Most of you ignorant folks associate cracking with hacking. Hacking is part of computer security. The legality of hacking depends on intent of the hacker.

found that the building did not have the signpost, banner or
flag of any company or political party.
“In the course of investigation, the following discoveries
were made:

a temporary voter card, a permanent voter card;

How is this a criminal offense? Is the 1 (one) temporary voter card and 1(one) permanent voter card fake?

“That one of the hard drives recovered from the building
contained a video of twenty-one (21) hacking tutorials. The
tutorial video focused on the following areas:
“How to become a hacker and steps to take to avoid
detection in the process of hacking web servers;
“Steps and procedures of system hacking, passwords
cracking, decrypting, escalating access privileges, and
creating backdoors to servers.
“It also explicitly explained how to evade security of
databases such as Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS),
firewalls, and other measures put in place to deter hackers;
“The video outlined ways to identify vulnerabilities in
systems and how to surreptitiously drop a USB flash drive
in a target establishment, which when plugged into any
computer, transmits malicious codes enough to gain access
into and compromise the entire system of the target
organisation; and
“Finally, the video explains how to hack into the systems of
media houses, with the aim of broadcasting fake stories or
headlines.

How is this a criminal offence? Hacking is part of online security, there is black hacking (hacking with intend for criminal intent) and white hacking (hacking with intent to test and analyse security systems). I have loads of hacking tutorials on my system, does it mean i have commited an offence?

“It was also discovered that the APC registered under-aged
persons including several infants and babies as members of
the party. We know that Article 9.1 of the APC party
constitution expressly says: ‘membership of the party shall
be open to any citizen of Nigeria who has attained the age
of eighteen (18) years and accepts the aims and objectives
of the Party.”

Is this a federal offense? Are the under aged registered with INEC?

“Similarly, the APC registered several security personnel
from the Nigeria Army (NA), the Nigeria Police Force (NPF),
Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Nigerian Security and Civil
Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC)
among others, in their uniforms as members of the party.

Is this also a criminal offense? Are these people not entitled to be members of a political party? Who is commiting the offense - the political party or the security personels that registered with a political party?

“Furthermore the APC had multiple registrations of
individuals in multiples of 16, 12, and 10;
“Several foreigners were also registered as its members;
“Also, the APC filled forms without passport photographs,
and have books containing names of people with their
phone numbers.

Is this a federal offense? APC can register apes as long as they are concerned, as long as the ape does not show up to register on election day. How did the know they were foreigners?

“Equally discovered were several envelopes containing
passport photographs of various individuals.”

And so what?

The service said from its investigations it suspected that
there was an elaborate and well articulated plan by the APC
to inflate the party’s membership data as well as hack into
INEC’s voter registration database through the creation of
party membership forms and cards to match INEC’s voter
register across the country.
Concluding it added: “facts are sacred and opinion free. The
arrested suspects have since been charged to Court, and at
the moment investigation is still ongoing. We shall update
the public of further developments. “

Please avail us of the charge sheet, so we can actually know the people that have been charge and what offense? The DSS said articulated plan by APC to hack into INECs data base, not actual hacking into the database. How are they going to prove a plan that had not actually be actualized and then convince the judge that a crime had already been commited.

DSS is a joke! No wonder Boko Haram can infiltrate the army, the government and even DSS without DSS being aware.

But after the October 1st 2010 bombing in Abuja, the president came out publicly to announce that MEND was not responsible (even though MEND claimed responsibility), and that he know those responsibile (immediately afterwards, Dopesi and IBB were implicated). He even said he knows MEND and that they are his people.

It smacks of political naivity to compare Fashola to Buhari in terms of political value. Fashola has little political value, even in Lagos where he is governor. There is no way Fashola can defeat Buhari in any primary elections - even if both contest under PDP. And Fashola will not get votes outside Lagos the south west in a presidential election. The Igbos would not give Fashola up to 5% of votes. The South south would not vote Fashola. The North would not vote Fashola. What about the amnesty progam? The scam of paying 26,000 militants the sum of N65,000 every month for doing nothing, while the remaining millions of law abiding youth remain jobless and in abject poverty. Will the Amnesty program go beyond 2015?

The Communities are still being exploited, the oil spills are getting worse, the are still no pipe borne water, electricity, roads, schools, etc, even the oil theft is now free for all.

How many MW of electricity had actually been added to the grid by GEJ? During OBJ's period power generation was hovering between 3,000 to 4,000MW. Now under GEJ power generation hardly goes beyond 4,000MW, so why all the noise about improvement of power by GEJ's supporters.

Rather, he trained at Mons Military Academy at Aldershot, UK, which at the time was designed for short service training(6 months crash programme course) for lesser qualified candidates, who were considered "officer material", but did not meet the strict academic standards[b][/b] required for admission to Sandhurst.
What should be more worrying for any Buhari or APC supporter is that even the authorities that Buhari claims in his affidavit, are in possession of his academic certificates does not infact exist. Take this to the bank if you like, there is no Office or Establishment in the Nigerian Military known as "Secretary Military Board" or "Military Board Secretary". In the Nigerian Army, you only have the "Military Secretary's Office, otherwise known by its acronym: "MS". I am just surprised that Buhari's handlers could have goofed over such a minor issue.

A professional army would have remained silent and avoid any controversy. Is TANoids and the army implying that General Buhari enlisted into the army without the prerequisite qualifications, are they saying he attended all the military course - both home and abroad without collecting certificates from those institutions? Even ordinary Oshodi Computer school present certificates to students after completion of a one month computer appreciation course.

Here is a brief summery of Buhari's CV;
Joined the Nigerian Army in 1962.
Attended the Nigerian Military Training College (Later named NDA) in February 1964.
Underwent Officer Cadets training at Mons Officer Cadet School in Aldershot in England, United Kingdom 1962-1963.
Attended the US Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, United States of America (1979 -1980) and gained a Masters Degree in Strategic Studies.

Now are the TAN brigade telling us that Buhari attended all these institutions without receiving certificates from them.

Asking anybody who graduated from secondary school in 1962 for his original certificates is a bit far fetched. Even lots of people that left secondary school in the 80's have misplaced their original WAEC certificates. Certified true copies are often accepted in place of originals.
I am sure what Buhari is saying is that copies of all his certificates are available with the Nigerian army, and if need be it can be retrieved from them.

I doubt Buhari would have passed through INEC's screening 3 times in the past without presenting any certificate.

The total installed capacity is a mirage no system is ever likely to work at that rate in a sustained way anyway. It is like expecting Usain Bolt to run a sprint for hours. Power demand fluctuates during the day just like on the road with traffic there are peak periods when demand is high and low periods as well. A major problem with electricity in Nigeria is knowledge. Our engineers and technicians are limited in their knowledge and training. Also the sector has not operated as a business and so is plagued by corruption,nepotism and incompetence. Selling it off is a good start but this does not solve the knowledge problem. That is a strategic problem. We have to encourage our kids to study maths and science and seek to form partnerships that will result in knowledge transfer the way the Chinese did. Our largest power plant was built by the Japanese and when there is a major problem we still invite them back at great expense but they often keep our people in the dark about the key skills . If the sector operates like a business we should grow quickly. There is money in the economy to pay for electricity afterall people pay for generators aand I would argue that we generate more that PHCN on an individual and business level combined

I totally agree with you. There is a serious lack of technical expertise in Nigeria to manage power infrastructure - From generation to transmission. We rely heavy on foreigners for supply, installation and maintenance of heavy duty power plants. Even smaller generators more than 100kva is a problem for most Nigerian engineers. Our university are just not providing adequate skills for Mechanical and electrical engineering graduates.

The same problem exist in the telecommunincation industriy, most of the telecommunication hardware is being serviced and maintained by South Africans and Indians.

If you push 10,000Mw through our transmission lines, the system would collapse. Our sub-stations cannot accommodate more than 4,000Mw or at best 4,500Mw for sustain periods of time.

You do not have an idea of what it takes to build a modern properous industralized society. How can any intelligent person quarrel with the bolded statement above? Are you just hating on the man because of your hatred for Buhari or you are really serious?

Education is the pillar of any society that intends to leap from being a third world country to a developed one. The common denominator among all properous inducstial nations is high standard of education, and the common denominator among all poverty stricken nations is high levels of illiteracy. The Most important education is the basic educations, namely primary and secondary school education. That is the foundation for any further education. In the olden days, a standard six certificate holder can speak impeccable english and work any where.

One of the problem of Nigeria's mass education drive is poor nutrition due to the extruciating poverty among the ordinary masses. As a result their brains are not developing well enough.. So you see young children in poor areas having learning difficulties which puts them at a disadvatage from the very begining.

A School Feeding progam is a very good policy to address this problem. Primary school children ( or even junior Secondary students), should be fed once a day. It can easily be accommodated by the state governments. Buying and cooking the food in bulk will render the program very cheap. A country as populous as India has successfully inplemented such a program and it has greatly improved their educational standard.

My childrens school provide the children with one meal a day (which I billed for of course), and i can attest to the effect on their educational progress, that is apart from freeing the parents the stress of preparing and packaging food every day.

Please explain what you mean by People oriented wealth creation. For people to acquire the ability to create wealth, they have to be adequate educated.

First lady is just an term the US uses to describe the spouse of a sitting president. Nothing more, nothing less. They also refer to the family of a sitting president as first family, it does not mean the whole family has an office.

Is Sambo saying that no other copy of his certificates can be found anywhere? Is INEC saying they do not have any copy of Sambo's certificates in their possession?
What about NIA (Nigerian Institute of Architects)? Are they not in possession of a copy of Sambo's certificates? Is he even a registered architect? He goes by the name Architect Namadi Sambo, so what is his NIA registration number?

Finally, is a "to whom it may concern" letter enough for INEC's verification? Why can't the university issue another certificate? is the process of obtaining another certificate not similar to obtaining a "to whom it may concern letter"?

This obviously has the imprints of the US. The US does does not trust president Jonathan with arms, especially with elections coming up in less than 7 weeks. They believe the arms might end up with Boko Haram or with Niger Delta militants and fuel post election violent, whoever wins. Remember Jonathan has a standing army of over 26,000 Ijaw militants being paid by Nigeria ( in the name of amnesty program, as amnesty as been redefined to mean free money), Tompolo has been acquiring arms like he is preparing to invade another country. If sophisticated weapons gets into their hands, it will spell doom not only for Nigeria but the sub region.

The government is behaving as if Boko Haram started today, and arms must be hurriedly acquired today. Elections are a few weeks ahead. I doubt the Boko Haram wars can be effectively prosecuted during the campaign period. The government should concentrate on providing security for the elections for now and then face boko haram with full force if it gains reelection.

I am sure the US will deal with Nigeria better after the elections and the government is able to address the concerns of the Americans. I have always said it that confronting the US is foolish, countries like Israel and Saudi Arabia that tow along with US interests are not stupid.

The rate at which our leaders (president, governors, ministers, legislators, etc) visit foreign capitals is embarrassing. How many times in the past one year has this president paid both official and private visits to the US and the UK? i have lost count. Can't he find somewhere within Nigeria to take a break? How many presidents leave their country and come to Nigeria so often. How many times have Obama and Cameron visited Nigeria? Even other African heads of state, how many come to Nigeria? Even fellow west African do not jump into Nigeria at the slightest opportunity. How many times has the presidents of Benin Republic, Ghana, Cameroon or even ivory coast visited Nigeria?

Tomorrow this same government will accuse these same countries as being enemies of Nigeria. Why not visit our new found friends like Russia, Pakistan and china?

You are irrational and dishonest. How can I debate with you? You have added criteria to you telescope image from your last post, and added "cannot be a planet". It is called dishonesty and hypocrisy.

You need to learn how to articulate your point honestly. The direction you are heading in is that your confidence in the existence of the phenomenon in this case depends on a number of personally observed repeatable behaviours and features.

What you are failing to do with your dishonest mode of debate is to explain what the difference is between that and a religious person reporting personal experiences with their god.

Which criteria did i add to the telescope image? We are arguing whether the existence of Planets is based on faith, i told you that anybody who want physical evidence can get a telescope and look up the planets themselves, you came up with the stupid argument that the image on the telescope might be a blot on the telescope, a balloon (an Iridescent one) or a comet (i still laugh at this excuse). Anybody that wants to prove mars exist will know what Mars already looks like and will know where to search. The person will definitely know the difference between a balloon, a comet or even a blot on the lens. Except you suggest someone pasted a micro picture of mars on the lens.

I said secondary because the school gave me a solid science foundation, so much so that even though i went on to read Architecture, my passion for the sciences was never diminished. Please forget paper qualifications, there are tons of Mscs and Phds in the sciences in Nigeria who lack understanding of basic science principles.

What kind of researcher are you? It cannot be in the Natural and applied sciences, because there is no way a real scientist in the 21st century would be saying he believes in electrons because of faith.

For example someone shows you see a flat disc in a telescope that has the distinguishing features of say mars and you are able to follow its projected orbit for a few days, you will still say "no that is not a planet" it can be a comet , it can be a balloon, or even a blot on the telescope, but it cannot be a planet. Now, how can one debate with such a person.

I never said i have seen all the planets and moons in our solar system. I have only seen some, but there are actual photos of others by probes that have visited those planets and moons. But of course you will argue that the photos and even videos are fake to support your science if faith theory.

So you want me to monitor how ALL PHOTOS are produced before i accept them as authentic? In that case no evidence would be accepted in court except the judge himself is a witness to the crime. Are you implying fake pictures and videos cannot cannot be identified. Are you also implying that NASA would spend billions of dollars sending probes to space only to produce fake pictures and videos.
