abogjohn: this is it sir Your screenshot destroyed your own argument. It says "it is illegal for any individual to accept or make cash payments that exceed N5,000,000" and that cash over 5 million must be done through financial institution. Now tell me, do you have evidence that Tinubu paid or receive from any individual a sum exceeding N5million? Are you insinuating that the bullion van that supplied the cash was not from any financial institution? |

Two for that matter ? Was 500k in each of them or what ?? Even if it 1m? We need to know his financial source, after all, he claims he doesn't work for government nor collected contract. So what has he been doing to accumulate amounts only bullion vans can deliver?
If it is money of which we know it is, where did he get from? Which bank?? What's in that bank?? How did he get that value? We need to check the entire Blockchain . These are journalistic questions and not legal ones. |

His Jefferson case is still pending, it has not been resolved. We as Nigerians do not need Obasanjo or the US to tell us who is corrupt or not. Going by your logic, Abacha was not corrupt as alleged by Buhari. Even Obasanjo we all know is no saint. If Tinubu is not corrupt, please can you outline his businesses before 1999. If only we can look at this from the angle that you want the best for this country and not through party or ethnic affiliations, you will see that these politicians have looted this country dry. In a typical Nigerian fashion, nothing will come out of this case because Tinubu is one of the few untouchables in this country. I weep for Nigeria because the future looks bleak with all these politicians still at the helm of affairs. You are just ranting emotionally. Everyone might be a crook, but the actual crook is the one caught. Abacha is dead, so he cannot be prosecuted. In 2002, mohammed Abacha was acquitted and released by President Olusegun Obasanjo. In all your rants you have failed to state the laws Tinubu as broken. |

Rumxy: I don't support any political party in Nigeria but the greatest hypocrisy I have seen here on nairaland is WHEN YOU ACCUSE ATIKU OF BEING CORRUPT BUT YET CALL TINUBU A SAINT.
If those of you supporting this act of corruption can be honest to yourselves, in a saner clime where nobody is above the law, EFCC would have have investigated this issue a long time ago. The timing was even wrong, on the eve of a national election, what will you be doing with 2 bullion vans in your house? Bullion vans are meant to carry cash and sensitive materials.
The video clip he said that it was his money and its nobody's business has confirmed the vans were carrying money. This bullion van bruhaha was a bad move for Tinubu no matter the outcome of the case. People say Atiku is corrupt because he still has a pending case in the US and his former boss, president Obasanjo told us he is very corrupt in his book. So on what basis do you call Tinubu corrupt? |

I have never see a more hollow or empty petition in my life. In all the petition no crime was alleged. No section of any of our laws that has been breached was quoted. You don't need EFCC to answer the questions posed; 1. The Bullying van was delivering cash to Tinubu's house. There is no law criminalising delivery of money to personal properties using bullion van. 2. Most likely Tinubu and/or his wife owned content of the bullion van.
3. First Tinubu was a former governor collecting millions in pension on allowances monthly, then he own alpha beta, a company that earns 5% of Lagos taxes monthly, and numerous other companies, apart from numerous hotels. Two bullion vans is not beyond the capacity of Tinubu.
4. Still No law criminalising the storage of cash in personal property, home or office. What the laws states is that transaction over a certain limit must be reported, N500,000 for individuals accounts and 5 million for corporate accounts.
Before a law can be broken, such laws must exist in out statute books. What law exactly has Tinubu broken as per the bullion van episode. |

She ought to have known that you acted out of anger by asking her to go back to where she is coming from. If my husband was to act the way you did, I would just tell him this is my house too and enter the house, no need for too much drama. He definitely wont raise his hands on me or drag me out, so except you got violent with her I do not see why she should take your word for it and leave when you asked her to. Finally, her people ought to have listened to your own side of the story and try to resolve it rather than acting like they have been waiting for the marriage to pack up. As for what to do? January is a long time, You should reach out to her and see how she responds. She may be missing you as well. You can win her over again and then both of your meet her family to let them know you have reconciled. Unless you are the actual khaleesi (Daenerys Targaryen ), you cannot get away with such effrontery. How can a married woman stroll out of her house without the Husbands knowledge, and stroll in at 11:00 pm without any explanation, and don't expect the husband to get angry? Since she has been away from her matrimonial home for close to 10 months, it means she does not care for the marriage. The guy should just move one and find a woman who would respect him. What exactly do you want him to do to win her back? Apologize for getting angry for coming in at 10pm without explanation. Maybe he can promise to allow her sleep out and come the next morning. The impeachment inquiries is being held by three committees of the house, namely the House Oversight, Foreign Affairs and Intelligence Committees. There are 47 Republican members of those commitees who have access to the hearings. Non of the republican members of those committees have come out to alleged that they were barred from attending committee meetings. What the Republicans want is public hearing, it will get to that. Besides, there hearings are following the rules laid down by a Republican dominated house. These rules were used during Bill Clinton's impeachment and during Hillary Clinton's Benghazi hearings. You guys are just scared and are in panic mode. The full impeachment debate will be heard by the full house, where all evidence will be presented and votes will be taken. The actual trial will be at the Senate, where Trump will have to defend himself against all impeachment allegations. If Trump is actually innocent, the impeachment saga should actually exonerate him and boost his reelection. |

chrismymen: Story story. My brother you are not alone
I got married late 2018, I could not live with my wife for even 90days Our problem start few weeks after weddings, we cant argee on any thing together as husband and wife, I also discovered that most of the things my wife told me about her where lies . Can you image lying with pregnancy, Age, Educational qualifications.( On my mind I done enter 1 chance.) We start counselling 201 because the once we did before wedding was not enough. I wanted to make it clear to my wife that lying to me will destroy trust between us which can damage the relationship. We are in marriage already let us find a ways to make peace and live happily together.
Early this year 2019 Jenuary we had a argument which I did not handle maturely, that was the last time I saw my wife. What was the arugment about? I came back from work met her at home early. So I step out to a close friend who live around our house to watch football. When I came back to the house about 9:00 pm, our door was locked, I nocked the door perhaps she has slept off. I discovered she was not at home. I called many times but there was no answer. After about an hour, I sent her a text message that I was out side because I did not go out with my keys. When I called again she answered and said she is coming. 11:pm I was still out side waiting, I became very anger When she finally came it was 11.05 pm Out of anger I collected the keys from her and ask her to go back to where she was coming from.
That was the last time I saw my wife The family came two weeks later with her to pack her things. That if I want my wife back, I should come and re-marry her again. I am 34yr my wife should be 29-31yrs. Since Jenuary 2019 till now we are not together. What should I do. You wife told you lies about everything before you married, went out and came back by 11 pm without your permission and her family came to your house and packed her load out, and you are asking what should you do? You have not yet a attained manhood, ask Dpharisee what has earned a manhood certificate to disciple you. Women hate sissies, the want real man as husband. You that should go and do Thanksgiving for escaping one chance is asking "what should I do"? |

Dpharisee: I did the same thing, called her family that I was sending her back. They called her and I gave them my condition for continuing with the marriage and the consequences of violating the terms of the agreement, now she control her emotions better. I even went to court to start divorce proceedings but stopped midway. I was like a sissy in the marriage for long until I woke up one day and decided to take full control of my house.
Her family were shocked by my sudden change, she attacked me and I gave her serious 'controlled' beating, by controlled beating I mean she pushed me to the wall but physically I was very angry and vibrating but in my heart I was loving her but had to show her my strength as a man and to let her understand how it felt inflicting harm on our maids. Never beat a woman, but if it's the last option only do it when you are not reacting in anger but pretending to be angry. She tried to blackmail me into apologizing but I never did, for sometime now she has been abiding by the tenets of the agreement and I try to encourage her, watch her mood changes and how to keep it in check, it has not been easy but it's better now. Congratulation. I now certify you officially a man Oya collect your certificate.

Perhaps you need to read more about this story. Here is the full story; NEWSCommunities demand N10bn compensation on 2nd Niger Bridge
Fashola, yesterday, revealed that communities along the 2nd Niger Bridge are demanding N10 billion in compensation.
Fashola said the demand for compensation is frustrating the Federal Government’s efforts to complete the project.
He said: “People who want infrastructure must also reasonably be willing to sacrifice. The amount we are facing now in claims in compensation for Second Niger Bridge is already in excess of N10 billion, just for compensation for land and all of that.
“As we speak, some people are asking us to pay N10 billion now as compensation for the 2nd Niger bridge.” https://www.newtelegraphng.com/2019/09/communities-demand-n10bn-compensation-on-2nd-niger-bridge/ |
