Wetin dey happen. I investigated every department everything dey go well. This week I faced the bar and restaurant. Told the waiters and barmen to write everything sold. Even to bottled water. I didn't tell them why I just explained that I needed to know how every drink is being consumed so that my suppliers will increase the quantity they bring.
I collated the sales and instead of profit I lost over 50k. Hehehe thief no dey tiff tiff. Entered statement of account from the bar accounts and saw it was balanced with the figure projected. Nice one. Called the staffs. Who owe una....no one. No problem. Collected the pos receipts and boom, caught the thief. You see what she did was she prints a receipt twice. Let's say you bought stuffs worth 20k. She prints it twice. And keeps the merchant copy for two. when someone else pays she tells them POS is not available and then provides an account number. Once the amount is up to 20k she takes that her copy and drops it with the accountant. How she edits it I'll never know. I asked her to go home as if nothing happened. Today she has been picked up. We are still collating her theft. As at one hour ago E don reach 500k. So disappointed.
Make una dey careful out there guys. Some people aim na to destroy you. The exact reason it is difficult to run small businesses in the country. Apart from govt doing their best to stifle businesses, theft from staff is the number one killer. Damn!! |

I thought ESN was created to secure SE region as a whole? ESN supposed to be engaging with UGM for bringing unrest to SE...
That's only if ESN are not UGM.
Whatever the case may be, UGM can not last long in SE.
It get why
No reasonable Igbo person would support terrorism to strive in his region
UGM don't even have enough ordinary operational vehicle not to talk of having excess of ammunition.
The miscreants called UGM members are not even up to 1,000...
South East as a region is too small for UGM guerilla tactics as they can be easily flushed out with just air raid.
Is it not hypocritical for some people to be condemning Bandits, Boko haram but hailing/supporting UGM.
Only enemies of SE , enemies of peace, enemies of development would still be praising those miscreants UGM .

JungleJustice01: I'll be succinct. I've messed up and I take full responsibility for my actions. All I'm trying to do now is save those close to my heart.
I'm married 2 years with an 8 month baby. I'm a faithful husband at heart but I just lost focus and landed in this deep mess.
My first stinct at adultery was late into my wife's pregnancy when I could not hold body. This situation was further compounded when I relocated due to work and come home every 3 weeks or so. My carefree attitude also contributed to this but I'm not staying them as excuses. I did what I did.
I met this deeper life young girl about a month ago. She was about 23, good looking and has an innocent air around her. Last week thereabout we met up and made out after weeks of chatting. In the process, my contraceptive broke and it happened raw for a minute or two before I replaced it.
Now one week later and I having strong symptoms of HIV exposure. Had I known, I would have gone for Pep. I am 75% sure of infection at this point.
I'm home now and I don't want to touch my wife who is constantly on my neck since I returned. I don't want to infect her or my child....and I can't come to terms with telling her everything right now. This is someone who is so faithful and she has expressly stated that she will not entertain any hint of infidelity.
I'm so done for, I need advice Extremely dumb people all over cyber space. Really? One week after unprotected sex, and you are having symptoms of HIV? Yours is most likely brain damage. If there are actual symptoms just a week later, then you are already immuno compromised. You are merely being paranoid. I don't have kind words for you. You were exposed, you didn't think to go for HIV screening to confirm, neither did you think about seeing a physician for post exposure prophylaxis. All you can think of is to come online to wail. For what exactly? I'm not blaming you for commiting adultery. Anyone can fall for that I'm blaming you for refusing to use your God given brain the right way after the sex. |

They move to a certain place in the south, and will never integrate with the locals. They look for an empty land isolated from residences, clear it, build their guys and occupy the place. They won't buy land or build house or even rent a room. They still operate like they are in the middle ages. Their primitive ways point them out like outcasts. Northerners who blend with the civilization down south, live among the general populace, rent or own their own houses and do their normal business hardly face any such antagonism from members of the public. spyder880: TO AVOID "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?"
We were ready to cast a decking one morning, the crew that will mix and cast this decking are a bunch of street boys who are better off in the motor parks than handling headpans and shovels. I have had reasons to raise my voice with them a couple of times that morning for trying to turn the processes upside down. But we commenced the work nevertheless.
Too much noise, too much distractions and just too many work stoppages has kept me and them busy all day. The matter still causing a problem was their refusal to pay the food vendor that they are here food, she tried to block them from working and was slapped twice, I had to intervene, and later paid the lady, telling them that i will deduct the money from their pay.
The owner of the work turned up around noon and wanted to climb the deck to inspect the work, i immediately saw trouble looming. I tried to advice the client to please not go onto the deck but he wouldn't have any of it, he insisted on going to see the work, and he had this very crisp white "agbada" traditional wear with matching cap. How can I prevent this trouble. I told the workers to wait downstairs while we went up with Oga on the shaky temporal stairs used in casting concrete. We were busy inspecting the work while Oga was asking questions
I was so shocked when it happened, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a shadow and before I could turn and stop him, too late, this boy has thrown his full load of wet concrete on the other wet concrete on the deck, shooting off heavy splatters in every direction, Oga and his white clothes were caught in the shooting sludge and well sprayed, his left eyeglass even caught a sizeable stain from the wet concrete! Chai!
I rushed the guy, I screamed at him, nearly pushed him, but he knew what he did, and with a satisfied grin on his face, he was saying a hypothetical "sorry Sir"
I apologised to Oga, and offered to fetch water so we could scrub off the stains, but Oga said, no problems, he will head back home and change.
As I was escorting the client past the boys, they were talking among themselves, but very audible to us. They were saying that important people shouldn't be coming upstairs on a decking cast, in their words " TO AVOID, DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?" Why did you go ahead to allow those boys work at the site? They are security risks, in the short and long term. |

Bundaweber: the world is not sunshine and roses. If someone had told those of the sixties that Nigeria would devolve into this mess they would have laughed themselves silly. I view anyone that thinks about forming a new nation as a coward that is not ready to take up a challenge. what happens when the new "nations" follow the path that Nigeria is taking? are they then going to call for another " break up". look up the Balkan countries and the other countries that broke up and ask them sincerely if they would have prefered to be part of the Union. I believe that solving Nigeria challenges is easier than founding a new nation. All it takes is political will, equity and fairness of just a few of our leaders and Nigeria will blossom again. Even buhari can turn this country around if he and his team decides to show this trait. but instead the elites that will still be a part of this new "nations" would rather continue to amass stolen funds as if they are going to bribe angel Micheal and Gabriel in the afterlife You are wrong in every way. Nigeria as a country has no will to correct the ills it is plagued with. Don't know how old you are, but it seem you haven't realized that since the war ended in 1970, every single politician keep talking about solving the problem of the country, yet none of them is ready to look the problem in the eye. All they do is pay lip service, and 50 years later, we are still running around in circles You wanna tell me that 50 years isn't enough to solve a country's problem and place it on the path of speedy development? You're playing the ostrich here. You also have that political mentality that when people ask for restructuring or secession, they are looking for trouble. Else you won't be talking about solving a problem the country has absolutely refused to acknowledge, much less taking steps to resolving it. Put this into perspective: if there had been restructuring 20 or 30 years ago, we wouldn't be discussing this shít right now. We would be talking cutting edge technology and competing with advanced countries in the areas of science, ICT, medicine and robotics rather than creating Ruga and cow colonies. |
Politics › Re: This Is For Those That Always Threaten Igbos With War by whirlwind7(m): 10:08am On Apr 15, 2021 |
NigeriaIsZOO: What the Nigerian government relied on to "win" the war was the blockade and aerial bombardment of civilian population. Take this two out of the equation and you will see that the war would have continued for ages with no side winning despite the massive support Nigeria enjoyed and availability of massive arsenals.
Now, if IPOB/ESN is pushed into war, it can only be a guerilla war, thus aerial bombardment of cities, schools, markets etc won't happen and blockade will also not be possible. Then how would Nigeria expect to win?
The war may drag for 1, 2, 3 or even 5 years but ultimately, it will end in a referendum which everyone knows Igbos will overwhelmingly vote to go their way. What gives you the impression that aerial bombardment won't happen? Nigerian govt has no moral qualms with killing civilians. This was recently demonstrated with bombing of IDP camps. The air force has bombed certain locations where they thought terrorists/bandits have their hideouts, without reliable intelligence gathering. This resulted in many civilian casualties. What about the incident of a few days ago where the army went to a community in Benue State to kill scores of civilians and burn down an entire village because soldiers were killed? Here's a country that never apologized or show remorse for the brutal killing of millions of unarmed people during the war, and you expect that it can't do it again? Know your enemy. That's the first rule. You need to operate with the mindset that if given the chance, FG will indeed sanction aerial bombings of civilian locations. What you need is to put in place a deterrent to that. An adequate defence or even an offensive strategy to put such cowardly move in check. They did it before. They can do it again. |
Politics › Re: The Fate Of Nigerdelta If Nigeria Splits. by whirlwind7(m): 9:02am On Apr 15, 2021 |
FatherOfJesus: This post is going to assume that Ondo, Abia and IMO state are not part of Nigerdelta, however for purpose the name they call it, Nigerdelta republic, I’m sticking to it.
First of all, I’m from Rivers state, specifically Omuma, an Igbo speaking part of rivers state. Personally I think Nigerdelta republic only exist on paper and will most likely not come in to fruition. The diverse nature of the region is stable because it’s under Nigeria, if Nigeria splits today, Nigerdelta will cease to exist.
There are so many tribes in that region with different agenda, we Omuma would mostly like want to join my kinsmen rather join another multiethnic wahala. In Nigerdelta, groups do not agree, the Nigerian Government is trying to foster peace in the region just for the purpose of oil and gas exploitation by using all means including settling traditional and political leaders against our people. I do not think for example, Ibibio and Efik people really want to be in a sole country with IJaws and binis, these tribes hardly share anything in common and forming another country will be another Nigeria-like chaos. In essence, we in nigerdelta, we know that we cannot agree and it’s laughable that IJaws are trying hard to push for another overly multi ethnic nation.
The best bet for Nigerdelta is for Nigeria never to split however If happens to spilt, forget it, no nation can come out of there. It will all come to a matter of alignment and negotiations, the fate of Nigerdelta is that it will split further to aligning with Biafra and oduduwa republic and some might even join Cameroon. Each group in the region will consider their short and long term interests, they will be lots and lots of negotiations and even forceful land ownership.
We in Nigerdelta know this, don’t let us deceive ourselves. This is probably the first time I have read someone's honest and sincere analysis of how things would shape up in the Niger Delta in the aftermath of Nigeria breaking up. You are spot on about the Nigeria entity keeping the Delta region as one so far because of the crude oil factor. And yes, I believe you are right about the various ethnic groups seeking alliances with nearby Yoruba and Igbo nations, as well as neighboring Cameroon. There is no better option, else the region will become a basket case. One thing that is certain though: if Nigeria doesn't seek peaceful restructuring, then a break up is imminent. No argument. Which also means that leaders and prominent sons and daughters from the Niger Delta should begin early enough to discuss and weigh their options. Though in these parts, we tend to leave issues to fester until it is almost too late to make a headway. |

spyder880: The case of the Missing electrical cables.
On the site of one of the beautiful houses I have built in this forum, I got two electricians to wire the house for me, I had bought the very costly Cutix cables for the whole house and knowing the high cost of the cables, which makes them more prone to pilfering, I brought the cables to the site in the trunk of my car and was standing in wait, watching as the cables were being used. I wanted to see what the real cable consumption will be so I can make near accurate decisions in other sites. I had fired two of my previous electricians before hiring these two, those who were fired was because of missing items, especially electric cables.
From the start, the two electricians were not comfortable with my presence and i could see it in their attitude. They seemed to be slowing things down in the hope that i will walk away so they could "act" but I stayed put, taking notes on how many rooms the cables can run. We were working on 2.5mm single core cables.
After about 5 hours of slow work, I decided to go find something to eat, so I brought out 2 cables, and unknown to the electricians, I gave them the cables with a new wrapper, quite different from all the old ones they were using all day. I returned to site after about an hour, by that time they were calling me on phone to come back and give them more cables since they had exhausted the 3 coils I gave them before leaving. I immediately suspected foul play.
So I walked into the site and they were asking me, "is the boot open?" I replied them with "Can I see the wrapper of the cables that just finished?" Meanwhile, I was walking through the remaining rooms to see the coverage of the cables, only one additional room was wired in my absence. Something is clearly wrong here.
They went and got me the old wrappers as the ones they just used, I laughed and told them that their trap just caught a useless smelly rat today. That's how the search for the new wrapper started. Two hours, and they were still up turning everything and searching for the wrappers they just used.
They gave every reason in the book why the wrappers varnished, but I insisted that except they produce the wrappers, they are going to the nearest police station from the site. I started calling policemen in the station to come to site and make the arrest. Me and other workers all joined the search, for hidden coils of cables this time around. It took another one hour or more before one carpenter climbed into the ceiling and onto the roof, from there he found 2 brand new unopened cables, plus another 1.5mm cable all neatly hidden in the roof, away from our eyes. The electricians later admitted to hiding the cables in the ceiling. I just gave them transport money to return to Enugu same night, because I can no longer tolerate their presence in the site.
Things do happen in sites o Just lost my appetite as I read this |

Eval123: please I need advice.
Am a young guy age 28 currently in my final year hoping to graduate this year by God's grace. Am in a relationship in with a gal I love so much and the love keeps growing day by the day. She is 30 years old and just graduated this year but she is talking of waiting for me so we can serve together. The thing now is that I wish to get married to her but am not ready now. But she says she can wait for me if only I won't disappoint her. Now am confuse, if she waits for me for 5 years she would be 35 by then and am not sure if it's right getting married to someone 2 years older than me and someone at the age of 35 or above.. to add to it, she doesn't look her age, even if someone sees us, there won't believe she is my senior.. pls am really confused, have never dated someone who understands me like she do.. Note: she never knew my age, she thought we were age mate cause of my voters card she saw which doesn't carry my real age.. You may not take this advice seriously because it hasn't got anything to do with your post, but I'll say it anyway. The first word I saw when I wanted to read your post was "Am" As someone who passed through primary and high school, and has already spent a number of years in a university or polytechnic, this shows poor learning. Your language of instructions throughout your schooling was English, right? You ought to have learned the difference between "Am" and "I'm" Don't be one of those who give the excuse that English isn't their mother tongue, because such people can't even write or read in their native language if they couldn't comprehend a language they used (English) all through their school years. So, instead of using "am", the proper thing to write is "I am". "I'm" is the short form of "I am" "Am" does not stand alone. It is not proper. Finally, to your dilemma. You claim you love the lady, and she has decided to wait for you, despite the age difference. She being a woman knows her biological clock is ticking, but is ready to wait. Means she has more to lose, right? So, you lose nothing by going along with her. Just take the added precaution of letting some older and trusted members of your family and hers know what you two have decided. Let them know she promised to wait for you, and you didn't force her to make this decision. This is just in case things don't work out, and she turns around to blame it on you for wasting her time. Women can be fickle like that. If she is worth the wait, reward her patience by being true to her. I'm a few years older than my wife. We met in the university, and even though we both had time on our side, I felt some pressure because suitors were bombarding her and her family on the daily. After she kept trying to persuade me to go meet her family, I sat her down and looked her in the eyes and told her, she will have to give me X number of years to put my acts together. We were both fresh graduates (we graduated same time) and waiting for NYSC call up. Told her after 1 year NYSC, I need to be employed, get my own apartment, and be financially stable before I get married. If she feels she can't wait for that number of years I asked for, then she can go get married to anyone of the dozens of men forming a queue in front of her father's house. And I would try to not let her decision piss me off Next came her emotional blackmails with endless weeping: that I don't love her as I claimed, that i want her out of my life, bla bla and more bla Bottom line, she was willing to wait, but was scared that while waiting, another chic could capture my heart. Her parents were also on her neck because the queue of suitors was getting longer, and they are getting tired from entertaining so many suitors, and time waits for no one, not even for the hottest spinster in town. Long story short, we got married, but a little beyond the time I gave her. Things don't always go according to plan, but if both of you work towards a shared goal, nothing is impossible. The age difference is no issue. Good luck. |

sapphiere: Dear mothers, by no means should you leave your girl child in the custody of a man be it her father. Your father must have been a terrible, terrible man. I feel pity for you. He obviously violated you so much and made you his little penìs receptacle, you now feel a lot of animosity towards men in general But then, you should realize that not all men are like your father. I'm a father too. And I will protect my kids with the last drop of my blood. If yours failed you, it wasn't your fault. He also failed himself. I advise you seek medical and psychological counseling. It is well with you. |
