happybrother: Jain set up schools, including one for underprivileged children and the Gandhi Research Foundation in Jalgaon, devoting a chunk of his time to these pet projects. A prolific author, the book closest to his heart was “Tee ani Mee” written in his native Marathi about his life with his late wife. In the company’s 2015 annual repot, Jain outlined his business purpose:My religion, my simple, middle class agrarian background..have ingrained in me values, which guided me by instinct to do good for others and wait for a little while for something good to happen. I have never been disappointed!” When he was flown to Mumbai from Jalgaon for medical treatment, Jain assured his worried family that he would be back soon. The son of the soil was on 27th February cremated, with state honors, in his native Jalgaon . Do you have Jain Irrigation Kit on ground ? |

Akabay: @OP.................... Job weldone God will increase ur knowledge, infact wit ds priceless info but very educative by doing this you are making more youths out there to be more productive nd job creator instead of job seekers .................... For those ppl who ve attended practical training the upcoming farmers would want u to share ur testimony with us to serve as motivation........ Thanx y'all. If you need practical training on vegetable farming, just get down to Ago Amodu with Jethro. You will get the required information/training for you to succeed. Be prepare to make your own nursery and manage it till it is ready for transplanting to the main field. You will personally transplant your nursery plants to the main field and learn how to take care of your plants. You will learn how to handle your plants in the field and manage pests with any other scenarios that come up during the process. You also need to prepare for the physical aspect of the training. We had to wake up early in the morning to get to farm and stay on the farm for long period till late in the evening. Cucumber staking was damn difficult for me, Lord; I developed back pain on the first day of staking from digging. Thank God for local herbs from one of the vendors, worked like magic. We also observed how different irrigation system works, participated in the installation process and decide the best kit for vegetables. Visiting other large farms in the axis with government assisted irrigation system was just tip on the iceberg to observe challenges being faced by farmers. We had many sessions and discussions on market and market strategies that will assist upcoming farmers to avoid costly mistakes. IFDC materials served as reinforcing instruction for practical work that had been completed on the farm and best practices. With this training, you will walk through the whole farm processes and see the big picture with challenges being faced by farmers on a daily basis. You will learn and see for yourself that farming is not easy, require hard work, being smart, patience, dedication and prayer like any white collar job. If you make up your mind to attend the training, don’t forget to visit Aimasiko restaurant in Sepeteri, they have good pounded yam with veg, there is a local joint for cow head/leg, bush rabbit and grass cutter ( can’t remember the name), you can also get good supply of palm wine to knock it down. |

The guy on the floor is not complaining yet some folks are getting worked up.There are too many mysteries in this world that cannot be explained. However, If this is how God want to intervene in his own problem, then so be it. It is the same Bible that Hosea was directed to marry a love-peddler. Put yourself in Hosea,s shoes and truly think if you can obey such directive. . |

freshvine: The should support the Orient Refinery in Anambra to come on stream.
They should support Innoson Motor to improve.
They should revive the Petrochemical plants at Onne.
They should do a Turn around maintenance on the Nations refineries and privatised them.
Hausas, Fulanis and their slaves downtown south has sold Nigeria into the hand of one man.
Is Dangote the only businessman in Nigeria? Dont mind the CBN governor, Is Dangote the only business group in Nigeria? Lending rate by Nigerian Banks is almost 30% pa to SMEs. I simply wonder how they want SMEs that will drive this economy to survive. |

JesusDWay: I've tried and tried to get who can supply Soyabeans in very large quantities of tonnes but no one has been able to perform yet, this is really somehow considering how people come here to say all sorts that they can supply. We got an opportunity from a company to supply and we are yet to deliver as most people who agree price with us will later say they are still looking for money to go buy it while we pay them when they deliver. We've lost money paying someone upfront and have decided until goods are delivered before we pay. We've also gotten Bank Guarantees for people and they ended up not performing while our experience with going to buy it ourselves hasn't been nice as we lost money because the 300bags they sell to us which should weigh 30tonnes just never weigh that much. If there's anyone here who has the capability to supply many tonnes of soyabeans and will collect money on delivery, the person should contact me ASAP - 07062601459 or simonawo@yahoo.com before the company closes the opportunity as they also go to Cotonou to buy I seriously doubt if there is anyone that can deal in large quantities in the SW REGION. Your best bet is in the North! |

mfm04622: You expect the CHIEF of ARMY Staff to yield ground to a mob?!!!!! The whole COAS!!!!! How can he blame soldiers if they run away from battle field? In a sane country, PMB should have summoned the Chief of Army staff, he will have a hard time explaining the killing of innocent Nigerians including babies. There are rule of engagements, you don,t shoot an unarmed citizen, let COAS show us the video that all the 500 innocent lives lost in the saga were armed. How do you justify the use of deadly force on babies and women ? How do you justify the massacre that followed at the residence of the sect leader and the eventual destruction of the place? Proper planning and execution requires the Army to have planned their route, Intel report should have revealed earlier that of the Shiites activities. The COAS should have taken an alternative route. |

ZUBY77: There are some things I would like Nigerians to know. "There is always a reason to beat the maid".
The destruction of Shiite base was not as a result of blocking the road or attempting to Assasinate Buratai, that's bull crap.
However, the Shiite Sect originated from Iran. It was initially a grand conspiracy to fight Jews but they escalated. Elzakzaky was chosen by Iran in the 80s to put their ideologies in Northern Nigeria. This group has been breaking laws, terrorizing even their fellow Muslims for long This group were allegedly behind the assassination attempt on Buhari. Take note. The army was in Zaria to destroy them nonetheless. The road blocking was just an excuse to commence operation.
My take on this is that they needed to be stopped on time. They were likely to get bigger soon and Kaduna is too strategic to be used as a terrorist base in the north. The Army should have handled their operations covertly without them getting involved. This is where espionage and proper planning comes into play. They can even eliminate the Sect Leader without anyone linking it back to the Army. |

Mcbussy: I am not disputing ur claims, but please as "the wise and smart one" give us few examples of how a handful of soldiers would have cleared a path blocked by up to a thousand Islamic mob chanting and yelling "alahu ahkbar"
Many of us just come here to say rubbish with the intent of pushing blame on a specific government we despise. That is the real problem of Nigerians. Only few of us are transparent and unbiased in our reasoning.
When they attacked and killed some members of this same group about a year ago, I didn't feel it was just, but I felt the soldiers were pushed. I didn't blame the soldiers and neither did I blame GEJ for that incident. Why is it that all of a sudden, a similar and more antagonizing event occurs, and suddenly, some clowns come here to put d blame on the army and at dsame time gladly blame GMB?
If they had successfully mobbed and killed the COAS and his crew, these same goons would still come here and shout Buhari dis, Buhari that. Now the army were antagonized and they decided to fight the mob, these same group of e-goats are here talking.
Why must people carry weapons like machetes to confront d Army with all this happening in the nation??...if u think machetes are not weapons, go and read the history of atrocities it was used to carry out in Sierra Leone, Rwanda, etc. Just a few months ago, some rumors were circulating that hundreds of soldiers were killed in one single attack. If u have a family in the military or if u have lost some1 to this Islamic insurgency, I'm sure u wouldn't be saying this trash.
The rules of engagement ur talking about doesn't apply to only gun to gun situations. If u engage me with any weapon that can harm or kill me (machete, cutlass or molotov cocktail), I have a right to hit u with any weapon at my disposal (AK47, RPG ) .... That is the rule of engagement. The Nigerian Army in its crude form, Buratai can simply direct his convoy to take a different route in Zaria to get to his destination. If the Nigerian Army need to deal with the Sect, conduct a covert operation and pick up the Sect leader without linking it to the Army, this will not attract bloodshed and unnecessary global attention. |
Politics › Re: Graphic: Picture Of Bleeding Sheikh Zakzaky With Bullet Wounds And Swollen Face by Willie2015: 6:10pm On Dec 15, 2015 |
GenBuhari: The military has its own laws and rules. They are not the police.
The military are licenced to kill if necessary anybody, that obstructs or attacks them.
This same troublemaker sect leader was also jailed by Abacha, so clearly he must be making trouble.
Had he not been instructing the path and attacked the convoy of the Nigerian military in Nigeria's territory, he would have been left alone.
He attacked the head of the army, who then demanded his arrest, I doubt Buhari ordered his arrest, the Army chief is authorised order his arrest.
That he is pictured battered, bleeding and bruised only testifies to the fact that he chose to resist arrest.
I am fully behind the military on this matter. There can never be any no-go areas for our military inside Nigeria. This is the Nigerian Army in its crude form, the Army Chief should be called to order for causing unrest in Zaria. The military can simply carry out a simple covert operation and pick up the Sect Leader unawares if they need to arrest him without bloodshed and unnecessary global attention. PMB need to be careful, his administration anti corruption crusade is already generating attention among the Ruling Class. All what these Shiites need is a sponsor that can arm them with sophisticated weapons to start another guerrilla war in North West. Even the Nigeria Army will be overwhelmed with Boko Haram fighting in the North East, Shiites fighting in the North West, Biafra unrest in the South East, Tompolo and his militants fighting in the creek. |
