The victim should try to pick up the pieces of her life and move on. circumstances just helped her get rid of a backstabber in the guise of a friend, and a cowardly asshole who she was fortunate enough not to get married to. Someone up there said maybe she hasn't got a certain quality the man needed. Well, isn't 4 years of dating and courtship enough for him to realize this? We keep talking about "wife material" in women. The truth is, there are many men out there who are not worth getting married to. |
This issue of labeling kids as witches has refused to stop in Akwa Ibom. I watched a horrible documentary that showed what kids go through once their lazy ass parents decide they were responsible for their joblessness or any other sort of misfortune. It is the a ready made excuse for most unsuccessful people in that region. Witch doctors and even so called pastors are smiling to the bank from the fees they get paid by the gullible parents of such kids. Fees paid for exorcising the "spirits" behind such witchcraft. You'd think that in this modern age, they should know better. Same region where a few decades ago, twin babies are viewed as evil and thrown away. Ignorance is in their genes. |
The senior officers were just goofing around at their expense. Perhaps they were told to mete out punishment to each other over their misconducts. Either which, this isn't the reason why military personnel misbehave in public. Such things like this are common in military establishments across the world. Rough plays and macho display of ego is a regular sight in military cantonments everywhere. These are men who let the kids in them come out to play occasionally. Why they mishandle members of the public is because there is no discipline in the institution anymore. When the military tasted power, and the civilian populace cowered before them, they are yet to get over that euphoria because our impotent civilian government haven't done enough to put them in check. |
These photos kind of make me wonder about TY's claim that the "Agege bread" lady just happened to be walking by, is not a model, and wasn't planned for, or a part of the photo shoot. I strongly doubt that. Who hawks agege bread at night? |
The most disgusting thing about this, is that these robbers most times, will eventually raid the houses as promised. Especially long after the period they specified in their letter, when the people and security forces are no longer vigilant. I have witnessed such occurrence in different parts of Lagos. If only our almost comatose government will reintroduce death by public execution of such apprehended criminals.... |
CaroLyner:. Same thing I thought. This isn't working out. Just taking a vain pose. Who does workout with such kind of shoes? |
jasper7:Yes you can! Your words are making love to my heart! |
Believe this cooked up bullshyte, and you would believe anything. They lived in a flat, yet she had to climb a staircase from the living room (where her son was asleep on the sofa) to get to the bedroom. That scenario described what probably is a duplex, yet she mentioned they lived in a flat such that her gossipy neighbor in the opposite flat to hers can overhear them. What flat has a staircase from the living room to the bedroom? |
Daminaj2:. The reason why people shouldn't live their life on the pages of public tabloids. Just because she didn't post something at first, folks who make other people's life their business began making insinuations. What would happen if she still didn't put up any picture? Una no get work? ![]() |
Oookay... The pilgrimage has begun: visits and photo-ops to the latest web sensation. |
Biafrarep:Noted. Thanks. |
Biafrarep:You haven't bothered to include your contact details. |
A 19 year old. Very pretty (according to your words) With a mesmerizing smile...but a deaf mute. You see, I love challenges. I would love to experience friendship and beyond with such a girl. Dating her would require an advanced and demanding level of attention from you. You will have to communicate with a lot of writings and gesticulations. You will get fed up easily if you are not committed and patient. Could be a refreshing change from the endless chatter of certain girls. I may be wrong though. Her refusal to attend a school for special or challenged students could be a pointer that she has a strong personality. She might be a no-nonsense type. Which makes it all the more excitingly scary. My take: Only try to date her if you are serious. If you intend a hit and run fling, I'm pretty sure she's the type who won't blink when she cuts off you weenie with a pair of scissors. |
Jusmudi: Cutehector:Same thought I had, but you can see from the above, that they were not charged for sodomy or homosexual act. The court charged them for lesser offenses, even though they were reportedly caught engaging in anal sex. That's the type of judiciary we are saddled with. Everything in this country is a joke. |
It shows to what level the education sector has degenerated. This sort of material is usually purchased by mushroom private schools from unrecognized publishers. They in turn sell it to their pupils at a slightly marked up price to make a little profit. Since nothing gets regulated anymore, our school system keeps churning out products that can hardly string a sentence together. The right of a nation. That's how it begins. Right from kindergarten. |
The one naija bought. That isn't a train, it's what the former owners called a disused "locomotive" ![]() If we don't kill ourselves with our corrupt tendencies, then nothing else will. There is something fundamentally wrong with us Africans and the black race. |
Well, that he owns Innoson doesn't mean he should dump his other cars now, does it? Someone from Innoson had replied that the man drives the Landmark SUV. Actually, it will cost him very little to drive and maintain any brand of Innoson vehicles because servicing and spare parts replacement would be very easy for him. He is the one person with the most confidence to use this brand, due to this convenience. That's simple logic. Dild you expect ALL the vehicles he drives to line up for your inspection because you visited his home? |
You don't expect him to dump his other cars because he owns Innoson, do you? If anyone should have the most confidence in using Innoson vehicles, it should be it's owner, because the cost of servicing and parts replacement should not be an issue for him. |
They are described as "classy, fearless and driven" Well, that's what daddy's money can do for you ![]() If my old boy had half of Otedola's fortune, I would probably be described as "Incredibly suave, extremely fearless with killer instinct" ![]() Chei!! Money good o. Let me step up my hustle. That's how I want the tabloids to describe my kids. |
Stexy:. Bugatie:Of course, it is international, and was not exclusively aimed at Nigeria. Just the shallow minded poster up there who must think Naija is the only entity that exists on planet earth and the sole "oyel" merchant |
![]() Wonder why almost everyone's telling her to remove the pics. SHE IS CHILLIN WITH HER BAE, goddamit! Whether her "bae" informed her before hand that he was married is up for debate. When the mumu guy allowed her to take a selfie of them together, didn't it occur to him that the picture might end up on the internet? |
As it is, the UAE government has got nothing to lose by making their identities public. Very likely most of the houses have been fully paid for, and few are still under mortgages. Either which, UAE benefits. The worst that could happen is, crooked politicians are made to forfeit ownership of the houses, while the Nigerian government either sell or lease them out. Yeah, it's likely pro-APC elements who could be on that list are being shielded. |
Let's hope it doesn't become the sight for refuse dump and tout hangouts in a few years from now. I hope those mini buses shown there are properties of a private investor, and not acquired by the state government too. |
I can't fvcking believe what I'm reading! So, the crowd all watched and waited till the baby cried herself to death??! What makes them better than whoever dumped the baby? They hung around and rained curses on the mother and stuck their fingers up their ass.....till the baby died!! And they gave fear of police as their excuse for doing nothing. Jeez!!! Lost generation. |

You did the right thing. The issue is that the pervasive insecurity everywhere in the country has made people's instinct for self preservation override their humanitarian side. Which is the reason why your father rebuked you, that you could have walked into a trap. In many parts of Lagos, people won't even pause to tell you what time it is, or point you in the right direction when you seem lost. Just be smart and quick at assessing each situation and make rational decisions. Treat each situation according to it's merits. Times are bad. |
Hi, Spyder880. I came across this new post on Nairaland. Are you aware of this product? Kindly check the link: https://www.nairaland.com/2873997/amazing-concrete-without-gravel-new |
Pretty sure he probably can't read half of what's printed on that letter. If he could, he would have copied the spelling for "appointment" "a point man letter" indeed. |
You see, by the time she is seen begging on a brand new, very shiny wheel chair with a comfortably padded seat, her earnings might reduce because people could passive her as a "rich" begger ![]() Better to exude the air of wretchedness and hopelessness. This is what brings "customers" her way, and swell her earnings. That wheel chair dey spoil market! ![]() |
purest21:I understand how you feel. If she's not being reasonable and sympathetic to the sacrifice you have made so far, then you don't need a civilized way to ask her to leave. Just do it. Make sure you have someone close to you witness when you take her to the bus park and get her in a bus back to her place. You can take the bus driver's phone number too....just in case. |
I thought after the hospital visit, you would at least mention the nature of the illness as revealed to you by the doctor. Or perhaps you didn't ask him? Remember there's lassa fever in town. Now that you got a liability instead of the anticipated shagging you had prepared for, you gotta take the good with the bad. Maybe God is about to use you to save a life ![]() Look at the brighter side of things, ok. Just nurse her to health, then maybe she could be in the frame of mind to ease your blue balls. It could turn out to be a win-win situation yet. |
