Nuttella:Such just a knock can land you in jail for child abuse in the US. What gave her the rights to knock another person's child? |
basilico:You for carry gun and force people out of their house wearing mask to go to polling stations to vote. If you want to vote in person who is stopping you? But what's your problem with those that chose to vote by mail? |
chatinent:False. What's wrong with a fully matured man and a fully matured woman cohabiting before they marry? Do you expect a woman in her 30s or 40s to be living with her parents and then take permission from her parents before she goes to her boyfriend's or fiancee's house? |
Michelle55:Don't mind the "holier than thou" hypocrites that are saying co-habiting is wrong. It's the best thing for a couple intending to marry. I suggest couples intending to marry should cohabit for at least 3 months before tying the knot. You can never know a man or woman if you see each other only in a staged or prepared environment. She can pretend the scheduled moments you interact during courtship only to show her true self once she enters the matrimonial home. Then, the same guys that condemn cohabitation will be the same that would condemn divorce. The guy would never have known the wicked and abusive nature of his fiancee if not for cohabiting before the marriage proper. Cohabiting allows the couple to know each other and how compatible they are sexually, emotionally anx socially before entering a lifetime commitment. |
Maximus69:Prayer the Christian and Muslim way is useless. In fact it is even counterproductive, as the noise, useless mantras and physical exhibitions make the mind and spirit out of sync with the higher energies (frequencies) of the universe. Meditation, contemplation and visualisation are the keys to reaching higher levels of consciousness to achieve whatever you desire from the universe. |
showafrica:Will you marry a babymama? You that is already prepared to condemn sinners and fornication is talking about someone marrying a babymama. For a young woman without strong family support, it would be near impossible to achieve any goals as an abandoned babymama. Forget conscience. Many many young lady's conscience is already dead as far as abortion is concerned. The only conscience is the deed coming out into the open. |
Whiteangel1234:In other words, we must dash igbos the presidency, else the Biafra agitations will take a violent dimension. Are you then insinuating that all Nigerians must vote for an igbo man as president because of the fear of what dimensions the igbos will take, or we should simply dash an Igboman the president without elections out of fear? I thought Biafra was not about the igbos but all the tribes of the former eastern Nigeria. What will then happen to the other tribes when you achieve Biafra? |
Preshy561:Best response so far. |
Testimony1988:She might also not survive child birth given the poor state of our health sector - both public and private. My radionic lost his son last week during his wife's delivery and the wife was lucky to survive. This was after spending N260,000 for C/S. Now, that she has opened her legs for him and has become pregnant, how do you advise she birth and raise the baby if the man rejects the pregnancy, especially if she is not financially capable or stable? |
showafrica:What of if it doesn't work and the guy abandons both baby and baby mama? |
joyandfaith:The way Nigerians worship and revere Jews as a people and Israel as a nation, I have never seen such in history, especially for a people that never colonized or conquered us. Israelis are very good at trade, business and academics, due to their long history of migration around the world, interacting with many advanced cultures and their close knit social and religious structures. But, to claim that Israelis and Israel are the greatest is science and technology is preposterous. |
Mo3891:That's the Nigerian culture. Nigerians would beg you for a loan, and then fight you when it's time to repay. Nigerians generally do not like redeeming loan obligations. |
galaxy2020:How can the entire contract agreement be shrouded in secrecy, when the national assembly was the one that approved the loan in the first place. Did the national assembly mean to tell us that they did not read the loan terms before approving the loan? What do they want to do now since the loan has been taken and the contract is running? Do they want to withdraw their approval for the loan? Going by your use of grammar, do you think you are qualified to challenge the professor? |
joyandfaith: joyandfaith:So these are the Jewish inventions and discoveries that makes them the greatest race on earth and so deserve's worship? Now, do the same Google search for English, French or Dutch inventions and discoveries, then compare and contrast. |
joyandfaith:Oya, name the Jews in Europe and America that Jews in Israel are copying technology from. |
Thatlong9:And afterlife of enjoyment. Some with gold mansions and good music, others with excess food and unlimited sex with virgins. |
1StopRudeness:So what should we blame for our seeming backwardness among all the other races? Those of you that are no longer religious whose minds are now free...Not enough free minds to achieve critical momentum for development. Over 99% of Africans are religious. So, we give far more importance to churches, mosques and shrines than to research institutes, libraries and learning centres. Our people spend far more time praying and worshipping, than researching and learning. please what have you accomplished? What has ur free mind contributed to the development of Nigeria and Africa..... many are doing yahoo and trying to travel abroad...90% of yahoo boys, corrupt politicians and criminals are religious people. I am yet to see a professed atheist being arrested for yahoo yahoo or any other crime. It’s funny how religion is suddenly the problem.. yet there are religious scientist all over the west doing great things..... let’s continue with the blame game jàrè...look how far it has brought us since independenceFunny how you divert the argument from Africa to the west. Western religious scientists are quite different from their African counterparts. Western religious scientists still carry out research and continues asking fundamental questions about the nature of the universe. Western religious scientist still look to scientific solutions to their problems. Africans scientists on the other hand does not feel they need to search for answers to any thing. They use God to fill the gaps. They also proffer spiritual solutions to physical problems. |
Thatlong9:Religion is an manifestation of greed. Religion (especially Islam and christanity preys on the greedy nature of man. It promises material, psychological and spiritual enjoyment in return for total obedience to the God's representatives (either in the form of your foreign conquerors or local oppressors). They promote division instead of unity of purpose which is an essential ingredient to achieving greatness. Is like the biblical tower of babel. How can a people build a tower to the heavens (bridge to greatness ) when we have tens of different languages (tens of religious sects with thousands of denominations )? |
OLAADEGBU:Here is the track record of Dr. Stella Emmanuel; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqG6q41UMmY Stella Immanuel was accused of medical malpractice in a lawsuit after one of her patients died - https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.shreveporttimes.com/amp/5555911002 |
SonofLincoln:Don't mind them trumptards, they are worse than ISIS and Al-Qaeda added together. 10 people burn bible and they demand the lynching of all leftists (as they call everyone that's against trump). But these same hypocrites condemn muslims that blame all Christians and then start killing Christians because 1 or 2 Christians burn a copy of the Koran or draw a cartoon of muhammad. |
Lexusgs430:The reality that you should be asking is; why is that African countries take loans that they cannot pay back? Why take a loan in the first place if you have no means or plans of paying back? Other countries don't default on loans like we do. Now, what do you suggest we do to resolve our HUGE infrastructural deficit? Are you not ashamed that you cannot take a train from Nnewi to Lagos or from Lagos to Ibadan, in the 21st century for that matter. You would have thought my brothers from the south east would be most exited by a functional railway service as they are the highest number of travellers in Nigeria and they move around the highest number of goods, from ports to their manufacturing plants or their warehouses, or from agricultural farms to factories to markets and ports. But alas, they are more interested in "sovereignty" and China taking over the assets. |
snrman:Because Trump represents their innermost suppressed emotions that has been looking for an avenue to come out. Before Trump vile emotions such as hatred, sexism, homophobia, misogyny, racism/tribalism could only hide under religion (christian or Muslim ). But, now Trump is now adding extra impetus to their christian fundamentalists ideals, not minding Trump himself has never claimed to be a born again christian. |
SmartPolician:. Abeg yarn me how Amaechi ceded sovereignty to china? Did china insist on determining our exchange rate, did china insist on opening our ports to all their goods? did china insist the government cancel petroleum subsidy or agricultural subsidy? How did the contract cede Nigeria's sovereignty to china. Mind you i am not exactly defending Amaechi or the Federal Government. I believe all loans must be scrutinized by the National Assembly. My questions is where has the National Assembly been all these while? Their job should not just be collecting Constituency projects and sitting allowances, but should actually perform legislative duties. |
King44:That the problem with moving forward in Nigeria, everything is reduced to APC vs PDP, therefore the merit of the arguments is not even considered. PDP ruled for 16 years without giving us critical infrastructure like power, rail and roads. PDP also borrowed billions of dollars apart from wasting our oil windfall. But all you guys shout about is Buhari or APC has finished us. They even choose to forget that PDP had already signed our sovereignty to a private company - P&ID, that is threatening to seize our assets overseas, without providing any service or loan to us. Reducing evey argument to display hatred for Buhari or APC immediately destroys the merits of the argument. |
veeshock:Can't you list the stringent conditions and the risk of loosing our sovereignty under the loan contract? Any loan taken by governments, private firms or individuals has terms of repayment and penalties in case of default. The problem with Nigerians is that we have this mindset of collecting loans without plans for repayment. That's why I don't give loans anymore to anyone, even with a valid loan agreement. Once you give loan, it's bye bye to your money. You can try that abroad. Then you talk about sovereignty. Which loan conditions impinge on our sovereignty more, Chinese loan or IMF loan conditions? IMF loan conditions dictate to governments how they should run their countries. They insist you open your ports, devalue your currency and abolish all subsidies. The Chinese are only after their money back. How do you hope to manufacture and distribute any product including petroleum products without a fast efficient railway system? You think we can develop our economy by depending on dilapidated roads and trailers and trucks? When the British came to Nigeria, the first if not the only infrastructure they build was the railway. And, it is this railway system we have been using for over 100 years. Do you know how much loan we have taken in the past to fix the refineries and the power sector? The money spent on these sectors over the last 20 years would build 3 modern railway lines with modern trains and stations all over Nigeria? But, till today, no refinery is working and we generate only 5,000Mw of electricity. In the present situation where our earning is not even enough to run the governments, how do you suggest we build critical infrastructure? |
nedekid:You mean to tell me a rail network in a country of 200 million people is not commercially viable? In that case road transportation is not also viable. A these young shall grow, chisco and all must be making huge loss. What about air transportation, they too must not be commercially viable. |
sweetjohn:Who NLNG help? E be like say you dey chop NLNG money. The same NLNG that was accused of not remitting money into the federation account for years. Abeg dash the Chinese NLNG for a railway system that can get me from Lagos to Abuja or Portharcourt under 6 hours. NEITI: How NNPC failed to remit $16.8 billion into Federation Account - https://www.today.ng/business/energy/neiti-nnpc-failed-remit-16-8-billion-federation-account-99233/amp |
veeshock:Yes, we will die without a so called rail system. Have you seen any country with a population of more than 50 million without a functional railway system? Do you know how many people die in our roads everyday? Are you away that we can never graduate from a developing nation to a developed one without a functional railway system? |
sweetjohn:Abeg explain the Sovereignty part. Will there be a Chinese man in Aso Rock or any of the government houses? |
Ologbojo2023:Since your are non sentimental and you enjoy from the oil and gas revenue of Nigeria, how do you propose we build our railway system so that ordinary people like us can enjoy rail services? Not everyone can afford to fly from Lagos to Abuja to do business. |
isthatso: |
omoyankee3:You have too high expectations from the west. Before the west forgive your loans, you would have paid the loan amount times 10. How much did Nigeria loan from the Paris club? How much was paid before the loan was partially forgiven? |
