Reading posts from half baked dudes like this gives me eyestrain! I think both of them suit each other nicely. |
This is the type of face, once you take a look at it, you can't help but think he's guilty of the crime. ![]() |
I get goosebumps thinking how it will feel peeling off those tapes! Especially if you got tiny hairs |
Everyone in the congregation had a sachet of water in their hands. They were all raised up in prayer...yet it's only the bottled one with pastor they were all called forward to taste, and they all agreed it tasted like wine. Even if it was still water, I don't think any of them would have the guts to shout: "Pastor! omi lasan ni eleyi keh....!" ![]() |
FarmTech:Sincerely, I don't think the purpose of this thread is to answer ridiculous questions or respond to statements about how unhealthy or even poisonous this practice could be. Let those who see the massive opportunity in this idea learn from it. These arguments remind me of a certain haughty lady at a grocery who was about to buy meat. when the butcher suggested she can buy some cow tongue, she took offense, and said she is above eating anything that comes from inside the mouth of an animal. The butcher then asked her: do you eat eggs? Her reply: of course I do! ![]() Get it? She won't eat something that comes from the mouth of a cow, yet she eats something that comes from the ass of a chicken. If all these guys haven't still realized that everything we eat comes from a cycle of nature-recycled plants, animal and even human beings, what are they doing in the agriculture section? |
Nicely p!mped. Looks cool. Though one should beware of those protruding exhaust pipes. I'm sure many legs have been accidentally burned by it already. |
The mistake these ingenious Aba guys keep making is borne out of our inferiority complex...that foreign is better. Here's a nice looking footwear which would rival many products from across the world, yet you had to devalue it by stamping Prada and Gucci labels on it. Same way the world viewed made in China products few years ago. The Chinese were unfazed, and they kept working on their brands. Today, "made in China" dominates every single corner of the world. Talk about standing behind your brand, and let the haters keep blasting you, not knowing that the more noise they make, the more everyone takes notice. These guys should stamp "made in Nigeria" or "proudly Naija" boldly on all their products. Wearing Aba made shoes will not make me an inferior being. |
Perhaps he got the inspiration from "The Martian" movie. You should know that most people who fall for scams are not just greedy, but stupid to boot. So, don't be so surprised if this seemingly ridiculous bait ends up catching a prey. You won't believe how monumentally stup!d some people really are. |
Some people are just dumb! I'm not even talking about the criminal point of view of their decision to get married (criminal, because gay marriage and/or practice is illegal in Nigeria) What I'm talking about is, why get married in the first place, since the marriage cannot not be legally binding? Nigeria doesn't recognize it, so why bother? Should have just kept on screwing each other peacefully, privately. If they had decided to continue to destroy each others anus in the privacy of their room, no one would really care. But they felt they had to take it a step further by getting married. In a public place for that matter! For what purpose or benefit? I don't even know what they hoped to achieve from getting married, since the law of the land will not recognize or accept them as a couple. They should have gone to country that legally recognize gay unions to do it, if they were desperate to be addressed as man and wife. |
Bad mouth meets "worse mouth" So, now she seeks help from everyone after throwing the first volley? She didn't pay her as expected, so she resorted to insults and curses. What the actress did was to curse her back. She ought to have sought for a civilized means to claim her debt in the first place. Couldn't even make much out of the horrid English she typed. |
FarmTech:Thank you so much, FarmTech. I find this post extremely useful. |
That moment you come to realize that a single flower from BankyW is more important than the gifts her boyfriend saved 15k to get her. |
![]() Lukmon! Oya, gbe! gbe! gbe si GBOO!!! ![]() O le s'ee n'gbo (You can headbutt him!) That man is very passionate, I tell ya. The guy who taped this should have given us a glimpse of the fight, though. |
Take the budget of Delta state government for instance. This amount of money can build mini estate! Exactly what sort of maintenance are they going to do within one fiscal year, that could exhaust such an amount? Will they tear down the roofs and rebuild it? Will they destroy the doors, windows, furniture, electrical fittings, wiring, plumbings and purchase new ones? Why can't these politicians have an iota of conscience? Why are we so cursed in this country? Is there anywhere in the world with a democratic government that such outrageous amounts are spent with absolutely nothing to show for it? Can these governors in all honesty spend N10m of their own money to "maintain" their personal house? We are doomed. |
LondonCool:Kindly, is there a reason for gradually buying vibrated blocks, instead of moulding them? I ask this because, since you have the time, and you are getting the blocks in stages, wouldn't it have been better to mould the blocks onsite instead? |
mufutau55:Apart from aesthetics, is there a practical reason for such high roofs? I'm aware that in temperate regions where there is a lot of snow, high roofs are recommended so that snow doesn't get to pile up on the roof, and cause damages. In a tropical climate like Nigeria, does high roof serve a purpose, please? |
Tequilah:I have asked him this question on a similar thread. The answer: You cannot do conduit wiring and plumbing with this brick. It has to be surface, because these bricks cannot be hollowed out like conventional sandcrete blocks. Another way to make conduit possible is by combination of these earth bricks with hollow blocks. I am thinking about going this route. |
omenka:Peace, brother. Perhaps she is just acting as her moniker suggests. The problem with us Nigerians is we'd rather confront ourselves, instead of the government who doesn't care a hoot if we all survive or perish. With the amount of death and destruction Fulani herdsmen had caused, you'd think the government would have put stringent measures in place to check their activities. More than 40 decades with thousands dead across the central and southern parts of Nigeria, yet till this day, it is treated as a none issue. What would happen if affected states decide to totally shut down every economic activities for a few days or weeks, to press for reforms? Haven't we had enough of these killings? |
Spot on, genius! Most of these misconceptions arise when individuals do not read the bible to understand it, but rather depend on interpretations of clergymen and charlatans alike. Of course, what MOG would tell you that it's okay not to attend church service regularly? Quite a few. |
Is every physically challenged person a beggar? |
Well, look at it this way: If you had to pay tithe every three years or monthly, it still boils down to the same thing. If you are someone who pays it faithfully, it means you have to bring 10% of your earnings over a 3 year period, right? Paying it monthly only means that you broke it down to smaller installments. Same comparison can be made if you are paying your rents monthly or annually. You end up paying the same amount, only that monthly payment breaks it into smaller, manageable portions. Now, tell me this. If you were given the option of paying tithes monthly, or in bulk after 3 years, which would you chose? Assuming you will truthfully pay the correct amount every 3 years (that is, accumulated monthly tithe multiplied by 36 months) would you choose to pay it after every 3 years? I doubt this. By the way, I'm not an advocate for tithe or no tithe. Just putting your argument into perspective. Have a great Sunday! |
spyder880:Thanks for the prompt response, but I made a mistake with my dimensions. The plot is actually 100ft x 50ft. This makes it about 464.5 sqm. |
Jagaban2016: spyder880:Would be helpful to have this info, as well. Would it be ok to site a building of this dimension on a 500sq meter plot? Spyder880, please could you shed some light on this? If you need to be discreet about it, then I understand. You are doing a nice job here! |
Africans!!! |
Littering has become a part of most of us. We do it without even thinking. You know, there are times when you gently correct someone who litters, and they glare at you like you just insulted them. Some will ask you what makes it your business. I was vindicated on a certain day, while in a public bus, this man beside me was hungrily munching on roasted corn. Soon as he's done, he threw the corn cob along with the paper it was wrapped in, and the nylon bag out the bus window. We were moving, and I admonished him that what he just did was wrong. He vented his rage on me. Telling me to mind my own business. He queried if the road belonged to me, or if I'm the one who pays the road sweepers. I just shook my head and kept quiet. At the next stop, the bus waited to pick up passengers. Next thing that happened is a police van pulled over. The angry cops asked who threw out something from the bus. They were spoiling for a showdown, from their very hostile approach. The offender was pointed out and they whisked him away. We later got to learn that the corn cob that the man threw from the bus hit the police van that was coming behind us. Talk about instant karma! |
Your experience is harrowing. What you went through just showed that the so called judges are totally ignorant. How could such myopic and small minded peasants be made judges in a beauty pageant with potentials of going international? South Africans have long lost their own identity. The Whites among them had bullied and fvcked up their mentality so much, they needed outlets to vent their frustrations. This has made them turn against fellow blacks from different countries. Their xenophobia isn't over. Before this year ends, they are bound to carry out such attacks yet again. I read a new report on how they just rounded up hundreds of Nigerians for no reason, and they likely could get deported. Imagine saying you couldn't be Nigerian because you are light skinned. Just goes to show the depth of their ignorance and hate. |
Where are her bridesmaid to escort her along? Would have made an interesting occasion especially if her entourage had walked with her, forming a procession. Count your blessings, luv. Today's marathon handed you lemons,.....so make lemonades. By the way, I really pray we don't get to hear about casualties from today's marathon event. Those pics of collapsed marathoners looked scary. |
Nigerians + social media= helping others to mind their business. It is far worse among the female folks. Calling someone you haven't met before a prostitute, just because you can do so over the internet. Sometimes, you begin to see certain merits of the Social Media Bill in contention. |
happybrother:That's just it. Anyone waiting on govt intervention isn't ready to begin. The thing is not to factor govt support in any part of the production. If govt eventually steps in, it becomes a bonus |
brunofarad:I feel you. The cockroaches are beginning to come out of the woodwork ![]() |
