Syahboy, your GRE is fantastic!!! Don't just apply for MS only,try PhD too,you should be able to get a doctoral admission(which comes with many goodies ) if your UG grades are good. Wish you the best bro,you've got foresight.

No. Just one fee. $205 if u want WES ICAP- ur transcripts and evaluation are stored in their system permanently and u can use it at another time(so no need going back to your school for transcript).

imperiouxx: Mine was replied through email. I paid an officer in the exams and records in the admin who monitored everything so that it's fast. He told me everything including the time they received from WES and when the email was sent to WES. Everything correlates because the day he told me they have replied WES was the day my status changed to evaluation is in progress on WES website.

Wow! Hope dey be dat. I'll just ask if they use email and follow it up. I just hope my school is not old fashioned on this one

I believe that an extension letter would make a new I-20 unnecessary.It should cover you for the period of the extension.

Is the verification from the schools done via email/postmail? Is it either/or thing? I see UNN verifies via email which makes it faster,dunno about other schools.Wanna evaluate my transcript speedily and store it once and for all at WES. I don tire for this transcript wahala,my face is becoming too regular at the records office

@lentywilly, is that really a denial? She said to tell your school to write for an extension and you come back for another interview to claim your visa. I think you should contact your school asap and let them know of this development and you can then take it up from there.

Ms Nas: I don't think so. Schools are to reply via paper (School's letterhead). They'll quote the reference number WES sent to them. Some schools might reply via email though, but I haven't heard of such.

Just saw on the Canada FSWP thread that UNN sends verification to WES via email.I wonder why other schools can't do same

Ms Nas: I'll advice anybody sending documents that needs to be delivered urgently to use courier (excluding EMS!).
When I was sending my transcripts and all, I used DHL at first, but when I wanted to send the WES verification, I used EMS..

Send WES verification? I thought the schools reply WES on verification via email. Please shed more light.

I think you should send it separately. The transcript should appear as coming directly from your school. You can send the photocopy of your certificate via Nipost registered mail-it only takes 2weeks. That's my opinion sha. Let those that have used WES before comment on the matter. My school has courier services within the records office, so you just choose which one you wanna use and they'll send it for you.

I wonder how this CGPA conversion thing plays out at WES for Univ of Ibadan graduates .Ibadan uses a 7point CGPA grading system.

Justwise is not perfect but he's doing a good job. It's better we stick to the rules since we can't readily differentiate the good from the bad guys.It prevents NLders from being exploited.

flynbird: During my preparations I read through the 2nd, 3rd and 4th part of this thread up till now. I advice every one preparing to do the same.
On my notepad i copied and saved interview experiences both approvals and delays from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th part of this thread. They were very helpful towards my preparation. I'm not sure if the mods will allow a new thread(read only) so I could post them and others could learn from them.(If neecessary)

That's a great idea! Reading through interview experiences alone gives perspective. You can easily pick scenarios similar to your own situation and learn qiuckly from it. Dunno if dem go allow sha.
