Seriously one of my friends in 9ja is scared of them, but I never saw one.

I saw tarantulas though, 2 came in my house in the village. Almost pooped on myself.

It was big black and hairy.

It wa nighttime kinda cool (hammertime) and we had the door open to let in the breeze down stairs, everybody was watching tv, next thing I know some thing comes scurring across the floor(its easier to see things we have glossy tile)  so Im cool Im thinking its a roach, a pretty BIG roach. I never seen a roach in 9ja so i expected them to be big. So I just ignored it till 5 mins later it scurried under a couch, and I saw a closer glance at it, and my hairs began to stand up.

the roach thing had hairs all on it! it was hairy! My lil sister who had saw it began to stand up shouting.
then it ran from under the couch and everybody could see it was a huge hairy spider.
ewwwwww, and then NEPA CUT As old as I am i began to cry, I have severe arachnephobia.   Put a spider near me, I might do into shock, seriously.  

So one of my cousins came (laughing) and escorted me to my room with a latern. I didnt come back downstairs for the rest of the night.


The second time we was watching movies again, and I happend to look around, (Now im checking for bugs) another spider comes crawling in but it stuck it self on the ceiling, and I got a real good look at it
it was big as my hands =I yelled for my cousins to kill it! but they said that it wasnt doing anything, to leave it.

So I couldnt focus on the movie anymore, and I didnt want to stay in my room, So I watched the spider all night ,  until NEPA CUT AGAIN!!!

I felt the spider was comin right for me So i yelled and one of my cousins took me upstairs again.
I made them run the gen at night from then on.

I would rather a roach than a spider anyday. though my cousin in Lagos say the roaches bite, is that true?

jesus!   but if i were your cuz i'd lock you in with the spider so you can face and overcome your fears lol. do you live in some sort of new estate? cos i have a relative that lives far in new developing estates that has bushes around so things visits them a lot, i'll never forget when we got invaded by soldier ants (ijalo aka erun) in the middle of the night! they were up to 15million lol they were ginger and black ones and stung me then 1 got stuck on my neck lol

sorry to interupt thread but do you ladies remember when naija babes used to use white lipstick and black lipliner, me and my friend use to roam with it, what were we thinking absolutely disgusting, nothing worse than white lipstick lined with black liner lol
