I come to the conclusion that Ambode is saner, more compassionate and humane than this Sanwolu. It's very clear this man only interests is to please the burdillion master |
adonainana:Atleast a lot of people profit from sport betting. What profits us in BBN? |
SmartyPants:You are the first person that typed reasonably and truly understands how it works. Please don't bother educating those ignorant folks. For their ignorance is bliss |
Bighead9:The one is Kano is making sense. It looks standard, the one in Aba looks a bit unkempt. But it's all good. |
This is one of modular refineries NCDMB is investing in I suppose |

NaijaRoyalty:The only enemy you are seeing is the imaginary one you created in your mind. Nobody has time to hate any enthic group. You are having paranoia and need serious help. Ngozi has the unwavering support of Nigeria and West Africa at large. So you better make inner peace with yourself. |
Jul 20, 2020 Businesses in Edo State are set for positive growth trajectory as the Federal Government, through the Nigeria Electricity Services Agency (NEMSA), energises the 33KV Transmission line of the Governor Godwin Obaseki-backed CCETC-Ossiomo 55MW Independent Power Plant (IPP) on Monday. According to the state’s Ministry of Energy and Electricity, “the 33KV Transmission line will be energised on Monday, as part of the testing and certification of the CCETC-Ossiomo Independent Power project.” Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Energy and Electricity, Pharmacist Joy Ebhodaghe, in a statement at the weekend in Benin City, said the transmission line would be energised on Monday (today). In the statement entitled ‘NEMSA Testing and Certification of the CCETC-Ossiomo Independent Power Plant and the 33KV Transmission Line’, the energy ministry said: “We wish to bring to the attention of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC), the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) and the general public that, as part of the testing and certification of the CCETC-Ossiomo IPP by the Nigeria Electricity Services Agency (NEMSA), the 33KV Transmission line would be energised from 10.00am-12noon on Monday July 20, 2020. “The announcement serves as notice to all persons and agencies that have activities along the said Sapele Road, Benin City corridor within the stipulated period.” The milestone is the product of Governor Godwin Obaseki’s resolve to fix the energy crisis in the state through the provision of an alternative source of electricity supply to support the state’s industrialisation drive and create a competitive energy market. Recall that the state government announced recently that the 55MW CCTEC-Ossiomo Power Plant was set for a test run to open up the state’s power sector for the benefit of residential and industrial consumers. The CCETC-Ossiomo benefits from a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) entered with the Edo State government, which paves way for the supply of stable electricity to government buildings and public utilities, such as hospitals, offices, street lights, the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium and other such public facilities. Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Communication Strategy, Mr. Crusoe Osagie, said the coming on stream of the power plant would cement the state’s status as a hub for power generation and distribution in the country, as power consumers would now have a flexible regime that guarantees that they buy power from willing sellers. According to him, “The 55MW CCETC-Ossiomo power project is unique and critical. Asides the fact that it is a fulfillment of Governor Godwin Obaseki’s promise to bring in investors into the power sector and improve the sector for optimal performance, the success of the project also provides the state government a good partner in industrialising the state. The power station would power a number of legacy projects in the state, such as the Benin Enterprise and Industrial Park as well as the Utesi Industrial Cluster. LZAA:You've started this your insults towards Yoruba people. What the hell is wrong with you? After you'll start typing yorubas are jealous of igbos exploits. In the other thread, the Yorubas were highlighting topnotch Hollywood actors and actress from their region. They didn't mudslinge any Igbos. Why can't we celebrate our own without having to call the yoruba people? ![]() |
DimIsaac10:That is the ideal kind of family people should have to ensure prosperity. He's not prosperous, he's generous. People in Anambra Civil Service nicknamed him 'aka gum' because he wasn't the type that opened government resources to pilferage. He's one of the most brilliant administrators to work with. |
seankafor:I personally don't have any issues with him other than the fact that he takes government too personal. Personally I like the fact that he appoints more of his people to fill up all the positions at least, southern Nigerians will understand how to use power to favour their own when they get their turn |
selemempe:Guy count me out I don't belong to your delusional IPOB |
Saifulah:You're a billion percent on point. I noticed how the author of the stories openly typed highly of the MD like the The MD was gonna reward him for painting him in the story as a hero. Very wack journalist |
Lately in Anambra state I'm beginning to hear some weird stories emanating from there. What's up Ndi-Anambrs |
somalianprince:It won't make it any viable. Trust me on that!! Even Akwa-ibom with all their resources are yet to complete and have their airstrip accredited, what makes you think we can complete that project and get it accredited?? Complete waste of scarce resources in this pandemic era |
Philipxxxx0:Guy don't be silly. Not because I don't agree with the project doesn't make me any less of an Anambran |
somalianprince:I'm a bona-fide member of Anambra State, just because I didn't type what you wanted to hear doesn't make me any less of an anambrain. What I typed is the honest truth. This is a complete waster of scarce resources, we need to keep improving our urban-rural road networks despite the fact we have a considerable road network. Stop allowing your sentiments to becloud your judgment. For the record, my hometown is Adazi Nnukwu in Anambra state. |
I'm from Anambra but this is a complete waste of money, there isn't much air traffic to the airports in the eastern region except PH airport, why build another one when we aren't experiencing heavy traffic in the other airports like Enugu and Owerri airports. The money would have better served in rehabilitating and improving rural roads and water projects in the state |
Christistruth00:Why did you even reply that dummy? Does he know the engineering strength of JB? That company virtually built all signature projects in Nigeria. Is it Second Niger Bridge that will be a difficult task for them?? When it comes to road construction, give it to that German company, they're the king of civil engineering in Africa.. |
iamfrankoben:You seriously need help. You need to be cross-examined for mental defiency |
OfoIgbo:if you have nothing reasonable to type i suggest you switch off your data and go and read a book. You apear completely irrational if you cannot type without raising enthic sentiments |
OkpaAkuEriEri:You are being stupid by the day. Keep fueling enthic sentiments, Mr. Ejiofor no send you. Idiot. People like you make everyone term igbos 'chestbeaters'. Do you know how Yorubas are making waves in Hollywood Onye nzuzu!!! ![]() |
I first broke the news to nairaland, why's the OP not considering my reports?? |
