After Buhari and Fashola, the next most influential member of APC is Amaechi. Ngige is another prominent Igbo son in APC who cannot be overlooked. Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu Ode (TASUED) used be College of Education of Education (COE) Ijebu Ode. The highest certificate it awarded as COE was National Certificate of Education (NCE).

As of today, TASUED is a degree awarding institution. It also has Postgraduate School. It presently awards BA, B.Ed, BSc and M.Ed in such diverse fields as Business Education, Educational and Media Technology, History & Diplomatic Studies, Human Kinetics, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.

Would it be acceptable for someone who earned NCE in Mathematics when the school was non-degree awarding College of Education to now claim that his NCE is equivalent or equal to M.Ed in Mathematics?

Ok, I concede that you are right, the degree awarding college would be more academically rigourous than when it was awarding a diploma. Having said that, it does not render the diploma worthless. The same diploma Buhari was awarded was what was awarded to US colonels that took the same program at the time.

I am saying that an illiterate (as suggested by you) could not obtain a diploma from United State War college. Just because General Buhari has a speech impediment (probably due so some missing dentition) and has difficulty in pronouncing F and a few letters does not make him an illiterate. I dont know about the calling obasanjo a tout issue, but to me the biggest mistake Jonathan did was losing Amaechi. Amaechi would have been the bridge between the SS and SE, he was the most experience politician of the governors, he is bold and stubborn. He even fought with OBJ and won. But the president instead decided to trust Akpabio and Wike. If Amaechi was still with Jonathan, things would have been pretty difficult for APC. One Amaechi equals ten Akpabios and Wike added together.

Buhari saw the importance of Amaechi, that was why he quickly appointed him the director of his campaign organization.

If you check my comments when the feud started, i did not believe Jonathan would let Amaechi go. IBB is very right in this regard.

You guys are too young to even begin to discuss with. Up till the 90's secondary school students get admitted to higher institutions and NDA with awaiting results. Because results were usually released late by WAEC (sometimes in november) and higher institutions resume academic session september or october. Student were given temporary admission based on awaiting results and testimonials (letter of recommendation) from the secondary school. It was after WAEC releases the results that it is submitted to the higher institutions to make the admission permanent. Those who fail had their temporary admission terminated.

What the Oyinbo principal of Buhari School wrote was a testimonial to assert the intellectual and moral integrity of its students seeking to gain admission into higher institutions. I am sure that it was not only Buhari that got the letter, but all students seeking to gain admission into higher institutions.

I hope you guys are better educated now.

As an apostle of change and a selfless promoter of the Amiable General Muhammadu Buhari, one of the attributes that attracted me to the General is his calm, sincerity and constistency.

When the issue of the certificate first came up about a month ago, I had expected the APC campaign team to officially write the Army Headquarters requesting the return of Muhammadu Buhari's Credentials that was allegedly ransacked by the IBB regime in 1985 along with his properties. I also expected the APC Presidential Campaign Team to write the United States Army War College, Buhari's Secondary School, WAEC Office and other instutitions that Muhammadu Buhari attended to request for a copy or Certified True Copy of the rspective certificates that they awarded the Daura-born General. Doing so would have laid the matter to rest and save the embarrassment that the General is being subjected to.

It is not too late for the APC to consider these options, if not for anything but to protect the integrity of Muhammadu Buhari. I for one stll have faith in the integrity and sincerity of the General and except proven otherwise, I will continue to stand by the General. The APC must play their own part.

I appeal to our brothers in the Jonathan camp to take it easy with the General and not rush to cast aspersion on his person. I also urge supporters of the General to continue to keep faith in him and be optimistic that the General will triumph at the end of the day. Our task to re-build Nigeria must not weary, whether we support APC/PDP or Buhari/GEJ, we must put Nigeria first.

Believe me when i say that the Buhari Team handled this certificate saga beautifully, it gave Buhari the free publicity money cannot buy. It kept PDP/TAN busy and diverted them from other attacks. If you carried out a poll of Buhari's popularity before and after the certificate saga, you will find that he is much more popular now.

PDP campaign strategy is to attack the personality and integrity of APC's presidential candidiate ( Since they have nothing on Oshibanjo, they focus all their energies on Buhari), so if the certificate saga had not been prolonged that much, they would have looked for other lies to to attack the General. Do you even think if Buhari had even presented certified copies of his certificates, the PDP would have stopped the attacks, hell no! Even today that the school had provided a statement of results and the American War college confirmed that Buhari did obtain a diploma from them, are the PDP/TAN satisfied?

How can a sane person imply that a person who join the army, when the British were still in charge of our schools and the army, trained by the British in their military academy and obtained diplomas from the best military institutions in the world would not possses a secondary school certificate. This is a person that got very good recommendations from every institution he attended.

Anyway, we are now expecting the next wave of attacks on the people general as we move closer to the elections.

Your assertion is not correct. An officer can become a commissioned officer without an SSCE result. There are many commisioned officers, who got admitted into the military as a non commissioned officer but got commissioned after many years of service and undergoing courses.

Please provide proof that Jonathan has a WAEC, Bsc and a Masters degree. We would not mind a statement of result from his alma mater detailing the grade he got in WAEC. We would not also mind only his Bsc or Msc thesis.

I am yet to be convinced Jonathan actually obtained his Bsc and Msc on merit.

Relying these people is a waste of bandwidth. So please stop giving attention to these illiterates who cant read nor comprehend.

Imagine someone saying statement of result can be forged, but WAEC certificate or even a university certificate cannot.

A standard 6 certificate of of 1961 is equivalent of a PHD today. A lot of PHD holders today cannot string a correct english sentence together including president Jonathan.
