Believe it or not, I'm from IMO and visit Owerri regularly, I hate to generalize but when you see stuff happening that you've never seen before in many other parts of Naija. . .  Then you should speak out. I grew up in Lagos, Schooled in Enugu, resided in abuja, speak yoruba, ibo, and hausa quite fluently as a result, and i have not seen this level of madness. . . And i'm not blind ohhh.

This isn't the first time i am hearing of this, A friend of mine got married to a lady from Owerri. when she got to her husband's house, she really messed up and now they are divorced, Heard the ladies are really wayward and greedy, and they are all about the money, even those that are not brought up in Owerri but are from Owerri

The funny thing is that this trend did not start very recently oh. I went to visit my class-mate in Owerri one time like that, when i got there, her mum actually asked me [in a very funny dialect of ibo] if i came to see her or her daughter

If u find someone else that attractive then your present guy doesnt mean much to u. It may be time to re-assess your relationship with him. If this new guy feels the same way as u - also finds u irresistible, then i think u should consider that critically too. . . There are romantic nigerians but they're few and far between. . . Many associate true love with wealth and looks but thats very shallow. I dont get troubled until i am troubled by the presence of someone i find truly ideal.

I get to meet all sorts of ladies every working day - its part of my job to even take them out to lunch and evening drinks so i've probably attended over 450 dates in the space of 6 months (1 in every 2 days at work), but i can say that if 70 of those were black and women, then about 45 would be nigerians.
First thing i look out for is a turn off, and with at least 40 out of the 45 i'm sure i found something. Of the remaining 5, only 1 or 2 would get to the romantic cut-off point.
