oweniwe: EARLY DIFFICULTIES IN EZHIONUM UNDER LOCAL AND NATIVE ADMINISTRATION
Ezhionum people exhibited very furious expansionist tendencies by always coming together to form formidable group and at the same time, withstood invaders from the neighborhood.
Eventually, when the British rule was first introduced, the people of Ezhionum neither allowed the white men to settle with them, nor had a single sealing with them. Ezhionum people resisted all forms of perceived intimidations from the colonial masters and this led to several wars which in the long run led Ezhionum into captivity. The people were led mostly to a village called Igun after Eku where they stayed for so many years before they were left to return to Ezhionum.
After some years, the antagonistic tendencies against any foreign system of leadership outside the traditional gerontocracy started waning. Hence the British rule was accepted and taxation and native law court systems became fully operative and with Ezhionum people abiding.
It is the same spirit of abiding my the rules of new orders and accepting innovations that Ezhionum people showed and displayed reasonable concordance in the decision to evolve a new system of monarchial rule to supplement the age long gerontocratic rule.
We wish, on behalf of the entire good people of Ezhionum kingdom, to thank Chief G. Enudi (Onochieze of Ezhionum), Chief J.F.M Obi (Ogbuimi of Ezhionum), Hon. Chief S.O Ogashi (The Secretary of Ezhionum Kingship Committee), Chief C.C Onyichi (The Onueze of Ezhionum Kingdom), Late Rev. Dr. E.O Okolugbo (the author of History of Ukwuani & Ndosumili People of Niger Delta), for their priceless contributions towards making (this) historical account fairly detailed and factual.

Martehco: My Experience with Mr. Trustiswealth Ps: It's a rule of thumb to trade mostly with nairaland monikers who have a reputation to protect. The OP's account for example, is only a handful of months old and his first post is his infinix note 8i for sale thread.
I saw this thread about 2 days ago when it was titled as "3 weeks old note 8i for sale", so I messaged Mr. Trustiswealth enquiring about the phone. When I asked oga about the phone, giving him a asking price of 40, he declined and only accepted when i raised the buying price to 45k. He said someone else was already paying 60k for it, so he ain't sure if i will get the phone.
Except...
If i agree to make a down-payment (for a phone i've not even touched, talk less of test). I declined this and proposed 2 options 1. A one-on-one transaction - check the phone and pay the price (he also proposed this) 2. That he delivers it to somewhere i can easily get to. On seeing the phone, i transfer the money to him and pay the delivery guy something for his effort.
Oga declined option 2 saying he will only send the phone if he gets a down payment or a full payment for the phone before waybilling the phone.
I chose to go meet him at his fort and buy the phone from him on a one-on-one level. According to him, the guy that wants to pay 60k didn't end up showing. He buzzed me by 12pm asking if i'm still coming or not, i told him that i was on my way. Because of security, i asked that we meet at Ajah's flyover bridge instead of me coming all the way down to awoyaya (where he supposedly resides). He agreed.
I left my residential area and boarded different buses (lol, i even lost a girl's number) and i ended up reaching Ajah at 3:55pm. I called Mr. Trustiswealth notifying him of my arrival (of course, i was updating him at intervals during the journey to ajah), he asked that i wait as he is just coming from home (awoyaya) and it will take a while. 4pm became 4:30pm - baba hasn't shown up 4:30 became 5pm - baba still hasn't shown up. He said he is caught up in the traffic and i concurred seeing that the road was tight. Around some minutes after 5, he called me and changed the whole narrative.
First, there is another person ready to pay for the phone and the person lives around. Second, he is becoming skeptical with my actions and I am really giving him a lot of stress (considering that he is only doing me a favor since he is selling such a nice phone at such ridiculous amount).
I hate it when someone is inconvenienced because of me. He said he was at gbogije around this time and according to him, it would take hours for him to get to Ajah since he was in a car. I said - "okay, I will take a bike and block you right there at gbogije, you can simply pull over your car and we make the transaction". He declined saying "it's not about me coming to meet him" and some other words i really can't make meaning of. He then gave me two new conditions 1. Send him money for him to dispatch the phone to me right to Ajah 2. Wait for him to come. Adding that i ought to/should pay him for his fuel if he continues the Awoyaya-to-Ajah journey. Smile... I asked "how much?" , baba said 4k for fuel.
He ended it by saying i should go back since i wasn't ready to agree to any of those two terms above. I said okay, bye bye. I decided to whine around in the slot office at ajah and i was there till about some minutes to 6. As i was about to pay for a nice Redmi phone, i saw his call again. He asked if i was still at ajah to which i answered affirmatively, and he told me to wait that he will be there soon.
Omooooo, i was at ajah from 6-7pm, making it 3 hours of standing at Ajah's underbridge. I called him to know where he was and he said he was at sangotedo.
Now, i was no longer interested in sealing any transaction, I simply wanted to know where all this will end. By 7:40pm, a mild rain started at ajah and the rain drenched me. By 8:30pm, only God knows if Mr. Trustiswealth was coming from France as he was nowhere to be found.
I con kukuma dey go my house seeing as everything went sour. Now, i didn't message him anymore as i wanted to know the exact time he would claim he got to ajah after i have waited for 4 hours plus.
I chatted him up this night and everything was incoherent. I am not saying he is a scam, neither am i saying he is not. My own is that you make whatever inferences you can from my experience with him and shine your eyes. Because Oyinbo say, the eye of a crab is the metaphorical catapault of his security, thank you. Due dilligence is very important online and offline. |

sukkot: you ever wonder why babies come out re-tarded and helpless and have to depend on other people for every function in life ? you have to feed them, cloth them, wipe their ass, etc etc. they are totally helpless. its because they are born dead. spiritually dead. so the moment you are birth into this world is actually your death date. an unencumbered spirit that can morph into every aspect of the cosmos gets trapped in a tiny defenceless body. This is why all the prophets curse their birth dates in the bible. because it is the date of death and as such you should not be celebrating it.
so what is your real birth date ? your real birth-date is your solar return meaning the sun returning to the exact position it was on the day you were born. that is your real birth date. the solar return aka the return of your soul from death to the function it was created and programmed to be from before you were born. so next time ? dont celebrate your birth date cuz it is the date you died. you should celebrate your solar returns annually
just a heads up Makes sense! |

Carparts888: First you need to decide if you want an suv or a car and the factors to guide you include the following? 1. Are you a family that require a vehicle with much space? if yes then go for highlander and if no its vice versa.
2. Do you live in an area with bad roads that require a vehicle with higher ground clearance? if yes go for highlander and if not go for corolla.
3. Will u you travel regularly or often with the vehicle? if yes go for highlander(it has bigger engine(2.4 litre and 3.3 litre v6) which is very adequate and less stressful for the engine on regular long trips) if not go for corolla(1.8 liter engine sufficient for city drive).
4. If your after a fuel economy vehicle for your daily activities then go for corolla as its very economical with its 1.8 litre engine.
5. what is the purpose of purchasing the vehicle? is it for daily office use or for uber/bolt hustle or for haulage or a family car? This will guide u to choose between an suv or a car.
Hope this helps u tomake a good decision as both vehicles are very reliable with affordable parts(highlanders parts will be slightly more costly) but u need to first decide the purpose of the vehicle and consider other options to know if its am suv or car that best suits your needs. I will personally choose highlander as it will better suit my needs and the only thing corolla will beat highlander with is just better fuel economy. Goodluck with your choice and purchase. Please remember to go with a certified auto mechanic to check the vehicle thoroughly before buying. Goodluck sir. Well said. |

Autos › Re: Top 10 Car Maintenance Mistakes by wealthtrak: 8:18pm On Jan 24, 2022 |
automedics: Shrewdly following the maintenance schedule provided in your car’s owner’s manual can prevent lengthy or more expensive visits to the service shop.
Compared to the old generation cars , modern cars require about as much maintenance as a toaster. This is might mean a real liberation from the oil, lube and tune merry-go-round that ruled not so long ago.
Curiously, many people haven’t adjusted their thinking to keep pace with new car maintenance schedules. The preoccupied still run their daily drivers without service until the dash warning lights burn out, while over-achievers fret about running synthetic oil more than 2,500 miles without a change.
Although maintenance intervals are now more widely spaced, even the newest cars require scheduled service to live long, productive lives. Whether yours is the latest model or you paid it off years ago, the trick is giving your car the maintenance it was designed to receive.
Surprisingly, the answer to what maintenance is required is hiding no farther away than the glove box. Every car is supplied with a maintenance schedule — in the owner’s manual or in a separate maintenance log book — that details that vehicle’s needs. A few minutes assimilating these requirements will help you avoid the following common car-maintenance pitfalls.
Proper Tire Inflation and Rotation Tires leak naturally and need the occasional check. Figuratively speaking, underinflated tires suck up gasoline. Under- or overinflated tires wear out sooner, and deliver the same emergency maneuver handling as marshmallows. You probably aren’t going to check tire pressures monthly, but how about twice a year?
Furthermore, front and rear tires wear differently and should be rotated to even that wear. Your owner’s manual will have a recommendation on both pressure and rotation periods.
Wiper Tales Here’s a news flash: It’s much easier to avoid hitting things you can see. Simple as it is, that’s the concept behind replacing your windshield wipers before they fossilize into noisy uselessness.
Fall is the ideal wiper replacement time: after the blade-baking summer and before the fall and winter nastiness. Depending on location, wiper replacement may be an annual affair in the Southwest to a biannual chore in northern climes.
Tune-Up Anachronism There are no more “tune-ups.” Valves no longer need adjusting, ignition timing is computer controlled and there are no carburetors to fiddle with. About all that’s left of the old tune-up drill are the spark plugs. These are often good for 100,000 miles, so don’t change parts just to change parts. Instead, save up for those big 60,000- and 120,000-mile services when the timing belt, spark plug wires and coolant are due for replacement.
Octane Overdose “If some is good, more is better” thinking does not apply to octane. Here the rule is to supply whatever octane the engine is rated for and call it done. Higher-than-required octane does not yield more power or mileage, only oil company profits.
Some engines are rated for premium 91 octane fuel but can burn 87 octane regular, thanks to the magic of knock sensors. In that case, run regular gas if puttering around surface streets, and premium fuel if full-throttle driving is part of your daily repertoire.
Oil Change Timing Oil changes every 3,000 miles used to be required jobs, just like cleaning the accumulated fuzz from record player needles or defrosting freezers. Today, advances in engine design and lubricants make oil changes something to be done when the schedule calls for it, not when granddad says it’s time. Some cars call for 5,000-mile change intervals, some up to 15,000-mile stints. Others have a variable timer. Follow the schedule and use the oil called for by the manufacturer.
Tired Tires Tires wear out, but they also time out. The tire industry says tires are toast after five years, but they’re selling tires. It all depends on heat, sunlight and ozone conditions. There’s little argument from any pundits that after seven years those black donuts are dried and better off holding down a farmer’s tarp than carrying your family around. If you’re not sure how old your tires are, a tire shop can read the date code stamped into the sidewall.
Dirty Air Filter Semi-clogged air filters hurt fuel economy for the same reason you don’t like to run with a potato in your mouth. The question is, when is your filter dirty? If you go near dirt, the air filter may need changing twice as often as the schedule calls for.
Ignoring Your Brakes Note to the Wandering Unconscious: If you notice anything different about your brakes — sound, feel or response — they are telling you to visit a mechanic. Now.
Tighten Your Gas Cap Is the Check Engine light on? Then make sure the gas cap is on tightly before calling the dealer. No joke, this is one of the most common ways of setting off your car’s diagnostic system, since a loose gas cap defeats the fuel system’s venting arrangement. http://automedicsafrica.com/new/?p=915 Follow us on twitter @automedicsnig |

Kufie: Oh My God my second love after my 504. This bus gave me beautiful and terrible memories. I remember a mechanic deceiving me about switching to a Toyota engine. Spent a lot of money and the bus couldn't even do Calabar to Uyo without breaking down
The headlights are out of this world. Even a blind man can drive this bus at night. That crystal-lite roof too with the electronic open/close feature was so cool that year. The AC? don't even get me started. You didn't need to turn on rear AC. The whole cabin would be ice cold from the front vents alone being open. Tint the rear and put an aftermarket woofer in the back and it's a mobile night club. That year, "Tinted glass permit" wasn't a thing so we had peace of mind.
The transmission is beautiful. You can flick it with a finger and switch gears. Buttery smooth!! This bus can run!! It was really unfortunate I knew nothing about cars so we were sold a very bad one. Spent more time at the mechanic than it did on the road.
Thanks for bringing these memories back OP. Happy sales.
I love this bus.
Modified: I scrolled up for one last look and remembered the power steering. A day old baby can do a full u-turn in this bus. Oh sweet memories!!!! |

ubunja: come rain come thunder, the code will be cracked....
You've summarized the female rationalizing mechanism in one sentence.
I remember some time ago stumbling on an internet debate by women where they were discussing cheating,, now I can't remember if they were debating men's cheating or women's cheating. But the group was divided on a very ludicrous point,, a crazy point: one side was saying it's OK to cheat if during the sex you're thinking about your spouse,, and the other was saying cheating is cheating regardless of what's on your mind. I remember asking myself "How is this even a discussion " But it was a heated debate that laid bare the crazy female thought process.
It's like the female mind is built to use loopholes and technicalities to justify cheating!! When you realize that aspect it starts to make sense that a prostitute will fucc you but not kiss you, that a póřn ștář will fucc but not want the man to cum inside. All these things have one thing in common: it's a woman avoiding excessively bonding and being connected overtly to a man who doesn't love her. It's disconnected sex without closeness and bonding.
The more disconnected the sex on offer, the more likely a woman will cheat. That's why sex with strangers is a favorite of women. Eg, if you come to a party with your own girl and a woman comes with her own man, and it's clear both of you are connected already to other people, then she's going to let you hit secretly. Because she knows nothing will come of it.
Concerning that vow the married woman in your story made,,, Women have made a lot of them: Some women will cheat as long as they use a condom (rationalization - it's not intimate, no bodily fluids are exchanged). Some women will cheat as long as they do it once with that person (rationalization - we do it once, so there's no emotions). Some women will cheat if a man promises not to cum inside (rationalization - atleast there's no risk to get pregnant for a man who's not my man). Some women will cheat if they don't have to take their clothes off (rationalization - it's not intimate cause our bodies don't touch). Some women will cheat because they're pregnant (rationalization - I'm already pregnant anyways, I can't get pregnant again). Some women will cheat just after fuccing their man (rationalization - the other man is eating my man's leftovers). To them all this is not straightforward cheating. "men don't understand".
But that's your key to the pussy. If you want to get laid with these women, Just use their vows against them. Next time a woman says, "I've a BF" "I'm married", just use the above rationalizations and see what sticks. Eg, you're seducing a pregnant girl, just say, "But you can not get pregnant again". It's funny, but in the complicated mess that is the female mind, it just might click.
Women will not cheat for something they can get at home. Or Let me put it this way, That thing that a woman refuses to do with her man because it's demeaning, slutty, disrespectful to her etc, is the same exact thing she'll let a stranger who doesn't love her do to her. It's the same thing she'll cheat for. Because that thing inside a relationship is deemed wrong but outside it's OK. Which brings us to doggy, anal, 3sums, bondage, period sex, and the like. If you've listened to cheating women enough you have heard "I want to do such and such BUT NOT WITH MY HUSBAND"
Now, put 1 and 1 together and realize that when a woman tells you, "But I'm married", you then have to respond with those things THEY CAN'T DO WITH THE HUSBAND. It's your door. Your window of opportunity. If you want these women in relationships and married women, offer those things that you know they're uncomfortable doing with the man they love (dirty talk sex, doggy, 3sums and even gangbangs - these hoes are addicted).
Her: "but I have a man" You: "I just wanted someone to experiment with. Nothing serious"
And just like that you've aroused unlimited curiosity. Now she's wondering what type of shiit you're up to. Will she finally get the opportunity to do that thing she saw in that Indecency? For women a chance to experiment is a chance to do those things they don't get to do at home, or rather, they CAN'T do at home. Or else hubby will not look at them the same way again. So they wanna do with men they're not dating or married to.
I have a friend who has been dealing with older women (40+)for a while and his selling point is always "I suck and lick pussy". This cause An older woman once told her married men of their age don't do such stuffs, and my friend has been heavily capitalizing on this knowledge ever since. And getting laid plenty in the process. Pure genius... Well said! Women are NOT prudes and they have secret sexual fantasies which I first learned about from a book in the early 1990s... I never looked at women the same way again. Women love men who are intriguing, "lone-wolves" to be honest. Lol. |

I have a maternal uncle who lives at Magodo phase 2 and is a former big shot with the Lagos State Government but I appeal to all residents to regularise their stay with the original land owners and all will be fine. Most of the Magodo Phase 2 property owners are BIG government and private sector shots of Yoruba descent like Sen. Gbenga Ashafa, Afe Babalola Chambers in Brooks Estate, Magodo and more. At the end of the lease period, the indigenes can then decide to finally eject everybody from the lands or allow them to stay since most of the property owners are of Yoruba descent. Period! |

USING NGO TO DO BUSINESS I registered a Limited by Guarantee or an Incorporated Trustees (Club, Church, Mosque, Association, Initiative, Foundation etc.) and I have running business services or goods with it, and I have been making profit from it, though I have been using majority of the proceeds to further the objectives of the NGO. Desist from such acts, it is called ultra-vires. You are not meant to run a business with an NGO, unless you want it to be taxable and an IT isn’t a profit-making machine. You are very correct! Yoruba top Lagos goverment and private shots dominate Magodo. My septuagenarian uncle built his house near Afe Babalola Chambers Magodo phase 2. They should just negotiate with the indigenes... It's their land! |
