I am not a journalist but years of reading reputable articles from world renowned magazines has made me expect some level of structure in an article.

For example the title of the article chosen by the author himself begs for answers, yet nowhere in the article did he answer it (Title: JB promise to deliver as contracted), any sophisticated reader will expect to find the details of the contract delivery date mentioned.

The article rather gives the impression it is more interested in painting the picture of how the "comported" MD of JB gave a "respectfully but emphatic" response.

Secondly, since there are airports in Owerri and Enugu, once the one in Anambra is completed, we may push for the ones in Owerri and Enugu to be converted to warehouses, so that all the states in the region would use the one in Anambra, since those states are near to each. Thirdly Anambra has the best roads networks, at least in the SE. Finally, Anambra international airport will be Nigeria's busiest airport after Lagos, Abuja and maybe PH.

This is a complete waster of scarce resources, we need to keep improving our urban-rural road networks despite the fact we have a considerable road network. For the record, my hometown is Adazi Nnukwu in Anambra state.

I'm from Anambra but this is a complete waste of money, there isn't much air traffic to the airports in the eastern region except PH airport, why build another one when we aren't experiencing heavy traffic in the other airports like Enugu and Owerri airports.
The money would have better served in rehabilitating and improving rural roads and water projects in the state

Access Bank Zambia Limited announced that it is now in advanced discussions with Cavmont Capital Holdings Zambia Plc. regarding possible merger of Cavmont Bank Limited. The announcement was disclosed by Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) in a corporate disclosure which was duly signed by the Company Secretary, Mr. Sunday Ekwochi.

The disclosure by the bank read, “Access Bank Plc (“Access Bank”) announces today that its wholly-owned subsidiary in Zambia, Access Bank Zambia Limited (“Access Bank Zambia”) has entered into exclusive discussions with Cavmont Holdings Zambia Plc (“Cavmont Capital”) regarding a potential transaction between Access bank Zambia and Cacmont Bank Limited (“Cavmont Bank”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cavmont Capital. The potential transaction relates to the sale of 100% of Cavmont Capital interest in Cavmont Bank to Access Bank Zambia.”



The bank has, however, noted that there are no guarantees as to whether the transaction pans out or not. “There can be no certainty that a transaction will be agreed, nor as to the terms of any such agreement. The completion of a transaction would be subject to formal regulatory approvals. Access Bank will update the market as appropriate and in accordance with its disclosure obligations.” It also advised shareholders accordingly, to exercise caution when dealing in Access Bank’s securities until a full announcement is made.

Nairametrics had reported in October 2019 that Access Bank from the first quarter of 2020, would expand its footprint across Africa. I just used these two cities which are by no means the best we have in the SE. I didn't mention Enugu, Owerri or Onitsha because that will amount to an overkill.

Truly speaking, Lagos really helped you guys to cover a lot of things and without Lagos, SW would most likely be worse than NE. If we have anything like Lagos close to the SE, I bet you we would be far ahead of any region in Nigeria.

This was the major reason Dangote sited his refinery in Lagos and he's gonna build a sub-sea pipeline from the Niger-Delta to his Industrial area.
