Going by public transport, your journey should not be that difficult if there are commercial vehicles plying the inner routes.

Going from Oshodi, board a vehicle going to "Airport Road (NAHCO)", they should drop you at the Toll Gate Junction. From there you might find a vehicle going to American Corner. It's quite close to your destination. But don't move when it's quite dark.

I'd have recommeded Computer Village at Ikeja, but my past experience there isn't encouraging. So I'll suggest you try Arena Military Shopping Complex at Oshodi.
You should find what you need there too, but still be careful, as there is no place these fraudsters are, but I've not experienced them there at Arena though.

And to get there, from Agege, board a vehicle going to Oshodi, tell the driver you'd stop at Arena.

Board a vehicle going to Oshodi.

From Oshodi, board a vehicle going to Mile 2, tell the driver you'd stop at "Mile 2 Festac Side."

From Mile 2 Festac Side, you'd get a vehicle going to Alaba International Market.

It's as simple as that.
