Nickisindigo:It's more complex than that. It depends on the agreements and relationship between the photographer and Kim kardashian. Any other photographer without permission from Kim cannot take a photo of Kim and claim to own the rights. I had a neighbour who had a very beautiful daughter. The daughter was used for banner adverts that was pasted all over Ikorodu, without the permission of the parents. The mother stormed the school threatening to sue. Omo after consulting the school lawyer, see begging. Eventually, the school agreed to waive the next session's school fees as compensation. It seems most Nigerians don't know their rights. |
Nickisindigo:If it was in the US that your pictures was used for advertising or campaign without your permission, you will be millionaire. |
brainworkng:False. You image is your copyright. No one can use it without your permission, else corporate sponsors would not be paying BBNAIJA contestants millions just to use their posters and pictures. |
maryjames9: helinues:In a sane country you cannot use the image of a person without their express permission. That's an infringement on their rights and sometimes a crime. In Nigeria we have a big man syndrome, that allows the elite to exploit the poor, with fellow poor and helpless masses cheering on. |
Anduku:With the hundreds of crimes commited by Trump including lying to Muller, it is this one you can latch on. Trump's hold on you guys is uncanny, it's magical or even jujucal. Anyone that says anything against trump or that he does not like is attacked. For your information, whistleblowers are protected by law. So he is legally not allowed to supply the name of the whistleblower, assuming he even admits he knows the whistleblower. |
EMILO2STAY:Face palm. I am ashamed on your behalf. What you stated above is newtonian mechanics, more like the third law of motion, which states action and reaction are always equal and opposite. It nothing to do at all with Einstein's laws of relativity. I have never heard such rubbish as this in my whole life; " Einstein theory of relativity provides that motion is relative to the observer". The very basis of special relativity is that the speed of light within a vacuum is the same no matter the speed of the observer. I am tired of discussing stupid jibberish. It's like arguing with a 6 year old child. Signing off. |
Anduku:Cult worshipper, this impeachment is not about pence, it is about Trump. No one is accusing pence of witholding aid to investigate his political opponents or colluding with Trump. Vindman and Williams are called only to testify on what they know and not to give their opinion. Even if they offer their opinion, it will be irrelevant. It is only the opinion of the house members that matter for now. |
Anduku:Trump worshipper, the whole impeachment inquiry is not about the call. It's about Trump's blackmail and quid pro quo of President Zelensky to investigate (look for dirt) on the Joe Biden. It is alleged to have been happening before and after the call. Many concerned public officers had reported the irregularities to white house council, even before the whistleblower came out with his allegations. |
EMILO2STAY:More display of ignorance. Einstein propounded 2 theories of relativity. Law of special relativity was the first which dealt with the speed of light and eventually lead to the famous equation E=MC2 The second theory was the law of General relativity. This dealt with Gravity and its relation to other forces of nature. Educate me on the laws of relativity when you have absolutely no idea of what they entail. Did you even do physics in your Senior secondary school? because the way you yap nonsense, it seems you have never opened a physics textbook in your life. |
OpenYourEyes1:That's the laziness of ignorant but arrogant religionists. They don't perform any experiment, but wait for scientists to spend billions to prove their theories, and then look for the stupidest excuse to disregard the whole experiment. What's so difficult for flat earthers to build a vacuum chamber, and then throw down a lead ball and a feather together and prove that the lead ball will fall faster than the feather. He is here making the absurd collusion that because this experiment was shown in slow motion, therefore it is wrong. This is a fall of a few seconds. If the fall was shown in real time, he would still say, he could not see it because it is too fast, and then demand it should be shown in slow motion. This dropping of objects in a vacuum had been done many of times, and the results had always been the same. See this experiment of trying to fly a drone in a vacuum. The drone cannot fly in a vacuum because air is needed by the propellers to oppose gravity. Same thing like air is needed by the falling feathers to oppose gravity and therefore fall slowly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8-pxkaipcg |
EMILO2STAY:You are so ignorant, and yet don't acknowledge it. I really feel sorry for you guys. You live in a cocoon of ignorance. Newtons definition of gravity had been overtaken by Einstein definition in his law of general relativity over 100 years ago, and you are not even aware. Einstein explained exactly what gravity is in his law of general relativity and numerous observations and experiments since then had proved him right. |
kkins25:Yes in the strictest sense, gravity is not exactly a force pulling on objects. It's a dent in the space-time continuum. The more massive objects produces bigger dents, making less massive objects move or roll towards the more massive ones. People are still stuck to newton's idea of gravity being a force between to objects. |
![]() OpenYourEyes1:All the video showed is that gravity is independent of mass, assuming all other factors constant. All objects on earth fall at the rate of 9.81m/s irrespective of size or mass. It's the air resistance that oppose gravity that made the feathers fall shower outside a vacuum. |
OpenYourEyes1:Good points, where? Please show me the good points. He have absolutely no idea of what he is talking about. |
Emusan:It has to do with the velocity of the object falling due to gravity. If the object is projected beyond the Earth's escape velocity in a direction opposite that of gravity, then it will escape the Earth's direct pull and gravity will make it orbit instead at a distance in proportion to the velocity. If the plane travels faster than 11km/s, it will escape the earth. If the engine is then switched off, it will continue to orbit the earth perpetually. Check the diagram below for better explanation. If Vo is more than 11.2km/s the projectile will enter into orbit instead of falling to the ground. It is still earth's gravity that will keep it in earth's orbit. And I asked a question which you stylishly boycotted the other time,The butterfly wings offers air resistance against gravity. The force of the air from the radiator fan sucking the flies, is greater than gravity of the earth. Remember, the flies have wings and low mass, that helps counteracts the effect of gravity. If you substitute the flies with the same volume of lead, the fan will not be able to suck it.

EMILO2STAY:Senseless questions. |
Imagine, sesame did many parodies of Donald Trump in the 80's and 90's, before he even thought of going into politics. They were 100% spot on about his character of greed, sleaze and scam. It's like the writers of sesame street saw the future. Have a good laugh https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_r6iojNnYg |
Emusan:The plane that has lost its engine has nothing to exert an equal and opposite force, so it's in a free fall (weightless) until it hits the ground. Why must the plane fall to the ground? The plane falls to the ground because force of gravity is pulling the plane downwards with an acceleration of 9.81m/s/s. Floating is not the same thing as weightlessness. The plane is free falling, but objects in the plane falling at the same rate with the plane will seem to float in reference to the plane. The fall was it not floating around the earth like moon does or falling to earth surface? Which one....The moon too is free falling on the earth, that's why it is orbiting the earth. The same thing as satellites above the Earth's surface. Someone is floating around in a chamber, isn't gravity supposed to pull her to earth's surface? As I said, the person falling in a falling plane's chamber is falling with the plane according to gravity from the reference plane of an observer outside the plane, but from the reference frame of the plane, the person is stationary (or floating ) The moment I jump off a cliff, were my legs on ground? Yet gravity pulled me to earth's surface. You legs leave the ground the moment you jump of a cliff and free fall to the earth. |
Ola17:My brother, it's not him specifically I am pouring water on, it's the young impressionable boy or young man, who might be led astray by their stupid anti science doctrines. |
Emusan:You are so ignorant and confused that I don't know where to start educating you. It's amazing that in this era of information age, some people choose to remain ignorant. Gravity is a force that manifest in acceleration, which means per second increase in velocity. The earth pulls all objects to it with an acceleration of 9.81 per second per second. It means you speed will increase by 9.81m per second, every second. Now, when you are standing on the ground, you stand still because the ground exerts an equal and opposite force. In space there is no ground to exert an equal and opposite force so you fall perpetually (free fall). Study this video, maybe you will begin to have an idea of what gravity is, instead of talking jibberish. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FO_Ox_dH0M8 |
coluka:Most likely the names were submitted by a campaign staff. You can't expect Buttigieg to know and interact with all 400 names on the list. Unlike Trump who once you have problems with the law or testify against him, he doesn't know you. He hardly knows Gordon Sondland, but speaks to him on the phone often, he doesn't know Alexander Vindman, he doesn't know Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman. Has there ever been a worse liar in public office in American history as Donald Trump? Anytime he opens his mouth lies comes out. |
EMILO2STAY:Having read your previous threads, I see you are a crank case, trying to literally interprete the bible to fit into pre middle age Christian beliefs. Even most modern Christian don't believe the crap you wrote up there. Even the Catholic Church had apologised to Galilei Galileo after close to 400 years for persecuting him for his heliocentric views. The first person to calculate accurately the Circumference and the tilt angle of the earth was Eratosthenes of Cyrene in 240 BC. He used 2 poles placed at Syene and Alexandria at noon and measured the difference in the angle of their shadows. I don't know the jibberish you are writing about sundial not bending if the earth is spinning. |
Emusan:Please explain how one can circumnavigate a flat surface. When you circumnavigate to go in a straight line until you arrive at your point of departure. This is a pure lie....Is that so? I asked is this CGI conspiracy being perpetuated by all governments on earth, all universities and all scientists? Besides, you did not answer the question on how you can watch a live program from 6,000 miles away. The reason you still believe in spherical earth is because you refuse to apply common sense. What are you yapping about? What do you mean by without GRAVITY? Are you now saying your flat earth hypothesis operates without gravity? Who told you no gravity in space? Space itself is the creator of gravity. Gravity permeates space and time. Should there have been anything like WEIGHTLESSNESS at all, if gravity cut across the solar systemPlease grab an elementary physic or even geography text book, so you can understand some basic terms. Weightlessness simply means you cannot feel your weight. You become weightless if you fall down from a plane or even a lift. A better term is free fall. |
EMILO2STAY:GGI by who? All the countries of the world? Even Nigeria is supposed to have a satellite in space taking pictures. So you are saying NASA, European space agency, Russian Space agency, Indian, Chinese, all other country's space agencies got together to create a CGI image of the earth to deceive everyone? When did CGI technology even start? We have been seeing pictures of the earth since the early 60s. If we don't live in a spinning ball, how do you then explain sunrise and sunset? Weather patterns such as hurricanes and ocean current patterns? Are you saying we should discard latitude and longitude means of location? So what exactly is the physics of your flat earth? Does it have ends? Do new sun's rise every morning and set every night? Why is the moon, the sun and all other celestial objects round and only the earth flat. Are you insinuating that megallan also used CGI when he said he went round the world? |
Emusan:Flat earth in the 21st century? After Megallan had circumnavigated the earth more than 500 years ago, satellites are beaming radio signals from the other side of the globe allowing you see pictures in real time, and millions of pictures of earth from probes sent from earth. I still can't believe any one that has gotten past primary school still believes the earth is flat. |
Imagine such rubbish. Instead of Nigerian foremost university to be having conferences to be destroying ignorance, they are having conferences to be destroying witchcraft. If university in Nigeria are saddled with destroying witchcraft, what then is the work of thousands of our churches, mosques and shrines? And you wonder why our graduates can't compete with their Asian and European counterparts. |
LegendHero:I strongly disagree that the north can defeat an alliance between the east and west. Harmony between the east and west will also bring in the south south and the Middle belt. One major problem with the east is that they have voter apathy. Their voting numbers are always very poor. In the north east and North West, the voter participation is very high, many northerners travel from from places they live just to vote. You will see kilometres long queues during elections. If the west and East form a harmonious political alliance, the Niger delta and middle belt, especially Benue, kwara and kogi will follow them. It will make things very difficult for North west and North East. |
gwafaeziokwu:The igbos were never and can never be out of the picture. The Hausa Fulanis need either the igbos or the Yorubas to hold unto power in Nigeria. Prior to 2015, the igbos had always aligned with the Hausa Fulanis to sideline the Yorubas. 2015 was the very first time Yorubas allied with the Hausa Fulanis in the history of Nigeria, and the igbos have since been angry about it. The only way to break the stranglehold of the Hausa fulanis on Nigerian political power is for the igbos and yorubas to form an alliance. That's seems a very long shot. Non of them will step down for each other, each would rather step down for the Hausa fulani instead. |
Kanade21:Yes the elections were not rigged significantly, but there were instances of voter suppression and gerrymandering by the Republicans and some irregular voting by the Democrats. Yes, the Russians, in collusion with someone from Trump's office most likely leaked the Democrat emails exposing the party's perfidy....but the problem is, it is very difficult to quantify how much effect they had on the election, if any.Not exactly, Trump went on national TV and asked Russia to find (hack) Hillary's emails. If ordinary citizens do that, they would be questioned by the FBI The leaks did have profound effect on Hillary's votes. Many Democrats simply refused to turn up on election day, because of the email scandal. Remember Comey brought up the issue again a week to actual voting. Especially as there were other factors.Agreed, she could have ran a more effective campaign 2.Job losses are a big issue in many battleground states. Trump at least, even though he was lying, talked about bringing back jobs. Hilary meanwhile was telling coal miners in Iowa that they should be ready to lose their jobs, to change. (And Iowa was a battle ground area...).Yes job losses are a big issue in the rural and industrial areas. The problem is not necessarily immigrants taking their jobs, it's the US educational system that is lacking behind in modern skills and technology. Most US technology and innovation is being driven by skilled foreign immigrants. Silicon Valley is being driven by immigrants. The US needs to overhaul their educational system to catch up with China and other Asian countries. Coal jobs were are job of the 19th and 20th centuries. It has no place in the 21st century. Even oil (fossil fuels) jobs will be obsolete by the 22nd century. 3.Plus, Hilary did win more votes than Trump. The problem was, in the convolouted system that America runs, it's electoral college votes that matter, not simple majoritesAgreed 4.Hilary is the husband of Bill. The Bill who, you know, signed something called NAFTA back in the 90's...that accelerated job losses in many battleground states. Many people have not forgiven or forgotten. As I said, the US need to retrain it's citizens for jobs of the 21st century. 5.A lot of people who turned out for Obama did not turn out for Hilary at all.As I sad many Democrats simply refused to turn up on election day. |
blesskewe:Nigerians and Africans never take responsibility for their crimes and failings, they look for excuses or someone else to blame, no matter how ridiculous it sounds. Which one is Spirit of succubus and incubus again? ![]() |
netpro:Decades is an understatement, centuries is more apt. Trump has completely destroyed US foreign image and influence. Russia and China is becoming more influential in world affairs every day. No one trusts the US anymore. Trump's foreign policy is as nebulous as it is crazy. It is being run by Trump, his daughter and his son in law. The state department is being hollowed out of well seasoned career diplomats and replaced by novice political appointees. |
Derrinclay:absolute rubbish. Kenyan population growth declined from 2.9% to 2.2% over a 10 year period and this lady is screaming crisis. Kenyan population is put at close to 48 million and she is raising unnecessary alarm. Maybe they should import some Hausa Fulanis from Nigeria so their population should increase to 100million over 5 years. The reason for this slight decrease is not far fetch. Most women are moving to the cities, getting an education and pursuing a career. They are no longer in the villages making babies like rats. Educated women hardly have more than 3 children. If the women were actually being sterilized though mass vaccination as pushed by the conspiracy theory, then the birth rate would reduce drastically to close to 1%. Another mystery is that since the vaccinations were being given to both sex of babies and children without discrimination, how come it is affecting the fertility of the women? What happens to male babies taking the same vaccination? |
