises 63%, its not out of range.
Moreover, there is no harm in giving trial to any available opportunity with whatever you are ready to loose now. Life is about risk. I can see sincerity in what JM is saying and how he does his things, so, I lend him my support as an investor.
As per over $100m that someone claimed withdrawn out of the wallet address, trial live trading is ongoing presently before the general trading that will involve all. Is it not with money in his custody he's going to try it?. Abi, you expect him to ask people to bring in more money ni? We really need to be sincere with ourselves sometimes.
We shall all be here to continue our discussion when AAS bounces back, then, those castigating will go behind doors to register, that's if there are not registered already. Very bad. Mtcheewwwwww.
But they would have handedbhim over to the police or still since you know he steals bread why not sack him.
jacobson662: It happened. But I was later told that he has been doing it for some time now. It's even madiga not our normal bread sef. He normally steals d madiga from the bakery, so that particular day, the workers were actually waiting for him by hiding around; he had successfully stolen the first batch n returned back to steal the second batch, that's wen luck ran out of him n he was caught, beaten by the workers n eventually died. Later his relatives beat up the owner of the bakery to comma, it was really a sad event.
Read the article very well they offered to pay for the bread double fold but the jungle justice crowd were bent on killing him.But Nigeria can be wicked at times and they won't channel all this wickedness and anger to politician that have held them hostage.
paranorman: Just because of bread, they too his life?! And someone couldn't even offer to pay for his bread? It's painful..
Stop telling us this cock and bull stories then he should start probing buharis administration.
mainman7: Truth is that Tinubu has no alternative other than removing it at soon as possible. The Blame is on Amechi, Ekweremadu(that brought Bill Gates to Buhari to Buy all Nigerian Federal Hospitals, sold to him for Billions already. Tinubu has been Fighting very Boldly and Courageously to UnDo and Reverse all these Satanic Transactions, this is why BGates rushed to Aso Rock few weeks ago to beg him to soft pedal. The Question is: why does he want to Own the Body and Souls of Nigerians?! Nigerians are not Animals to be Owned! If you know half of Battle that Tinubu is currently Fighting for Nigerians, you will shed Tears in Appreciation to CREATOR of Humanity for bringing such a Courageous Leader as Intervention!) and other satanic Greedy Souls like them that Connived with Buhari to Use Nigeria(ns) to endlessly borrow Billions of Dollars and Trillions of Yuan which Buhari audaciously siphoned straight away for Development of Niger Republic his true Country.
Even Great Economists and Professional Financial Analysts from Western World have said it would take a Miracle for any Government that takes over from Buhari to fund Nigeria after Buhari leaves Office, they said Economic Collapse of Nigerian is inevitable with the Unprecedented Wickedness and irredeemable Damage that Buhari and his Cronies did.
Removing the Subsidy at least Saves some Billions (that the theivng Oil Cabals would have also continue to be claiming) for Nigeria use to start the Long Journey to Recovery, from the Unprecedented Wicked Wounds and Monumental Damage which Buhari and his satanic Encouragers like Emefiele, Ekweremadu, Amechi, etc.
Tinubu really Need all the Prayers and Encouragements he can get from us all. Sincerely, if you know the level of Damage that these wicked heartless Anti-Humanity Souls did to Nigeria as a Country, you will know that only GOD ALMIGHTY can Help Tinubu to bring his Vision of making Nigeria great again to Reality.
Please, quickly Download this Video before they remove it from YouTube again. Share on WhatsApp and on all Social Media, this is what all Nigerians should Unite against not the Senseless Tribalism that the those with Ekweremadu wicked heart are using to Divide the Masses. This Video shows when Ekweremadu encouraged Buhari to Cede the Right over all Nigerian Federal Hospitals to Bill gates for Billions of Dollars, which has already been shared. They kept the Masses in the Dark while they sold them out Completely. Try not to Cry from being overshocked by what you discovered today was long done to your Future under Buhari.
Of course he is useless every presidential candidate won their region with at least 85-90% vote but ATIKU could not and that was the reason pdp selected him as their flag bearer to take the north from apc.Is he not a useless politician?
MelesZanawi: If Atiku was stupid enough to stand by Ayu when the same Ayu was propped up as PDP Chairman by Wike, then it means Wike is wiser than Atiku.
Presidency aside, Atiku lost all others contests.
Adamawa, he openly supported Binani over Fintiri his party man. Fintiri was openly supported by G5. Binani lost.
Senate Presidency, Atiku's candidate lost to Akpabio supported by Wike.
She learnt from the society. And until we stop celebrating and rewarding people with no values we have no right to castigate her.webhavenalot of politicians with fake certificates how many have been prosecuted?we still celebrate some of them.we as the masses have alot of people that have gotten jobs either using fake certificates or other people certificates how many have been made to face the law. There should be stiffer punishment for certificate forgets including politicians before we can start reprimanding the minors.
How can I proof ownership of my vehicle every year it makes no sense.people need to take these guys to court.what they need to introduce is a change of ownership certificate.
Most people don't know the effect of the removal of fuel subsidy to their pockets.I told someone you would start feeling it 3 months into the removal i.e if our refinery don't start working.A smart person would have pressed his calculator check his fuel consumption for the month compare with is earnings and expenditure then you will know if you should drop the car at home and use it only Sundays or within your neighbourhood or turn the car to taxi to share the burden.
Govt itself have not done enough to encourage the informal sector to key into taxation? The taxes most have been paying are they getting the same value or it's been used to fund the redundant public sector and politicians.
COMPAQ: One reason why our Tax to GDP ratio is low is because a huge chunk of our GDP operates in the informal sector.
Open markets Informal transportation In formal agricultire Informal mining Property transactions with informal agents etc
Nigeria has to find a way of improving formalizing the informal sector.
If it were me, I'd make a law setting up Property clearing house in each state. You canny get approval to build unless professionals you are using have evidence of tax returns linked to their name.
Also all estate agents must be qualified and licensed and every real estate transaction must be conducted by a registers ND licensed agent. ND if you don't show tax filing for this year, you don't get licensed for the following year. Any transaction handled by n unlicensed agent becomes null and void.
Hundreds of BILLIONS, if not trillions of naira changes hand every year on rent, yet no tax is paid.
