EFULEFU1: Your ex has brought you all these eggs when u returned from work. She is there and tells u she just decided to gift with this small surprise. How will you react to this benevolence?
Thank U
Hehehehe I think hunger motivated your post. Hunger for eggs, most probably. I mean, of all the things you could come up with as an imaginary gift, it is a bus load of eggs that topped your wish list. The ex plans to make you become an egg vendor, or wants you to gorge yourself to death with eggs?
IDENNAA: Enugu , Ebonyi and Imo carry out the same discrimination against Ndi Anambra even in their everyday life. I am a living witnesses to wickedness meted out on me by Ndi Imo. Any ffucking Anambra man that thinks Ndi Imo , Enugu or Ebonyi loves him is very sstupid. They hate Anambra out of envy , period. They always deny us jobs in their state but we keep our doors open for everybody to come in and enjoy the fruits of our land.
Sorry about this experience you had. Perhaps you might accept my apology, on behalf of Imo people. It is an unfortunate situation.
I have never had a paid job, public or private, in Alaigbo, so I have not experienced this issue.
Another thing is, Nigeria has permeated every fiber of our existence. I doubt that if the entire SE had remained as a single geopolitical entity as opposed to different states, such odd things would happen. One Nigeria has made us realize we are living in denial, and the same Nigeria carved up the former Eastern Region into states that now see themselves as opposing forces.
michlins: My own is this, who can start importing this type of materials into the Nigeria market. Many people are tired of wrought and will want to try something minimalistic.
Good morning everyone
Fabricators in Aba have been constructing stuff like this. Once you see something you like, approach them with it, and they'll do it. Just that in building constructions, many still prefer old designs. Newer ideas gain traction slowly.
spyder880: Welcome Sir, the pit was excavated on my instructions. I wanted to use it to monitor the water level in the land from the time we started construction. There is also a water well in the front I was using as a water level observatory. Due to my observation of the pit, we did a raft foundation at the back because of the nature of the land, and will use good beams to complete the top of the foundation. The pit we dug might become the soakaway system in the near future. Thanks.
The green color of the water in that pit shows it is fertile. Do this: buy some catfish fingerlings (say, about 20) and put them there. No need to bother about feeding them
Unless the pit gets flooded in the coming rains, you'd have grown fish in the next few months
"..and by the time we conclude this investigation, the details will surprise many Nigerians..."
Silly bunch of cretins. As if there's anything this government is capable of handling well. Was that what madam first lady spent 6 months investigating in Dubai?
End up surprising the buharideens who still expect anything from you.
Asswipemod: Will yuo shut up with your lies! Which makeshift camp. Obviously you're not current. That is why you keep dishing out dead news about Yewa people living for Cotonu. And as for Tinubu, we cannot stop him from self deception. If he likes let him be sleeping in Aso rock from now on, it does not change anything. On Oduduwa republic we stand. A question. Has it not occurred to you that herdsmen have been quiet lately in the SW?
Go and sue the owners of these publications then. They're less than 2 weeks old. You asked me about herdsmen being quiet in the SW, do you want to hear more lies, or your own denials are much sweeter to you?
Jackson105: Check on next ibo guy beside you, anything Tinubu they choke them, i will suggest they don't come online again for the rest of the day to reduce the heartache.
Hehehehe The guy next to me cursed in Yoruba. I asked him what is the issue, and he showed me this thread on NL. He chocked more than I did. Keep consoling yourself that Tinubu and his greed is seeking for the welfare of the Yoruba nation. Have never seen a set of people who learned nothing from history, like the Yorubas are currently doing. Ilorin is glaring and still there to remind you, if you bother to. Yewa people of Ogun State are currently in makeshift refugee camp in Benin Republic. Or perhaps you believe Igbos are the people displaced from Yewa?
AsabaPropertyAg: Please well-to-do Landlords should give 2 or 3 month's rent to Tenants as Covid-19 Palliative, it will be a very big relief to Tenants, this is exactly what my Landlord did to us, he just removed 2 Months Rent for me as Covid-19 Palliative, he announced it last year March ending during the Lockdown but I have already paid my Rent and he said if anyone has paid before the announcement, the person you should deduct 2 Months rent from his/her next rent in 2021. We are grateful. God bless my Landlord.
My cousin's landlord at Owerri just increased the rent from 360k to 420k His rent will elapse in 4 months, and is expected to begin paying the new amount or move out of the apartment. There are demons among us
Jakumo: Another video from Youtube focuses on the gigantic fortunes that can be reaped from legalized cannabis cultivation in Nigeria. The figure of 3.7 BILLION dollars USD, is a conservative estimate of the wealth that could be generated ANNUALLY from cultivation, processing, sale, and export of cannabis derivatives. This is serious big-time money that could eventually dwarf Nigeria's annual petroluem export earnings.
The list of African countries that have legalized marijuana cultivation keeps growing, and has now reached ten in number, all of whose governments and citizens are ALREADY cashing in big time, on the Green Revolution of marijuana cultivation, processing, sales and export.
South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania, Malawi, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Swaziland, Lesotho and Ghana
I knew countries in the eastern and southern parts of Africa would embrace legalized weed cultivation more easily than those in the north and west. Check the demographics. East and South of Africa are embracing changes and their economies are opening up much more faster than the rest.
Fejoku: Do not misunderstand him. Truly Nigeria failed to utilize the potential of the Igbo people. Imagine the level of trade Nigeria would have controlled in Africa(West and Central) if Eastern region was open for business and supported by the government. The job opportunities would have been enormous for all. The call for secession would have been very low because majority of the youth would have been employed in businesses to even worry about it. Nigeria would have been a manufacturing hub further increasing our control of the whole region. See how a gifted Prof Barth Nnaji was underutilized because of his origin. The Nigeria most of us thought had a chance if we do it right eventually never really existed. Ever since I realized it, I focussed strictly on Biafra and I know I'm 100% correct in this regard. Those people who still believe in this Nigeria fall into two category with the first being those who still think Nigeria can get it right while the second are those who know clearly that there's no Nigeria but prefer to keep it going so they and their families could continue to live fat from her while millions of their people die in poverty. The number of the first set continue to decrease daily which shows that there's hope for the millions of the poor population. The second set are the willing tools of the colonialists who are used as agents to keep their people in poverty for the benefit of those exploiters. These are the current people controlling Nigeria. No patriot will be in government and send his kids to school abroad. No patriot will prefer to go for treatment abroad when hospitals of world class standard can be built here. Money is never the problem. No patriot will prefer passport booklets of his country be printed outside his country when such can easily be done here. No patriot will be comfortable with minimum wage of workers being less than $100 a month. The average Igbo man I know is averse to all of the above I mentioned so has been a great loss for Nigeria since they've been out of the leadership position.
If you need to explain all this to anyone, then that person is either a child, or a rëtarded adult.
I think I know what category that one belonged to.
theTranslator: that shows you're delusional Are igbos not Nigerians? Is Azikwe not Igbo?
You have an over bloated ego with absolutely nothing to show for it
Yes, asswipe. Igbos are Nigerians That's why we fought tooth and nail for 3 years to never be identified as one. You must believe that everyone occupying this space believe in his heart he belonged here.
I am first an Igbo. Same way your president puts any Fulani first, irrespective of whichever country the person comes from. If you're first a Nigerian, then that's your funeral. I don't have to pander to your whims, belief or expectation. My ego? Sure it is bloated. Whether I got something to show for it or not, you will never know.
Fejoku: I've read this book which was a product of the numerous studies British anthropologists took upon themselves when they discovered that all measures employed by the British for effective exploitation of Igboland failed. While it's good to remind ourselves of our uniqueness I think we have to make room to appear less threatening to others. The British know our potential and they fear what our achievement portends for Africa. You see, a very confident young man is always viewed as a threat anywhere especially by exploiters. The least such a young man should do is to extend his fearlessness to affect even those that could easily be his allies when his main enemies should be those exploiters. This is what this thread appears to be although you may see it so. The British themselves had to build a great Britain comprising neighbouring tribes (nations of Scots, Celts and Welsh) to conquer the world. Rarely do you have any nation irrespective of how gifted they may be enjoy a series of victories without adding other nations to themselves. The Russians did the same and became so large. The USA story is clear to all. Imagine what a Japan-China combo would have been! Even the USA would quake. Now compare the capabilities of Germany with their actual achievement in world politics. Very small compared to their less gifted neigbours. If only Germany was less too proud of themselves like you're encouraging us to do(hope you got the area of comparison). If only the Germans have been less so threatening than they are, they could have merged with smaller neighbouring tribes which will ultimately make them the masters of all Europe. My point is that we should try to speak of our unique political set up and the never-give-up mindset of an average Igbo man in a way that markets us to others instead of it appearing so intimidating that it creates further hurdles for us. If you don't know, there are lots of other Africans that love our way of life and would want to learn it but the impediment will be this intimidating outlook. Let's learn from the French who despite their historical achievements still appear less intimidating than others. They have less enemies than others and continue to gain from such posture. My critism is strictly constructive and it's my hope that you understood my message. Haters will still hate no matter what we do but less not give room for further misunderstanding from our admirers. Udo.
Oh, I totally understand your point here, and I largely agree with you.
Thing is, Igbos being loud, abrasive and appearing to intimidate (as opposed to endearing themselves to their neighbors) is largely a coping mechanism. When you are surrounded by folks who try to downplay your worth, as well as seek for your extinction, you do all you can to cope and stay alive. It is the same way African Americans are viewed as loud and annoying by Caucasians in USA I've watched several documentaries discussing that issue. It was the reason why black folks walk around in a swagger, a sort of showing off.
But in a set up where you are embraced as an equal partner, then you conform with the expectations because you don't have to prove that you're better than rated.
Also note that, those who already view you with suspicion and often second guessing your intentions would find it hard to give you benefit of the doubt once you seem to have changed tact. In the long run, you ask yourself, "why bother?"
You find out that it is easier to be yourself, than expend energy trying to not stand out.
Another thing is, Nigeria refused to embrace her diversity and use it to her advantage. When Igbos made exploits, it would have been to the country's advantage to project them to the world further, and Igbos in turn, would feel obligated to a country that gave them the platform to shine. It could have been a quid pro quo, and a win win for all parties, but Nigeria failed, not Igbos.
If you treat a partner badly, the partner is obligated to show that you lost a valuable thing. Hence, the magnifying of any exploit or achievement such partner makes.
Finally, why bring yourself low, to satisfy someone else's inferiority?
Every argument has different perspectives, and what I stated here cannot be the best by any means.
notym2chektym: Trash Ibos dey vote en masse before? I thought you would say no Ibos voted Buhari Yorubas always split their vote right from time, it's either 50:50 ,40:60 or 45:55,we are liberal in nature. Two brothers of same parents can vote for different candidates of their choice We are not gullible in nature where we can be easily maneovered to vote for a single candidate in bandwagon effect out of hatred , ethnicity or religion What have you done to the Ibos that voted Buhari? Why not extend the same hatred you have for Yorubas against your brothers who voted Buhari, extend same hatred to the Rochas,Hope Ugwuanyi etc
Hehehehe Silly you
You made a false and absolute ridiculous claim and I countered it. Now you're talking about something else. You should have produced your evidence that showed all region voted en masse for Buhari as you claimed.
All else you're typing is hot air. You were owned. Clam up and swallow your own shit. Not gonna roll in the mud with you.
notym2chektym: na wa for you Op Who told you Ibos rejected Buhari in 2015? Maybe in 2015, you were still in primary, Every region voted massively for Buhari Govt in 2015 because of their fake promises and because we want a better govt not knowing we are going from frypan to fire ,In 2019, when everyone eyes clear, there was voter aparthy ,Apc used the opportunity to rig the elections for Buhari, Buhari was imposed on Nigeria in 2019, forget those figures you see then( God will not forgive APC for that) Are you afraid of Yoruba seceding or what ? I don't know what you people really want from the Yorubas. Initially you said we are Hausa slaves and unity beggars, now we want to secede ,you said we shouldn't. Na wa o
Ridiculous claims like this are things that make me realize that most people either slow, or are deliberately mischievous. Seriously? So every region, including the SE (Igbos) gave their vote to Buhari in 2015? This same 2015 that is a mere 6 years old, and you pretend like you forgot, or that everyone else has memory lapse like you? This same 2015 that Igbos were dubbed 5% as against 97% for other regions? This same 2015 that Buhari gave his first live interview in London where he made that comment? This same 2015 that many entrepreneurs printed tee shirts with the inscription "proudly 5%" which many Igbos patronized to show their rejection of Buhari? C'mon, if you're trying to revise something that happened few years ago into a different narrative, something that was very public and exhaustively analysed and recorded, then I will be wary about the claims you try to make over events from 50 years ago. Igbos rejected Buhari in 2015 and even moreso in 2019. For your own safety, never make that ridiculous claim of yours wherever Igbos are gathered.
Sure, few Igbos voted Buhari and APC in 2015, but the overwhelming majority voted against him.
Omoboricash: That's one of the developer state. Tinubu is their problem and the man Jagaban has never ruled any eastern state neither has he collected contract from them. But always shout Tinubu name.... Bunch of idi08
Have some sense. The people who call out Tinubu are residents of Lagos State. If they live in Lagos, do business in Lagos, pay their taxes in Lagos, then they can drag Tinubu as much as they want. How come they are not calling out governors of Osun, Ọyọ, Ekiti, Ondo and Ogun states? That's because most non Yorubas in the SW reside in Lagos. Tinubu has been governor of Lagos from 1999 to 2007 and has been indirect governor since then. He is still pocketing Lagos State funds till tomorrow. The whole thing is very easy to see if you care to.
HarunaWest: Did you read the part where he said it will take another 5 years for him to get married to his GF ? Did the bride tell you that she was forced to marry him?
Oh, shut the F up! He said the girl will not be ready for marriage in 5 years. The girl will not be ready, not him. Read the statement again. She is still in secondary school and will not be ready for marriage in 5 years, means the girl could be anything from age 12 to 15, possibly. You are trying to tell us the man won't be ready for marriage in 5 years to his own girl, but was ready in one month to marry his late bro's woman?? Na sickness dey worry you? Stop justifying pedophilia. Awọn oloriburuku.
Igboid: Even Jesus refused to throw pearls at pigs.
He made it obvious he wouldn't give the food made for the children to the dogs.
As a leader/organization, you must know your jurisdiction and boundary.
If anyone else from outside it wants same privileges, they would have to roll on the floor to get it. That way your value soars. Somethings are just common sense. Who bewitched IPOB?
When you move into Eleme and the herdsmen invites the Nigerian military, who comes in and start killing the people. Who do you think the Igbophobic Ogoni and Rivers people will blame? Especially as there is no public evidence of Eleme leaders ever inviting ESN openly to their land.
How can you guarantee the safety of your boys in such Igbophobic environment where there are abundant of Igbo hating indigenes? They will give up your locations in the bushes to the FG Army like they did during the civil war. You will waste the life of fresh Igbo boys, many of them will be captured alive , tortured to death extract information about the running of ESN from them, and then have their organs harvested and sold.
The Ogoni leaders and Wike would come out and pour insult to injury by claiming that IPOB left Igbo land to come to their land to annex their land to Biafra and cause problems for them. Ogoni commoners will keep quite. We have seen this movie before.
Your operations have been successful in Igbo land because its your HOMELAND, you enjoy the commoners goodwill and protection. No Igbo will give up the location of ESN in Igbo land. You are not invincible. Ask our few Biafran soldiers who fought in these Igbophobic minority environments what they faced. My uncle died in the Bonny war, their location given up by these minorities. We still have his enlarged picture at home, he was only 20yrs and full of life.
Do you lots think things through at all in IPOB. I mean common cause and effect analysis? Or is everything all about emotions and vibes? Tell your supreme leader not to waste the lives of those young Igbo boys who trusted their lives in his hands. He owes them sound decision making that must prioritize the safety of their lives. They have family and loved ones at home. Sending them to Igbophobic Minority lands in Rivers state is tactless and senseless decision.
Gosh! IPOB is such an embarrassment to Igbo ancient ako n'uche. Are IPOB not supposed to have an inner caucus that should discuss all I just analyzed above before any action?
This is tragic
Worse than tragic. The outcome of this foolishness is bound to lead to avoidable deaths of innocent Igbos both in Eleme and within the ESN. Kanu's ego is going to bring a lot of Igbos to their ruins.
bolaayenimo: very humble man...with almost 100 domestic staff, he was the one nailing the wall to hang pictures
Been laughing uncontrollably since I read this. Exactly what occured to me when I saw the topic. There is no freaking way FFK will condescend to do such a chore, with his type of personality. He has domestic servants for everything, from brushing his teeth, wiping his ass after pooing, to spoon feeding him. See how the crook hid the hammer once he realized he was being filmed by his wife. He wouldn't have hid it if he didn't mean to do something nasty with it. This APC govt has infected every public person to come up with very stvpid and childish lies.
Zzor: Also tell him to work on his pot belly and penis and that his penis has shrinked over time, tell him also that the pastor is still fit and his organ still very strong after five kids, just cause fight and after the fight he will learn to appreciate you.
Godarz: So because FG started killing IPOB, which I did not support, nor approve of, they should go and carry an old man who as far as we know has not been proven to be a fulani herdsman leader, label him as such without proof, and then kill him without proof?
Does this not make IPOB as lawless as the government they claim to be fighting.?
Has not IPOB also attempted to kick off tribal anrchy in this country from time to time.
Sorry, you can hate me, you can call me Ibo hater. Me I hate no man from any tribe. But anyone out to cause crisis in this country that could lead to a Rwanda like situation...be it IPOB, HERDSMEN, MILLITANTS, IBOHOLITES, ETC...I no agree with them.
And I do not vote or support APC or PDP or Buhari, so don't go there.
IPOB is derailing...and they better watch it.
Hehehehe. You're they one who just mentioned party politics, and then you tell me not to go there. Take your own advice. This isn't about who you voted or didn't vote for. This is about a country whose leadership had gone deaf, dumb and blind. You have a president that never takes a stand when it comes to condemning Fulani killers, but once Fulanis are at the receiving end, he sends in the military. Spare me all that. Whatever is happening in Nigeria today is a fallout of what the FG created by not acting when it should. FG has showed itself unapologetically pro-Fulani and anti anything that isn't Fulani/North.
Godarz: On these pages, we see people cheering the murder of people who are innocent until proven guilty
I don't know, but one thing i know...the killing of an undefended man is not right, and detracts from what these Biafrans are fighting for They are no better than the herdsmen they claim to be fighting.
All in all, I don't back any herdsmen, nor any tribal millita. They are a danger to the peace of this country. They all must be stopped.
Emmm, do you remember that IPOB never molested anyone, never killed anyone. All they did was hold rallies, observed peaceful protests and create awareness among it's people. For this, FG quickly labelled them terrorists and began killing them wherever they are seen. Where was your voice then? Herdsmen, Boko Haram and terrorising bandits who kill at will began to get courted by govt. Govt began negotiating with them, paid them millions and granted amnesty and sent them overseas on scholarships. Is that morally, ethically or legally right?
You'd be too stvpid to continue to be peaceful in a Nigeria that befriends anti-state elements yet kill it's law abiding citizens. What IPOB and ESN did may be wrong, but in the Nigerian context, that is the next logical step FG pushed them into.
Have your village and your kinsmen been attacked and killed by Fulani herdsmen before? If they haven't, then be sensible enough to shut up. I'm saying this kindly
Monogamy: Truth be told, I really don't know how some of you Igbo's see things.
So ESN all away from SE region went to Benue state to arrest and kill Fulani militants.
Benue state is in NC not even SS... That's is trespassing .. There may be Igbo people residing in some part of Benue state but they are under different leader in care of security of the state.
ESN it's self is not recognized anywhere, not even by SE governors or politicians.
Before misreading my epistle, anything to avoid unnecessary war/fracas is what I am after.
The killing is not a thing to brag off
"The killing is not a thing to brag about"
On that opinion, I agree with you. Everything else you typed is flawed.
Benue State is in NC and not even SS
Well, that's true according to the flawed arrangement of the country called Nigeria. Arrangement made by partial men, in their bid to decimate the Igbo nation. Igbos have long rebelled against this arrangement. We do not apologize for that. Igbos existed before any entity called Benue State, before an artificial boundary was carved without the people's agreement or input. That boundary wickedly included Igbos who had settled in that place long before Mungo Park was born outside Enugu State, where they ought to be part of.
Your argument was from a standpoint of ignorance. The people of those communities are Igbos by birth, by tribe, by language, by culture and traditional institutions. Your comment that they merely "reside" there is wrong and reeks of crass ignorance. Same thing happened at Obigbo, where Igbos got maliciously carved into Rivers State, of which it is still causing strife till this day.
Only thing IPOB did wrong here is to boast of their feat online. They should have operated quietly, and never take credit for whoever terrorist they dispatched to his Maker.
I don't know about you, but my conviction long before Buhari befell this country, is to actively participate in whatever legal movement that will make the country abandon it's present political configuration, even break up into real constituent nations. Finally you said ESN isn't recognized anywhere. Well, you do not need recognition to defend yourself and your people. Your Nigeria fully recognized and supports terrorists and has been granting them amnesty, paying them billions of naira and never makes any move to arrest their leaders or members after they publicly admit to attacking and killing dozens in rural communities.
Why would I want to be recognized by a govt that pays allegiance to terrorists? Fact is, the day govt accepts ESN is the day it will start losing any credibility it has.
I'm not sure I support ESN or IPOB. But as an Igbo, I have long realized that the country Nigeria has no place for me, or my future aspirations. So, I will pitch my tent with any demon that is aimed at making the Nigerian project impotent. This isn't a case of "the devil you know"
And so I asked a supplier to bring a trip of chippings to my site, we agreed on a full truck of 10 tons average. The truck driver refused to give me his location or travel progress from the onset, only to reach the site and start calling me that he is ready to offload. I quickly told him to wait till I can get someone to verify the quantity and size of his load. In less than a minute, he has tipped his truck and is ready to leave, asking for his balance of about N20,000.
The driver called me and wanted to take his pay immediately, I told him that this wasn't the agreement I had with the supplier, and he went berserk, preventing workers from working and causing obstruction of work flow. On phone, I asked all workers to go about their work and allow him be. So the driver ordered his boys to start manually throwing the chippings back into his truck, and if he moves with this load, he says he will never refund the earlier N80,000 I paid as advance for the chippings.
At that point I asked workers in the site to prevent him from moving my chippings, see trouble, a fight quickly broke out and the community gathered, it took the intervention of the community youths leadership to settle the matter. The driver was blamed for offloading without confirmation and I was asked to reduce his balance by N5,000.
Lesson learned, always deal with those you can trust.
Obviously, he was trying to hide the fact that he didn't deliver a full load.
seunpinky: I also like your opinion as it allows every shop owner enjoy flow of human traffic and gives them visibility as more customers would have to walk down to the end of the plaza to use the stairs.
This is a very compelling argument for location of the stairs
Igboid: No one in Igbo land eat Banga soup or whatever you lots call it.
We eat Ofe akwu. They are not same. Stop patronizing yourselves. No well raised Igbo man will eat Banga and like it, let alone mistake it for Ofe akwu. No offense.
