Part of the weapons the company was supposed to supply are 30 T-72s and some numbers of shilka guns with thousands of ammunitions. Just check the name of the company and you will see several weapons we paid for but will never get.

So some idiots in the defense ministry decided to give $394 million to a foreign individual for weapons procurement and he has now disappeared so they had no choice than to declare him wanted. Even if he is found, can that amount be recovered?

The reasons we've been seeing increasing attacks from more factions in the northeast is because bokoharam/ISWAP seems to have bursted the myth of the invisibility of the Nigerian armed forces. Magumeri doesn't have any military presence. A telecommunication mast was destroyed and suspected military informants and tax defaulted were killed.
The Airforce had divided its assets between north east and north west hence the increase in the attacks.

Do you guys think delivery of attack platforms we are expecting like the JF17, tucanos, mi35m etc would make any difference to this war?
To me I don't think there would be any difference cos with the look of things the Airforce doesn't lack any strike ability against bokoharam location. The platforms might only make striking easier for the pilots and that's all.

It all depends on how they are used. They will definitely increase the capability of Airforce but then we've seen the most equipped military losing to rag tag militias several times in history. Let's just hope the Airforce maximizes the potentials of these platforms.

There is increasing confrontation between US soldiers in Syria and SAA soldiers. Three days ago, a US military convoy was prevented from passing through a checkpoint, it escalated to a gunfight and airstrike was called in that resulted in the death of Two Syrian soldiers and wounding others. Yesterday, a US drone was shot down over Syria.

In a world where people are demanding for the demilitarization of the police, we want to start arming them with artilleries?
People that are not even meant to be moving around with assault riffles sef, that is why they are able to kill innocent civilians carelessly.
The primary weapon of most of these police units should be tasers. Lethal weapons should be allowed only when on operations requiring it or by special teams meant for quick reactions.
Maybe they should also give them armored tanks and fighter jets
