Ambode we know. Agbaje had his chance to capitalize on the gaff of the Oba, but instead, he chose to overflog the issue and create a siege mentality in the minds of the Yorubas, thereby losing majority votes (Yorubas) at the expense of minority votes (Ibos). Who in this world honestly thinks Ibos are more than Yorubas in Lagos? |

topbound2013: Gurus in the house pls I need help. I have applied to the uni of konstanz uploading my original documents online BUT I want to confirm if I need to send certified hard copies also. I'm asking because I couldn't find any information on hard copies on their website and admission closes on 15th April this year.
I also want to confirm based on experiences of previous applicants, is it appropriate to upload certified documents during online applications or I upload original copies. I am asking because most schools are silent on this issue and I do not want to make any mistake.
Pls kindly assist with answer. I don't think I know about the first part, because different schools (or different programmes in same school) have different procedures; but if you don't see anywhere asking for it, it's probably not necessary. You could mail the programme coordinator for succinct information. As for the bolded, upload your originals. A CTC only affirms that a photocopy is equivalent of an original. I would believe an original is more authentic than a CTC as well. |

TheFilmmaker: Una too love to mumu each other.
Due to Mugabe's inaction against allegations, several scandals have come to light through the years. Zimbabwe is considered one of the most corrupt nations in the world, ranking 163rd out of 176 countries on the latest Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index. The organization also estimated that Zimbabwean officials received nearly $2 billion through corruption in 2012, rivalling the economically much larger South Africa and Nigeria.
Mugabe's critics accuse him of conducting a "reign of terror" and being an "extremely poor role model" for the continent, whose "transgressions are unpardonable". In solidarity with the April 2007 general strike called by the Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU), British Trades Union Congress general secretary Brendan Barber said of Mugabe's regime: "Zimbabwe's people are suffering from Mugabe's appalling economic mismanagement, corruption, and brutal repression. They are standing up for their rights, and we must stand with them." Lela Kogbara, Chair of ACTSA (Action for Southern Africa) similarly has said: "As with every oppressive regime women and workers are left bearing the brunt. Please join us as we stand in solidarity with the people of Zimbabwe in their struggle for peace, justice and freedom".

That is your most educated Mugabe. I am waiting for someone to come and tell me Sanni Abacha also had three hundred degrees.
Nigerians, quantifying certificates with intelligence to rule. Now aren't you guilty of the bolded? OP succinctly stated that Mugabe is the most EDUCATED president. He in no way stated he is the most intelligent, and also did not define any correlation between both. Now, while his leadership/rulership qualities are despicable (by many standards), he is by all means a well educated man. No offense, but I think you have comprehension issues with the writeup... |

crowns2: Well, i went to one Notary public. The only place where a seal is used because even the high courts i went to don't use it. At the Notary public i was charged =N=2,000 per page. And i am sending 9 pages each to 9 schools. Therefore making it a total of 81 pages. Then 81 pages multiplied by 2,000 amounts to 162,000. I think its outrageous. i have decided to go back to my former school to see if they can stamp and seal the photocopies. Uniassit actually said the issuing school can certify it. All these notary publics, their eye dey red Why don't you mail uni-assist first and explain to them that the high courts close to you certify with stamp(s) and signature(s) only, and ask them if this will suffice? |

yoged: Hi, pls for God sake. I didn't want to detail this thread with my question. Have been reading thru the pages for a while but can't really Get any info concerning PGD. Pls can anyone point a page that'll link me to PGD info on this thread. A Bsc graduate in Chemistry but wants to do pgd coz of grade. Thanks Well even DAAD doesn't list any "PGD-like" programme on their website. That said, if your CGPA is too low, it may not get you into a graduate programme, but might get you into a BSc programme (without the studienkolleg hurdle). If your CGPA is high enough, it "may" get you a Masters programme in a private or not-too-top-notch public university, more likely in the east. (Pls note that this post is assuming your CGPA is less than 3.00/5.00) Disclaimer: I cannot say I'm 100% correct. Just the little I know from the research I've done. |

hardywaltz: People like us who are in to property development will remember the days Amaechi who was able to put a stop to an Ikwerre age long culture of extorting from property developer in the name of "Marching Ground". This singular act of Amaechi, despite the fact he is an ikwerre man made me fall in love with him (no homo). But people who don't stay in Port Harcourt will never understand. Before it sounds like I'm whining, i remember back in 2011 when Abians had the opportunity to kick TA Orji out but they voted massively for him claiming that he was the only one who could fight Orji Uzor Kalu and his Mother.
Abian succeeded in voting in a fighter who is only interested in the spoils of war. Today OUK has the latest jet in Nigeria while the Abians were left with bad governance.
The last tym i visited Aba some months ago it looked like a place ruled by ISIS.... but i didn't feel pity for them coz Nigerians actually deserve the kind of leaders they get. And to think they still voted him to be their senator! You begin to think whether some people have any fraction of rationality in them. |

kommiejewel: From everything that's happening; even only on Nairaland, we can now see that APC don't mean well for the SE & SS regions... The way they're saying our votes don't count, then why did they campaign there in the first place? According to your post, I can also say that PDP doesn't mean well for the north, after all they are boasting about how the SS/SE will be 99% GEJ hence reducing (eliminating) the significance of northern votes. But that's not so. Politics, especially democracy, is first and foremost a game of numbers, and going by the voting population of the north vs the south; it's safe to say the SE/SS votes pale to numerical insignificance. Although, that does not mean the votes won't count - because minority will have their say, but majority will have their way. As for why they campaigned there, it boils down to governance, which ought to be segregated from "democratic process". |

valacious: If Buhari wins, then the creek boys, and niger delta militants are coming back to blow up oil installations and fresh agitations begins. If Goodluck wins, boko haram will get stronger because no matter how you depoliticize boko haram, they are still a bit sympathetic to a northern president being in power. So which would you go for- save human lifes or save oil installations and revenue.
